About: Since early childhood, I have had the blessing of having my own pets of all kinds and simultaneously caring for the pets of my friends and neighbors while they are unable to be home. As a lifelong animal lover, I am trusted by my clients time and time again to treat their fur babies as I would my own, and strive to make them as comfortable and happy as possible while their humans are away. My first dog was Eddy, a husky puppy that was my best companion until his golden years, and it was such an amazing experience- from training him as a puppy to caring for him as an adult and then a senior. I am quite knowledgeable about a plethora of dog breeds and would love the opportunity to give the best care to yours while you are away! I am currently working part-time, and have late afternoons and evenings free. I am also flexible some mornings and am open to overnight stays as well. I strive to care for your pet exactly as you would by adhering to their specific schedules and needs. I enjoy sending photos and updates to the owner as well (if desired) so that you feel more connected to your pet while away!

From the moment we met April at our meet and greet, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. She immediately made us feel comfortable, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. While we were away, April went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared for our three very different pups, from our wild, energetic puppy to our sweet 16-year-old senior, each with their own unique needs. She provided incredible communication throughout the entire weekend with thoughtful updates, detailed visit summaries, and lots of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. What truly impressed us was everything she did that we never even asked for. Despite the rainy weather, she brought her own towels to dry our dogs off after taking them outside.
