When she came to meet the pups she was warm and patient, and we instantly felt comfortable leaving them in her care. Her updates during the drop-ins and house sitting were outstanding — detailed, reassuring, and full of adorable photos that made being away so much easier. She handled Rosie’s initial nervousness perfectly (gave her space, used treats, and adapted walks until she was wagging and excited), while Winston had a blast on his outings. Every check-in felt thoughtful and personalized. Johanna is professional, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. She went above and beyond to keep us in the loop and make sure the pups were happy and safe. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs and zero stress. About: I've had dogs my entire life and adopted my own 11 years ago. I've cared for both cats and dogs of family members and friends. During Covid we adopted a rescue puppy and I was the primary responsibility for her training and care. I work from home most days of the week, giving me plenty of time to spend with your pet! My schedule is most flexible Friday-Monday making it perfect for a long weekend. As a dog owner myself, your pets safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I have crate-trained dogs and am comfortable adjusting my care approach to the pet.

About: Our dogs have been our best friends for 20 years. We give them the treatment they deserve such as tons of pampering, love and care! We are retirees looking to fill our days and as pet lovers we decided we should share that time and love to other furbabies! We had three beautiful Golden Retrievers, all now in doggie heaven ♡ We currently have a 4 year old, playful, male Goldendoodle, an instant playmate to your furbaby! We have a fenced yard and we live in a quiet neighborhood, close to parks and a lake nearby to take them walking! We are mostly home so we will spend a ton of time with your fur baby may that be on walks, quick trips to nearby parks and lakes (yes car rides!) or simply chilling in our zen garden. They are the boss of us! We care for them like our own and take into consideration what they are used to. Your fur baby's comfort is our priority. They will always have company and will never be left alone.

About: I’ve been a volunteer at two different animal shelters, including Olympia‘s Joint Animal Services. I’ve worked with everything from tiny 4 week old kittens to elderly dogs, and I’m comfortable delivering some medications. As a former teacher and current volunteer educator I’ve passed many background checks. I’ve taken care of my own pets and those of family and friends my whole life, and I love getting to know new fur friends. I am currently working part time as a consultant so my pet care schedule is very flexible. I am available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Meeting someone new can be stressful for an animal, so I meet your pets with patience and attention to their needs. I strive to be a calm and safe presence although I am also happy to have fun and match their energy if they are looking to be playful.

About: I grew up with all sorts of pet friends: frogs, geckos, dogs, and cats. From a year long pet sitting gig to one of my regulars that has geese and ducks! My work from home position and my Wednesday-Sunday work schedule gives me a unique position that most others cannot provide. I am home bound for work during typical "social days" and love to have pets of all kinds as my coworkers! Everyone's needs are different. I personally have two indoor cats that I would never let out. But, I know others who have an outdoor cat they take on walks. Understanding that each pet has a different personality, routines, and temperament is the key to making sure everyone's needs are met.

About: I grew up with cats and started taking care of neighbor's cats while they were on vacation from a young age. I have also taken care of dogs! I've enjoyed petsitting for the past few years for multiple families through Trusted Housesitters. I've taken care of pets that need to take pills or be given insulin shots. I love getting to know new pets! My current work is on a somewhat irregular schedule, but I'm usually free mornings, early evenings, and often afternoons! I would have plenty of time to check in on and play with your pet, and am happy to stay overnight in a housesit to keep your pet company. My work is less frequent during the winter, so I have even more time to spend with your pet! At my house, I don't currently have any pets of my own, but my roommates have some sweet and friendly dogs! I mostly plan on using this app for housesits and check-ins, so I will be able to minimize interruptions to your pet's normal environment. I always make sure that I'll be able to provide the care your pets need before I accept a job.
