“Jasmin is awesome! We get a meet and greet before she watches our cats and she was very personable. Very easy to talk to and she has a good spirit, my cats instantly took to her. Her drop ins were thorough, I got photos and updates! We will definitely be working with Jasmin again!”

“Sarah was fabulous! I needed her last minute and she was more than willing! She kept me posted on every walk and I didn’t have worry about Marley at all! I would recommend her for any of your pet needs! Thanks Sarah!!”

“Amber is incredibly punctual and has such a way with my animals - I am so grateful we found her and will be using her every time there is a need for outstanding pet sitting! It’s so reassuring to know they’re in such good hands.”

“Jessica was an amazing cat sitter! She was very attentive to the cats; Cinnamon loved her so much. She sent pictures of our cats and left report cards after each visit. We also really appreciated her quickly informing us that we had an ant problem. Thanks to her, we were able to address the issue while we were away. Thank you!”

“Christine was very nice to watch our cat so last minute due to an urgent family matter we had to travel out of state for. She followed the directions & showed up when she needed to. Thank you!”

“If I could give April more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was our first time ever having someone we didn’t know come into our home to care for our dogs, so I was honestly pretty nervous. From the moment we met April at our meet and greet, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. She immediately made us feel comfortable, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. While we were away, April went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared for our three very different pups, from our wild, energetic puppy to our sweet 16-year-old senior, each with their own unique needs. She provided incredible communication throughout the entire weekend with thoughtful updates, detailed visit summaries, and lots of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. What truly impressed us was everything she did that we never even asked for. Despite the rainy weather, she brought her own towels to dry our dogs off after taking them outside. She also stayed longer than scheduled to take each of our dogs on individual walks, simply because she wanted to make sure they got the attention and exercise they deserved. In just a few days, April went from being someone we had just met to someone who felt like a trusted friend. Knowing our dogs were loved and cared for as if they were her own made it possible for us to truly relax and enjoy our time away. And as if all of that wasn’t enough, we came home to the sweetest surprise: a beautiful hand-picked bouquet of flowers and fresh cucumbers from her garden. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture that perfectly reflects the kind of person she is. We are beyond grateful to have found April. She exceeded every expectation we had, and we won’t hesitate to book with her again and again. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, dependable, and will love your pets like family, book April!”

“I want to share how grateful we are for Emilie’s dedication and care. Not only does she look after our pets with love and responsibility, but she went above and beyond when our cat went missing. Emilie helped us search tirelessly, showing how deeply she cares for the animals she looks after. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and truly committed, I wholeheartedly recommend Emilie as a petsitter 🐾”
“Crystal was absolutely wonderful! We had scheduled a meet/greet. Unfortunately I had an emergency and needed her earlier than I’d scheduled and for the week instead of a night. She even offered to go get more food for my pups bc I knew they were going to run out. Dogs were so happy and I couldn’t be happier with her services heart”

“Kendall was the best!! She was so responsive and communicative. I felt like my girls were in the best hands while I was gone. I will definitely be utilizing her again in the future and recommend her to anyone who is looking for excellent care. She was such a gem and invaluable to us while we were on vacation!!”

About: I’ve had pets since I could remember and they’ve always been a special part of my life. Being able to care for your pets, just as attentively as I do my own, would bring me so much joy. I’ve cared for many family and friend’s pets so much so, that I would love to start professionally pet sitting. I currently work an 8-5 job 4 days out of the week but have plenty of time before and after work to feed, take to the potty, and love on your pets. My weekends are very open and I can spend more time playing with your pet as well. I have experience in cleaning up accidents, walking, feeding, administering oral medications just like I do for my own animals. I am capable of leaving your home secure and intact while you are away. I’m sure I can responsibly handle anything that comes my way.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 811 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Ware Place. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ware Place. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
