“George fell in love with Sara. She came to meet and great a couple times for us to get to know her and for George to get to know her as well. We got up dates and pictures a couple times a day as to how George was adjusting as he has never been left alone before. To have him in his own environment with all "his" things to keep him company was great! WE left instructions for Sara as to what when and where he ate, his likes and dislikes, his likes and what not! He was such a happy boy when we got home. All thanks to Sara treating him like her own. She stayed at our home to keep him company as well which, probably made George feel much safer. Came home to a clean house, she treated it like it was her own! Very much appreciated! Thank you so much Sara! We couldn't have accomplished our trip without you!”

“I just moved to South Carolina a month ago and had to be away a couple of days this past weekend. I was quite anxious having to find someone to stay in my home and take care of my sweet, Nala. She is older, is a rescue, is a large dog, and the move was alot for her. I arranged a meet with Jerry and I was at ease right away; more importantly, Nala was at ease right away. I think dogs sense immediately if a person is a good fit or not. The day I had to leave, Jerry showed up on time (a bit early, actually, which I truly appreciated) and Nala was very excited to see him. Jerry sent many pictures and texts about how things were going over the two days, let me know when he had to leave for awhile and communicated when he was back. Nala needs alot of love and Jerry was attentive and very willing to give affection to her. The stay could not have gone better. Jerry was also very respective of my home and took good care of everything while I was gone. I highly recommend Jerry and am grateful I found him on Rover.”

About: I grew up having pets all my life, and after high school started doing pet sitting occasionally. My pets have ranged from a Jacksons Chameleon, a few farm animals, and of course, dogs and cats! Two of my current animals are special needs, one with only 3 legs and one with a seizure disorder, so I’m well versed in animals that need a little *extra* care! I currently work part time as a nanny, so I have more than enough time for drop-ins to take care of your pets and give them all the love, cuddles, and treats they may need! I care for pets in YOUR home and treat it as if you’re one of my nanny clients. I’ll follow your pets daily routine when it comes to food, walks, meds, etc and leave enough time for cuddles as well making sure the house is left clean from any pet accidents or pet messes.

About: I have been on Rover for over a year now and have fallen in love with pet sitting! I have several repeat clients who I love. I have always had dogs in my house and I am currently raising my puppy Roy! I feel as though pets have more feelings than humans so I make sure to give them special attention! I am a full time student at Clemson University and work a part time job so when i’m away from those i always make sure to spend time playing with my dog and taking care of him. I love to be around and let him hangout with me anytime I can since he’s so sweet and funny! I typically find myself watching a few pets every month! I always give pets as much attention as they will let me. I feel as though feedings schedules and daily walks and attention are necessary for animals. I also like to make sure they have clean food and water and plenty of it! I also make sure to pay special attention to their body language and can change my routines or anything they may need to make them more comfortable.

About: I have always grown up around animals and started my first pet sitting business when I was 8 years old. I have years of experience making sure when you’re away the pets are feeling loved, cared for, and comfortable. I am available all summer, Sunday through Saturday, until the end of August. After that, I am available Monday through Friday in the evenings and all weekend. I am also open to providing pet care services either in my home or in your home, depending on what works best for you and your pet’s needs. I do not have a fenced-in yard, but I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood that is great for leashed walks and outdoor time. Inside my home, there is plenty of space and multiple rooms available to ensure pets can be comfortable, relaxed, and separated if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost respect and care, following all instructions closely and keeping everything clean, secure, and as you left it. I prioritize your pet’s safety and routine, and I always aim to provide gentle, attentive care so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have always been a huge dog lover and had a dream of training dogs when I got older. I have pet sit for family members before and I have worked at dog daycares in the past. I am comfortable and have experience with dog walking, feeding, bathing, basic training, oral & topical medication, and taking dogs in my car to fun places. I also know dog and cat cpr. I’m currently a college student taking a 100% online course so my schedule is very open. I can work mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and weekends. I am also comfortable staying overnight as needed. I love getting out for walks with my personal dogs and would love to take your pup out too for some much needed exercise.
