Sarah is a great communicator! Pictures and messages every day. Our dog has severe anxiety and takes meds 4 times a day. Sarah was attentive to all of Dahlia’s needs. I cannot adequately express in words how grateful I am for Sarah and her care for our dog.

About: I've taken care of furbabies for over 20 years now. Dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits. My neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to care for their furbaby family members by not only walking and feeding their family member, but boarding, washing and grooming, and lots of fun playtime. I've been trained by a veterinarian to administer Sub Q fluids for emergency needs. I'm knowledgeable in surgery recovery as well. I will care for, and love, your family member just as I do mine. They will be pampered and cherished! I am a homemaker, looking for a bit of extra money, and an enjoyable job. I have flexible hours to help anyone with their pets. I am responsible, courteous, punctual, and a very loving person, and cat owner. I love all animals, and would love to help you out. Ask me questions if you'd like to know more about me. Please consider me for your pet care needs! I am a very careful, and respectful person. I will adhere to any instructions for your pet. I have two available bedrooms that I can make available to your pet when needed during their stay. Crate trained pets are a plus, but not a must. I have been trained by a veterinarian to administer Sub Q fluids in case of an emergency. I've given them to ferrets, and cats of my own. I'm reliable, and always on time.

About: My name is Annalise, I go by Frankii. I’ve been surrounded by all kinds of animals my whole life, from my first job being at a dog kennel, to my mother opening a Bearded Dragon and Ball Python Snake Breeding Business, where we hatch, care for, and find homes for different reptiles. All my spare time from ages 14-17 was spent volunteering at dog and cats shelters and traveling with the reptiles to different conventions. I have love for and experience in caring for all animals from dogs and cats of any size to snakes and lizards of any kind. Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to do what I love for work. I’m currently only part-time with the reptile business, so I have plenty of extra time on my hands that I’d love to spend both taking care of animals, but also to give a helping hand. Because I don’t offer services inside my own home, to get to know me and my environment I can give you overview of my day. My day begins with walking our puppy, Ozzy, and getting him his food. While I get ready for the day and get the reptile’s lettuce ready, I make sure Ozzy is present and getting lots of love. Ozzy walks with me up and down the stairs while feeding the lizards and walks with me over to my friend’s house to let out her dogs. They’ve grown up around each other and are very comfy playmates. When everyone has finished potting and playing, I wait a bit before handing out food for their stomachs to settle. After leaving my friends, I have free time until a little after noon to distribute bugs to the lizards. Once a week or so, I also take time around noon to clean out tanks and deep clean bowls. Besides a few details, that’s about the design of my day. Thank you for reading

We cannot recommend Lee highly enough! He cared for our two senior dogs while we were on an international trip, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. I have a prior career in veterinary medicine, so I hold an extremely high standard when it comes to the care of my pets- especially since both of our dogs are seniors who require multiple medications twice daily. Lee exceeded every expectation. He followed all instructions flawlessly, managed their medication schedule without a single issue or complication, and cared for them with genuine attentiveness and compassion. Leaving them would normally have been incredibly stressful. This was the first time we have ever been away from home without a single issue arising- and that peace of mind is absolutely priceless to us. We truly did not worry for a second while we were gone. Lee also took wonderful care of our home and was outstanding with communication. He provided multiple daily updates, which kept us connected and reassured the entire time. Everything felt seamless and easy because of him. Because of Lee, we were able to fully enjoy every moment of our trip knowing our pets were safe, loved, and in the very best hands. We are beyond grateful and will absolutely be recommending him to everyone we know. Thank you again, Lee- you are truly one of a kind!

About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I typically work a few days out of the week and 4-6 hour shifts! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.

Our 4 year old goldendoodle , Rosey, has NEVER been left alone. We had to fly to NYC to visit our grandson and left Rosey in Mia’s hands. Rosey adopted Mia IMMEDIATELY. Mia was fantastic. By the time we got back home Mia was Rosey’s best friend! Mia was fantastic and will be Rosey’s ONLY caregiver

About: I lived on a farm growing up, taking care of all types of animals. I have a genuine love & care for them. Assuring your pets will get the best care. Also, I worked in a K-9 unit for 2 years. I am reliable & respectful of you & your pet needs. I am currently taking a break from work at the moment & pursuing my bachelors degree online. I can fit pet care in at anytime on any day. Everyone cares for their pets differently, that’s no surprise. My job is to listen to what you want for your pets. If I’m not already outside play or walking pets, I like to take them out every hour. FAQs for House Sitting - Ware Place

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Ware Place on Rover is $16.05 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 936 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ware Place. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ware Place walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ware Place maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ware Place choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ware Place. On Rover:

  • 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
