He is a soft spoken gentleman who eventually got her to trust him enough to play with him, even though there were soft hisses of protest when he tried to pet her, she didn’t run away. So if she was truly upset she would have been gone. I’ll have him back for sure to keep an eye on her and her separation anxiety at bay.”

“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. Active dogs that need lots of engagement and exercise or dogs that just want to hang out and cuddle. I work primarily from home, have a safe and fenced yard. Our home is open with lots to explore or we can provide a safe, quiet space if your pet needs that. I have a safe, fenced yard they can run around in or if they would rather hang out with me, sit in my lap, lay in my bed. I walk multiple times a day and have nature and walking trails around my home. He didn’t even want to get back in the car when I came and got him (lol). He had a little injury on his tail that Kandra made sure was kept clean and bandaged. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have trained several of my own dogs myself. I don’t currently have a doggo, but I do have cats and have been missing having them around! I frequently take care of my mom’s senior dog who requires several meals and medications per day, as well as my dad’s dog who is 5 and on medication as well! My entire childhood I helped dog/cat sit, and since I work remotely from home, I figured I could get started again. (: I’m a full time mental health therapist/social worker, that works from home! I have sessions that last 50 minutes each, with 10 minute breaks in between throughout the most of the day, as well as an hour or two lunch break. Because of my frequent breaks, I’m able to give frequent potty breaks, as well as walks throughout the day! I live in a downstairs two bed, two bath apartment, with plenty of space for your pets! All pets are allowed on furniture and have free access to roam, or have space to be separated from my cats if that makes you feel more comfortable. I will work to create a space that makes you and your pet feel the most comfortable possible! I also am comfortable with crate training, potty pads/training, and any other behavioral problems that can arise.
