I’m currently doing online schooling toward becoming a veterinarian, which has given me even more knowledge and understanding of animal care. In my client’s home, I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their normal environment by following their usual routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off or if they need extra attention or comfort. I also make sure to keep everything clean and respected while I’m there, including food areas, water bowls, and litter boxes, and I always double-check doors and gates for safety. I clean and refresh water daily to ensure pets always have access to fresh, clean drinking water. Active dogs that need lots of engagement and exercise or dogs that just want to hang out and cuddle. I work primarily from home, have a safe and fenced yard. Our home is open with lots to explore or we can provide a safe, quiet space if your pet needs that. I have a safe, fenced yard they can run around in or if they would rather hang out with me, sit in my lap, lay in my bed. “Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog.
