About: Aloha! I’m Nea, a born-and-raised Kaua‘i girl now living in Honolulu near Ala Moana. I’ve grown up around and owned animals my whole life—horses, chickens, bunnies, birds, cats, and of course, dogs—and I’m truly an all-around animal lover! I get so much joy out of spending time with animals and helping care for others’ furry friends. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior needing a little extra TLC, or a quirky dog with specific routines, I genuinely love getting to know each one’s unique personality. I’ve raised and owned Border Collies and Australian Shepherds (you can see my parents dog, Tucker, a blonde collie, featured in a number of my photos), so I’m especially comfortable with high-energy breeds. However, I’ve worked with dogs of all types and temperaments. I’ve been a dog walker and sitter throughout high school and college, and through Rover for several years while living in NYC and back on Kaua‘i—so in total, I’ve been doing this as a side gig for about 15 years now. I’ve cared for everything from a tiny Chihuahua named Lolo to a 180lb Great Dane named Pebbles to a reactive hound named George who only did night walks. No matter the service (walks, drop-ins, etc), I treat every pet I work with like part of my family and love making their day brighter (and yours a little easier). My husband and I lost our beloved dog Logan last year due to cancer and, while we aren’t quite ready to welcome another pup into our home full-time, we’ve both gotten so much fulfillment from helping out other pet parents. I work from home as an education policy consultant, and I’m very lucky that my job offers a lot of flexibility and autonomy in scheduling. My workday typically starts early since my team is based on the mainland, which means I often wrap up by lunchtime and have plenty of time to spend with pups. Even during working hours, I can usually shift meetings or build in breaks to fit in a walk or drop-in visit. Overall, I’m able to accommodate most pet care routines. Whether it’s a quick morning walk, a lunchtime drop-in, or a longer afternoon outing for an energetic pup, I’m happy to tailor care to whatever works best for your dog! Weekends are also often wide open, and I’m more than happy to take clients then as well. At the moment, I’m unable to offer overnights or boarding in my home, but I do provide walks, drop-in visits, and in-your-home sitting throughout Honolulu. When I’m caring for your pup—whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit or staying for longer—you can count on me to treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I make it a point to send regular, thorough updates and plenty of photos throughout my time with your pet. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your furry friend with someone else, and I want to ease that as much as possible for my clients by keeping you informed and connected every step of the way! I’m dependable, communicative, and focused on making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I keep routines consistent, follow your instructions closely, and am always prepared to respond quickly if something unexpected comes up.

She sent lots of photos, asked questions when needed, and made sure I felt comfortable. My cat seemed to like her a lot too :) I would highly recommend Sarai, she is a very trusted sitter for us.”

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs for over 5 years and truly enjoy giving them love and attention when their people are away. I’m dependable, gentle, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to help your pet feel at home. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, or extended visits throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I love having pet care as part of my daily rhythm. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their usual routines—whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or favorite nap spots. I respect your space, leave things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, cozy environment with lots of attention and affection so they feel right at home.

About: Hi there! I lost my baby girl 2 years and 5 months ago. I am not ready for another one, but need some doggie time. I’ve spent the last 3 years taking care of many different families doggies back in California. From pop ins for feeding and walks! To two weeks staying in their home for meals, walks, and snuggles! I find dog walking to be my hobby not a job! I am currently new to the area. With that being said I have tons of free time on my hands. I did just start a part time job. That only consist of 2-3 days a week for up to 5-6 hours a shift! I can be up early! And stay up late! Within my own home I make sure there is no escape routes, & nothing they can get into or that they can hurt themselves on. Your animal babies can expect lots of cuddles and safety from me!

About: Hi! I’m Nahir — originally from Argentina, now living in the U.S. working as an au pair. I grew up surrounded by animals and have lived with dogs my whole life. I even had a bunny when I was little (fluffy and full of attitude, of course). As I got older, I also fell in love with cats — when I moved out on my own, I adopted one who completely stole my heart. So now, I proudly identify as both a dog and cat person. I’ve done house sitting in the U.S. a few times and absolutely loved the experience. Right now, I can’t host pets where I live (I share the space with my host family, their kid, and two cats whom I adore!), but I love caring for animals in their own homes. I believe it’s important to respect their environment so they feel relaxed, safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, so I decided to do something I truly enjoy: caring for pets and meeting fellow animal lovers. I’m incredibly loving, detail-oriented, and dedicated. I always make sure your home stays just as you left it — or maybe even a little better. And when I say I love your pet, I mean it — I’ll remember their favorite toy, their walk routine, and the exact spot they like to be scratched. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your furry friends with kindness, joy, and tons of cuddles, I’d be so happy to meet you (and them)! Pet care fits into my routine really well. I work part-time as an au pair, which gives me flexibility, and I’m usually available in the mornings and after 3 PM most days. While my schedule may vary sometimes, I’m generally free during those times to take care of your pets and give them all the attention they need. I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s specific needs — whether it’s early walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles. I absolutely enjoy spending time with animals, so taking care of them feels more like a joy than a task. Plus, I’m available on weekends too, and I’m more than happy to stay at your home to ensure your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. I always take care of pets in their own home, since I currently live with my host family and can’t host animals myself. But honestly, I believe being in their familiar space is better for them — they feel more comfortable, safe, and relaxed. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their usual routines as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they’re fed at the right times, get their walks and playtime, and of course, lots of love and cuddles. I also like learning each pet’s little quirks — like their favorite nap spots or toys — so I can keep them happy and at ease while you’re away. I’m always respectful of your space and very detail-oriented. I make sure your home stays clean, organized, and just like you left it… or maybe even a little better!

Waikiki pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lyndi provided fantastic, reliable, loving care to our two cats while we were out of town. She even ensured they were okay under a tsunami warning. Mahalo nui loa, Lyndi. 🐾👍🐾👍

She’s amazing!! Always on time, sent the best kitty pics, my cat loved her! Would most def call her again when I’m in need of a pet sitter- highly recommend!

Riley was absolutely fantastic! She gave us detailed notes about her stops and shared lots of pictures for us. Millie seems to have enjoyed her stopping by as well. Thank you!

Olivia was quick to respond and able to come on very short notice when I was called into work. She was so sweet and I really appreciated her taking the time to meet with me virtually to go over my elderly dog’s needs. Olivia was great at communicating and even sent me videos of her bonding with my 2 cats and 2 dogs. Needless to say, the entire crew immediately approved of her! I would absolutely recommend Olivia to care for your pets needs!!! (:

Deanne was perfect for the job. My dog Mako is a bit reactive and has been scared since moving here but Deanne was so patient with him. Her communication skills were awesome as she kept me updated the entire time she was doing the drop in. If you’re in the Waikiki area, I recommend Deanne to take care of your pets!

Sydney is the best! She went above and beyond for my baby and took great care of my house too. Highly recommend booking with her!

Meg is fantastic, respectful, snd reliable! I am so grateful to have her to let my dogs out while I am not home. I’ve been able to rely on her multiple times. 100% would recommend her as a pet sitter!

LT went above and beyond to be able to care for my cat princess! She's excellent at communicating, personable, and resourceful!!! 10/10 Thank you so much!!!

Akane was a great catsitter! I received lots of news and pictures about the cats. She also reported on a plumbing problem which we were able to act on remotely.

Jamie was an awesome and exceeded my expectations for sure. I felt more relaxed knowing that she was caring for my adopted kitties.

We came back from our trip yesterday morning and both of the kitties are waiting by the front door for Janey to come back. I’m so glad she accepted our request because the care and love that Vasquez and Hicks received was phenomenal. Hicks can be pretty temperamental and I’m pretty sure he’s in love with her forever! I highly, highly recommend Janey and we’re already planning to book with again! <3

Andrea was great. She was able to get our shy kitty to come out of hiding and play and our kitties loved her.

Isabel is very responsible and very good at playing with cats. She sent me many photos including one with a high-jumping cat that I’ve never seen my cat do. My cats clearly enjoyed Isabel’s visits.

Sarah was awesome! Not only did she drop by to check on my cats food and cleaned her litter, but she also stayed and played with her to make sure she got her exercise and didn’t feel too lonely while we were away. She went above and beyond! Very trustworthy and awesome (with lots of cute pics from all of her visits). Would definitely recommend her to love and care for your amazing floofs when you’re torn away for work or fun!

We had Jessica watch our cat Blair for 10 days and she was amazing! She made sure to update us everyday and was very communicative through the entire time we were away. I highly recommend her!!

Sierra took great care of my cats and even got my very shy cat to come out -- not an easy task! Sierra was kind and easy to communicate with. My pets and home were just as I had left them. Would definitely recommend her and will surely book her again if I have future needs.

Ashley took great care of our golden retriever, Butterball, during consecutive drop-in visits! She made sure he got outside for a bathroom break, had his meal, and spent some quality time giving him the love and attention he craves. Butterball is a big sweetheart, and it was clear he was happy and well-cared for. We really appreciated the thoughtful updates and would absolutely trust Ashley again in the future!

Calvin was such an amazing dog walker for Mochi during the whole week when we needed him for an afternoon drop-in visit each day! He paid great attention to Mochi’s specific needs and Mochi looked forward to seeing him every day! Thank you Calvin!

Mike was truly exceptional! Our bulldog, Chapo, is very protective and not the easiest around strangers, but Mike was more than willing to help. He even went the extra mile by driving over for a meet-and-greet beforehand. His confidence and understanding of Chapo’s personality were immediately clear. While we were away, Mike went above and beyond by cleaning up a major accident as best as he could. We’re incredibly grateful that Chapo was in such capable hands, even with the challenges involved. Thank you so much!
