“If I could give April more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was our first time ever having someone we didn’t know come into our home to care for our dogs, so I was honestly pretty nervous. From the moment we met April at our meet and greet, every bit of that anxiety disappeared. She immediately made us feel comfortable, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. While we were away, April went above and beyond in every possible way. She cared for our three very different pups, from our wild, energetic puppy to our sweet 16-year-old senior, each with their own unique needs. She provided incredible communication throughout the entire weekend with thoughtful updates, detailed visit summaries, and lots of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. What truly impressed us was everything she did that we never even asked for. Despite the rainy weather, she brought her own towels to dry our dogs off after taking them outside. She also stayed longer than scheduled to take each of our dogs on individual walks, simply because she wanted to make sure they got the attention and exercise they deserved. In just a few days, April went from being someone we had just met to someone who felt like a trusted friend. Knowing our dogs were loved and cared for as if they were her own made it possible for us to truly relax and enjoy our time away. About: I’ve had both dogs and cats my whole life! My current pet, Gus, is a pomeranian-bichon. Im experienced in dog sitting and training. Fun fact, i’ve also had fancy mice before! I’d love to ease your mind and give your babies the care they need when you’re unable to. I am working Part-Time, so on days that I work, i can be available before 10, and after 7:30. On days when I’m off, I can do anytime! I have a fenced in yard that accommodates my 3 dogs here at home. We also take care of several strays in the neighborhood that have a little sanctuary on the front porch.
About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

About: I have worked in rescues on and off for the last 10 years. I have also been a private pet sitter for the last 7! I am currently a stay at home mom but have great flexibility with both kids in school. I am also available for early morning and evening walks for those who may work night shift. About: I began working at Radnor Veterinary Hospital as a Boarding Attendant, where I cared for a variety of animals, primarily dogs, and was responsible for feeding, walking, medicating, and monitoring their daily needs. I then worked as a Veterinary Assistant at the Exotic and Small Animal Hospital of PA, where I gained extensive hands-on experience with both small animals and exotic pets. I assisted with appointments, treatments, medications, laboratory work, and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. This experience taught me how to recognize changes in an animal’s behavior and health, safely handle animals, and provide attentive care for pets with different needs. I am currently a pre-veterinary student at Clemson University pursuing my passion for becoming a veterinarian. I especially enjoy caring for rabbits and dogs, but honestly just love being around animals. I have classes regularly; however, in the afternoon and later evenings, I am usually free almost every day! I try to be really flexible; however, school does create some constraints. I make sure to locate the nearest vet in case of an emergency, keep a close eye on your pet during the whole time, and record if I see anything unusual.

When Jack got home, he settled instantly back into his routine and usual social activity which tells me he was happy during the stay with Raquel. Jack stayed in a bedroom of his own with supplies and blankets we packed from home. Raquel assured me it was very quiet and calm in her house even if other pets are also staying with her, but in separated rooms and spaces. She played and cuddled with him daily (or tried to with a 16.5 year old cat). The supplies and blankets were cleaned and returned at the end of his stay. I will book Jack for future stays since everything went so well!”
