“George fell in love with Sara. She came to meet and great a couple times for us to get to know her and for George to get to know her as well. We got up dates and pictures a couple times a day as to how George was adjusting as he has never been left alone before. To have him in his own environment with all "his" things to keep him company was great! WE left instructions for Sara as to what when and where he ate, his likes and dislikes, his likes and what not! He was such a happy boy when we got home. All thanks to Sara treating him like her own. She stayed at our home to keep him company as well which, probably made George feel much safer. Came home to a clean house, she treated it like it was her own! Very much appreciated! Thank you so much Sara! We couldn't have accomplished our trip without you!”

“Keslie was AMAZING! We had such a great experience! From the start, communication was clear and consistent, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Charlie was well cared for, happy, and clearly comfortable the entire time. We really appreciated the updates, photos, and attention to detail—it made a big difference knowing everything at home was going smoothly. It’s obvious Keslie genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

“This was our first time using Rover for our very skittish rescue dog. Before booking Lee came and sat with Maple for an hour just to let her warm up to him some and learn more about her. We felt very comfortable being several states away and got frequent picture and video updates without having to ask. We came home to Maple lying contently in her bed. I would recommend Lee to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

“Amber did a wonderful job with our two pups. They can be a handful but Amber was patient with them and made sure they were well loved! She also left our home just as we left it. We will be working with her again.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Julie! She took care of our pups for 3 nights and kept us updated with texts and photos regularly. She was super easy to work with and our pups were happy upon our return! Would highly recommend!”

“We had an amazing experience with Lori! She stayed at our home and cared for our two dogs/two cats while we were away. One of our dogs had recently undergone surgery and required medications, rehab exercises, constant monitoring, and a very specific care routine. She took the time to come by before our trip to learn everything and handled his care flawlessly. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with photos and messages, stayed incredibly organized, and communicated wonderfully. What impressed us most was the level of care and dedication she showed. Not only during our trip, but also by checking in on our dog’s recovery afterward. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring. Very grateful will 100% be booking with her again!”

“I just moved to South Carolina a month ago and had to be away a couple of days this past weekend. I was quite anxious having to find someone to stay in my home and take care of my sweet, Nala. She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

“Shirley was wonderful. She stayed at our home and took great care of our dog while we were away. She was kind, respectful of the house, and very easy to communicate with. We came back to a happy dog and everything exactly as we left it. We would absolutely have her sit for us again and highly recommend her.”

“Crystal was great! She followed all instructions and provided updates and pictures of our 3 fur babies regularly. It’s nice to be able to relax on vacation knowing your pets are being cared for by a professional.”

About: I grew up having pets all my life, and after high school started doing pet sitting occasionally. My pets have ranged from a Jacksons Chameleon, a few farm animals, and of course, dogs and cats! Two of my current animals are special needs, one with only 3 legs and one with a seizure disorder, so I’m well versed in animals that need a little *extra* care! I currently work part time as a nanny, so I have more than enough time for drop-ins to take care of your pets and give them all the love, cuddles, and treats they may need! I care for pets in YOUR home and treat it as if you’re one of my nanny clients. I’ll follow your pets daily routine when it comes to food, walks, meds, etc and leave enough time for cuddles as well making sure the house is left clean from any pet accidents or pet messes.
“Shannon is awesome! She cared for our pup for two weeks. Sent photos and updates. Our house was spotless when we returned. She makes being away a bit easier. Highly recommend.”

About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.

“Kim is very personable and easy to connect with. She remembered details about my dog’s care She also watched my house and informed me when my water feature stopped working. She loves dogs and it was clear that she loved mine. Pictures while I was away helped me cope with being away. The house and my dog were both in great shape when I returned after I was away for a week. She was very flexible with scheduling and even followed up to make sure that I didn’t need her to check back in — in case we had a flight delay. She will definitely be my first choice moving forward.”

About: Hi, my name is Sarah! As a dog mom myself (I have a 17 year old Yorkie named Ruby), I know how special our pets are to our hearts and the importance of finding a great, caring sitter for those times when we must be away. In addition, I have ample pet-sitting/walking experience with both large and small breed dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, raccoons, and a variety of other animals. I’m responsible, kind, and genuinely love critters of all kinds! I’m also more than happy to provide references, if requested. Please message me if you have any questions! Pet care is incredibly important to me. Therefore, I prioritize and customize my routine based on pets’ needs to ensure that they are cared for to the highest standard. I am happy to care for pets in the client’s home or in my own, depending upon the client’s needs/preferences. I feed, walk, play, take out for potty breaks, and spend quality time with pets. I am also comfortable with giving medication to pets if needed.
“Bella did a terrific job of taking care of our pups while we were away. She was punctual and showed great communication throughout the stay. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I have expireance with special care needs like diabetic pets who need to be given insulin shots, elderly dogs with oral pills they would rather not take, and bouncing puppies who need to let out alot of energy. I also have owned many animals since I was little with minimal parental help. These animals include dogs, cats, snakes, mice, rats, fish, birds, spiders, and frogs. I have experience in highschool vet care and college lab and field experience in herpetology, ornithology, and ictheology. Your fur babies will love spending their time with me when you can't be there. I just graduated college and would love to make money doing somthing I'm good at; careing for animals. Since I just graduated and don't have another job currently I'm free at most times and would love to be of service to you. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.
“Anna did an excellent job taking care of my two large high maintenance, dog-reactive dogs. She tidied up after herself, provided frequent check ins and photos, and asked a lot of questions up front to make sure she was prepared to meet their complicated needs. Absolutely will book Anna again.”
