About: Between my wife and I, we've had a variety of animals to care for. From horses, lizards, birds, cats, dogs and even the wildest of them all; children! In addition to that I have experience in caring for special needs and the elderly. So, we know the importance in making your special family members are well loved while you're away. Evening drop off/pick ups are much more preferred due to full time jobs and a child in grade school. We have pets of our own so pet care is just a part of daily life! We both work full time jobs, but our mother/in-law moved lives with us and can let them out during the day. In the evening we have a 5 year old daughter who loves pets and is an eager helper! The weekends we are homebodies but still love to go to parks and walks as a family. We have a large fenced in backyard, space for whichever pet requires a crate. Aside from the occasional 5 year old meltdown, we have a relatively quiet home, good for your pets that prefer the quiet.

About: Hi My Name is Crystal. I grew up here in Simpsonville. I've grown up around animals of all kinds. I started caring for them at an early age. We had what most people would call a small farm. We had Dogs, cats, poultry, swine, Gerbils, Hamsters, Rabbit. Peacocks, pheasants, quail, the list can go on. I have cared for animals of all ages. I also can take care of plants while you are away. My house and pet sitting knowledge began while living in Charlotte attending community college, I would house sit for friends while their families were on vacation. Taking care of their plants and animals as if they were my own. My pets are my children and that is how I will treat your pets as well. They are family members. I know most pets are set in their ways with a schedule, and I will strive to maintain that they stay on their schedule. Currently in my home with my family I have a Welsh Pembroke Corgi named Beauxman Makenna. He is 11 years old. I also have a rescue Orange Tabby cat named Wilson. However, with my family our house has 4 dogs, 3 upstairs cats, 6 downstairs cats, amongst feeding neighborhood cats. Over the last number of years I have house sat for neighbors, while they have gone on vacation as well. I look forward to working with you soon. My Schedule is Super Flexible to best fit your needs. For the foreseeable future I am available for House Sitting and Pet Sitting. First thing in the morning animals need their morning bathroom time before breakfast, food, and outside again. I take my pups out as they ask to go out. If it is hot outside I limited their outside time, but add frequent trips for shorter times outside, to keep them from getting over heated. Playing with toys and giving them time to play is also one of my favorite things. I do enjoy snuggle time with them as well. I am not able to watch pups in my own home because of number of animals and family members. I will be glad to do morning and afternoon checks (Feeding, bathroom, playtime, attention). Or my other option is I will be glad to stay as a guest in your home to watch your animals and house. I will treat your home, and animals with the upmost respect. I will also provide daily pictures of your animals.

My husband, three children (ages 20, 18, 15), and I have lived in Simpsonville, SC for 23 years: it’s definitely home sweet home! We have five dogs, two outdoor cats, three indoor cats, and a Leopard Gecko. Yes, we all *LOVE* animals! Pets are an integral part of our lives: always have been, always will be! Years back, during my BC (Before Children) era, I was an intake coordinator and foster parent for Foothills Golden Retriever Rescue. Hard to put into words the pure joy in being a part of the rescue world. I have since worked with the Greenville Humane Society in education outreach, and when in the field of education, was involved with Foothills Search & Rescue (am now a volunteer in their wonderful nonprofit) and SLED’s (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) K-9 unit: brought both in, simultaneously and multiple times, to the school I taught at, to conduct an animal intelligence demo for the school student body. In addition, I have a wide-range of experience working with special needs dogs and cats in a variety of capacities: administration of meds (oral and injected), obedience training (currently training a 4-month-old German Shepherd Dog, and 6 month old Golden Retriever), as well as more than two decades with fosters and rescues- many with behavioral challenges including separation anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding. I work from home and my husband is retired so we are both available to care for and love on your sweet baby! It’s not fenced in but are in a quiet neighborhood and go for many walks around the neighborhood. With my husband retire and I work from home we can give fulltime love and attention to your 4 legged baby! We look forward to meeting you! About: Since having my first dog for a pet, in 1982 -- and cherishing borrowed time with five more canines each taking their turn as MVPs and forever memorialized in my family's hall of fame, through 2023 -- I have been convinced that dogs possess an unconditional dedication and friendship that almost no person on Earth can match. Dog walking has been a way of life, and an ultimate pastime, by my wife and me taking favorite routes and paths in an array of places. Clipping our dogs' nails, and brushing their teeth, also have been regular duties I embrace for them. Our pet family also includes a gray cockatiel who joined us in 2013, and three 5.5-gallon aquariums: one with three tetras, and two others each with a dwarf gourami, who each come to the front of the tank when we talk aloud to say hello. Another pastime of mine has entailed horseback riding, for the past 20 years, and since 2017, lessons in the saddle on draft horses -- where I do some of my best reflection. Retired from nearly a quarter-century as a writer and editor in the daily newspaper industry -- and having met and interviewed so many special people -- each of whom taught me something about the way of the world -- I have plenty of part-time availability to provide TLC daily. Every dog is more than a pet, but a family member, with his or her own special personality. Like people, no two are alike -- and meeting every dog -- an apple in someone's eye -- is an honor. Following every client's direction to a T is the only formula I follow. Each dog has different needs and timing, and I fully respect that. Having worked part time in security across a city convention center and in maintaining private, HOA community swimming pools, my radar never dims, either, on keeping an eagle eye on all premises.

Growing up on a farm, I’ve tended to animals my whole life, when I worked with the cliffs I would spend a lot of time pet sitting for our members. I enjoy reading, snuggling with my cat, hiking, live music! I work as a veterinary assistant at an emergency clinic here in Greenville, I’m available to help with your fur babies anytime in between that! I look forward to getting to love on your fur babies! I work a rotating every two week schedule. I work 12PM-12AM 3 times a week. I look forward to meeting more fur babies and to give them a little extra love! I am a part time employee at Greenville Animal Care and work Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays 8-5pm and Fridays 8-1pm. That means I can be gone for at most 10 hours on my work days. These hours are hard set so there should not be times where they should vary. If close enough, I am able to do check ins during my lunch hour, pet parents would just need to ask! I unfortunately cannot board pets at my home due to my apartments policy. We have a max of three animals in a unit and we are at that number. I always make sure to respect another's home and make sure to not disturb a place where the pet feels most safe. My main focus is the animal, making sure they get the best care in their home. With dogs, I love taking them on car rides (if they are a fan of them) and treating them to a day in the sun! There’s a screened porch where your dog can safely enjoy some fresh air, and my community has its own dog park—great for playtime and exercise. When we go for a ride, I use a dog seat belt to keep your pup safe and secure. I also have a medium-sized crate available if your dog feels more comfortable with their own space or needs a little downtime. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities.
