About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.

About: I grew up having pets all my life, and after high school started doing pet sitting occasionally. My pets have ranged from a Jacksons Chameleon, a few farm animals, and of course, dogs and cats! Two of my current animals are special needs, one with only 3 legs and one with a seizure disorder, so I’m well versed in animals that need a little *extra* care! “I just moved to South Carolina a month ago and had to be away a couple of days this past weekend. I was quite anxious having to find someone to stay in my home and take care of my sweet, Nala. She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

“Chris, Debbies's husband, is a fantastic pet sitter. He watched our four dogs and two cats while we were in Ireland. Chris had no issues managing the feeding, medications, exercising, and general care of this diverse group. He sent pictures and updates throughout the week and everyone was happy and healthy when we returned. Chris has a calm and reassuring manner which helps with dogs who have separation anxiety. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing that our pups and kitties were well taken care of. He also did some cleaning and laundry which was not necessary but greatly appreciated.”
