About: I know how hard it is to walk out your door with those big eyes staring at you, and how it's even harder when you have to leave them for days. I am flattered you are considering trusting me with your sweet pup while you are away, it means a lot! I have had dogs ever since I was a kid and know these feelings all too well, so let me help out a little and give you some peace of mind that your pup will be well taken care of and exercised. I love taking care of anything that barks, meows, squawks, slithers any anything in between. As my own pets I have had dogs, a rabbit, chickens and a chameleon. I started off by fostering for a local adoption program and moved on to pet care in my own home and others. I have taken care of 12 week old puppies up to older pups needing special geriatric care. My dogs are family members in my house and I will treat yours no differently. I will be sure to get details from you if there are any behaviors you are working on with your pet to ensure I don't interfere and hopefully enhance any training you are working on with your pet. I truly take pleasure helping pet owner who care enough to seek out good care for their pets. *For the comfort of my older dog Roscoe and some of our more timid guests, I generally stick to dogs under 30 pounds unless they are older or particularly calm. He had a bad experience with a German Shepherd off leash on an walk and is a little nervous around bigger dogs now. I am home all day and I'm not glued to my computer but I do have an occasional virtual meeting that requires my attention. If your pup has accidents or gets into other trouble when unsupervised please let me know ahead of time so I can make sure they are in a comfortable safe space or supervised if I have a meeting. Your pup will never be alone for it any extended period of time, and between me and my husband it's likely they will ever be alone at all. We have lots of baby gates and room for them to have their own space if they need a break from my dogs. I have an older chihuahua mix and a young Aussiedoodle, both socialized and respectful of other pups (the doodle is a bit excited when meeting new people and fur friends, but she adjusts quickly.) They will be excited to meet new friends but if your pup prefers to be left alone, they will not bother them after the initial excitement wears off. We have a fully fenced secure yard not exposed to the front or foot traffic at all. We are very careful to follow all order from owners especially when it comes to behavior and diet to ensure that your pup is safe and comfortable while they are staying with us. We are so excited to meet you and your fur friend! I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule with a few meetings scheduled here in there. With two of my own we are on a pretty regular walking schedule and they definitely keep me informed of when dinner time is getting close when the weather warms up we definitely spend a lot of time outside in the fenced in yard but they are never left unsupervised outside. We have a fully fenced in yard and a nice covered deck, where they can enjoy some shade in the summer. We also have plenty of baby gates to give any pup that would like a little extra space some space to relax. Our little girl is happy to play with anybody that will play with her, but is also very used to her big brother who will certainly let her know when he’s not feeling playful.

About: Availability set for weekends, have some availability on weekdays must be by request. My name is Sydney, I have offered pet care for nearly 10 years. I have experience with aggressive, fearful, and special pups. No dog is too difficult for me! I am a student in school, otherwise this is my full time job! I also do nail trims for dogs who struggle at the vet or groomer! Correct equipment to walk a dog is very important. If your dog is easy on leash I will use an easy walk harness. If your dog struggles to behave or is unsure of themself on leash I use a prong collar in addition. Prong collars are SAFE and not scary or painful for your dog!

About: I have owned a female Belgian Shepherd mix as a child and she was so intelligent that she won multiple ribbons in local skills competitions. I also owned 2 female Saint Bernards (littermates) who I formally trained as pups. They were extremely sweet and gentle especially with my 3 newborn babies as they came home for the first time. I have done dog walking and sitting for several friends, some who had other animals in the home. I enjoy spending time with animals who give me so much joy. About: About Me Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of animals—sometimes five dogs at once, ranging from a St. Bernard to Chihuahuas, along with pot-bellied pigs, macaw parrots, hamsters, bunnies, cats, finches, and plenty more. Needless to say, caring for animals has always been second nature to me! I was also a vet tech in college, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals and a deeper understanding of their health, safety, and individual needs. Most recently, I became an approved foster home with Sandy Paws, which has been incredibly rewarding. My home currently includes quite the crew: Barbara Ann, my Persian cat; Pearl and Mabel, my two Boston Terriers; Taco, my bearded dragon; and Dunkin, my Polish Dwarf rabbit. I even have a koi pond! When your pet stays with me, their safety comes first. Dogs are on a leash 100% of the time when outside, and our cat never go outdoors. I also have a dedicated, private area where a dog can eat if they prefer to have their own space. I am happy to follow your pup’s exact feeding schedule and will stick closely to your instructions, including meal times, portions, medications, treats, or any other routine that helps them feel comfortable. I also take cleanliness seriously. I have a dedicated pet shower on my lower level, so after a fun stay, I can make sure your pup heads home happy, fresh, clean and squeaky clean! For the safety and comfort of every pet in my home, I do require a meet-and-greet before confirming a stay. All of my pets are on a schedule that I know like the back of our paws. Upon waking up I take turns letting the dogs outside, feeding them, giving fresh water and then play time. My cat likes to tell me that it is feeding time so I follow her to the dish. I am not fenced so I make sure ALL dogs are 100% leashed when going outside. I have a very large yard for playing and a very private driveway and street to walk them. My house is a safe space for all of the animals to free roam but also have privacy when they need it. The downstairs bathroom has my "pet spa" and then the laundry room is filled with light and a linoleum floor in case any accidents or spills happen. I can feed the animal in there as well. If I am visiting your fur baby in your home, I will treat your house with as much love and respect as I do my own.

As a kid I watched many neighbors dogs while they were on vacation and I am always the first one to fill a food or water bowl At this time I have a wide range of availability to care for dogs in my schedule. We have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment, nice shaded balcony and, as mentioned, access to trails and parks on-site. We both are home during the week (one of us works nights and the other works remotely); meaning your dog(s) will always be well taken care of! We love to offer a nice cool apartment for your senior dogs to chill in, our on-site dog park and/or natural trails for your more active pups. We’re both very active with our own dog (Omaha) so we look forward to welcoming your family members too! Most importantly, we want to know how YOU care for your dog(s) at home so that we can try to incorporate as much of the same at our home!
