About: I’m new on Rover, but over the past 15 years, I have provided dedicated pet sitting services for a wide variety of families, including those living on military bases. This extensive background, combined with owning a high energy Brittany Spaniel and a gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has given me a deep, well rounded understanding of different breed temperaments, strict home care rules, and structured routines. Whether your dog requires high energy exercise, specialized attention, or careful adherence to specific neighborhood boundaries, I bring the experience, trust, and reliability needed to keep your pets safe, happy, and completely at ease. Hi, I'm Daniella! I have a massive love for dogs and bring over 15 years of dedicated pet sitting experience to the table. Throughout the years, I have cared for pets for many different families, including those on military housing. I am also a proud pet parent myself to two wonderful dogs: a high energy Brittany and a sweet, cuddle loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel . Raising two very different breeds has given me firsthand experience managing contrasting energy levels, temperaments, and unique care routines! I believe our pets are truly family, and my top priority is ensuring your pup feels safe, loved, and completely at ease while you are away. Because I work with a highly flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate plenty of time and structured care to your dog. Whether they need energetic play sessions, a long walk to explore, or just a cozy spot on the couch to relax, I adapt completely to whatever your pup's routine looks like. When your pup is with me, you can expect regular text updates and plenty of cute photos so you can have total peace of mind! Safety is my absolute top priority, and I treat every guest pup with the exact same vigilance and care that I give my own two dogs. Because I have 15 years of pet sitting experience including caring for pets inside military housing communities I am highly disciplined, respect home rules, and am deeply familiar with maintaining strict safety guidelines and neighborhood boundaries. In My Care & Environment: 📍 Supervised and Secure: Pets under my care are never left unattended in unsecured areas. I am extremely mindful of door safety, ensuring pups are secure before any entryways are opened. 🐾 Tailored to Their Needs: With a high energy Brittany and a gentle Cavalier of my own, I know how to keep energetic dogs safely stimulated and small or sensitive dogs completely protected and relaxed. 📸 Clear Communication: I believe trust is built through transparency. You will receive regular check ins, updates, and photo updates so you always know your baby is safe, happy, and thriving. 📋 Strict Adherence to Routines: Whether your pup has specific dietary restrictions, precise medication schedules, or distinct boundary training rules, I follow your instructions down to a T. My goal is to provide a reliable, peaceful, and incredibly safe environment so you can travel with absolute peace of mind!

It was my first time leaving my dog Luna overnight with a sitter. Liza came out to my house before my travel and I could see immediately how comfortable and affectionate she is with dogs. She listened patiently while I went through Luna's routine and my house rules ... then she asked great questions. While on my 5 day trip, Liza sent pics/text reassuring me that Luna was fine. I could see that she was more than fine ... she was having a great time with Liza and her daughter (who I think she still misses!). Additionally, they were very respectful of my home, leaving it clean and tidy. Thank you so much!

About: Reliable, clean and active. I am an absolute animal lover and have been blessed to have watched, walked and cared for many beautiful dogs and cats over the last 15 years. I have good energy and can provide care and love for even the most spunky pets. I am a flight attendant and have extended periods of time off while I'm home. I also have a great deal of flexibility in my schedule and can take time off to accommodate long stays. Love! Play, exercise and attention are a must. Gentle discipline if needed and cleanup. I'm happy to brush and wash the pets as well for an additional fee. Whatever the animal needs I'm happy to give them my full attention.

Hannah did a fantastic job watching our pups. We have a Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees and she handled them (all 250+ lbs of them!) great! She kept to their normal routine and gave them lots of love. She sent updates and pictures which was so thoughtful. She even helped us in a pinch with an additional pup. Would certainly ask Hannah to watch the boys again and would recommend her to anyone who asked! Thanks Hannah!

Jen was the best sitter I could have found for my 115lb. Golden. I knew the day I met her and watched how Charlie reacted with her that she would be the person I could trust to stay with him. It was our first time leaving Charlie with anyone other than family, also it was the longest amount of time we would be gone. She stayed with Charlie for 6 days and 5 nights. Our flights were delayed both going and coming home. Jen was so accommodating, she came earlier than I had booked her for and stayed later at the end. I was completely at ease knowing Charlie was going to be so well cared for, even loved. He's such a creature of habit and Jen followed our routine perfectly. It was obvious from the way he reacted to Jen that he knew she was a good person and a dog lover. My husband and I will feel so much better about going away and leaving our dog, knowing that we will be able to call on Jen again. We were so fortunate to have found her!! Thank you so much Jen!!

About: I have had dogs my entire life and they are truly the best thing to ever happen to me. I am often called upon to dogsit when family & friends go out of town, I have lots of experience house/dog sitting and when the owners return they always are impressed with how their dog and home were taken care of. I have a rescue dog named Finley who is my whole world so you can rest assured I will treat your dog as my own and spoil them with lots of cuddles and belly rubs. I’m a teacher so weekends I’m always free and am usually always with my dog. I’m available most afternoons for drop in visits or to take your dog for a walk. Summers are also a time when I am completely free and would love to be able to care for your dog(s) while you enjoy a summer vacation! I have a fenced in backyard and a very friendly hound mix dog to keep your dog company. She loves to play and wants to be friends with every dog we meet. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

FAQs for House Sitting - Wareham

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Wareham on Rover is $40.93 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,326 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wareham. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wareham walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wareham maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wareham choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wareham. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
