About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and passion for pet care comes from learning pet care from my dad who is police dog trainer. I currently work from home it's a flexible job so l would have plenty time for the pet. Also I would love to go out on walks. I have fenced yard where we can go out play, I have play toys, yummy treats for the fur babies. Also would love to go on walks. I do not take many pets in one service so I can provide more personalized services.

About: I've owned dogs for the past 20 years, first an Australian Shephard, then a yellow Lab. I've also cared for the dogs of friends and family. After the death of my most recent guy, Petey, I decided that I want the companionship of dogs without the vet bills$ I'm now retired from teaching and have all the time in the world to sit, walk, transport and care for dogs. I can accept dogs during the day or night, 7 days a week. Your dogs will be in an open setting in my home. I have a fenced yard so they can play. I live near a park and a riverfront, so long walks can be taken through natural settings. I accept only one or two dogs at a time, depending on the personality and behaviour of the dogs. I have a van that can transport dog to wherever they need to go.

“Jessica is amazing with our new puppy! She was able to accommodate us on short notice, which we really appreciated. She walked him, fed him, played with him, and even introduced him to other little puppies so he could socialize. She greeted me warmly and treated both of us with such kindness. Our pup came home happy and tired from all the fun. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Karen was a great help with Luna when I unexpectedly had to leave the dog home alone for a VERY long day. She came over to give her cuddle and pee breaks and a trip to Barkside, Luna’s home away from home. 💕 Even went the extra mile to clean up a little dog mess. Thanks!!!!!”

About: I’m currently a student and working from from home and love dogs to my core. I have a 5 year old toy poodle named Mason. He’s so sweet & playful and he’s always looking for another puppy to play with. I have had experience with dogs my entire life, but in college I decided to get one of my own and I have no regrets yet! I will make sure your pet receives endless love and affection, long walks, loads of fun and trips to the dog park to mix and mingle. Safety of your pet is my priority so there’s no need to worry while they’re under my watch. I understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust with your baby, so I will be sure to keep you updated throughout our day. I enjoy taking photos of my dog and nature so expect pictures updates as well. I am super flexible so for whatever you need, don’t hesitate to ask! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I’m available for daily walks, drop in visits and boarding. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to care for your pet and give them the attention they need throughout the day. I am very respectful of your space and your dog and their’s. Making sure only do what I am advised to and anything outside of that I’d check with the owner prior.

About: I have taken care of various types of dog babies across many states. I learn quickly about what a dog needs especially when factoring in weather. I work from home most days and run in the evening. Usually long distance runs are in the morning so not inconvenient for night stays. For my home, I have a very spacious dog park and closed in balcony. Also live close to the riverwalk for night walks. There is space in home for medium sized crates if necessary.

About: I’ve been a groomers assistant and bather at a grooming shop and doggie daycare for a few years in past and I have access to a dog bathing suite for $15 for the use and $25 per dog. Blow drying those furry friends coats out! :) I’ve been dog and house sitting for years and I have had a few dogs of my own. I get excited to see every dog and cat I meet, they really make my day. If you’re out of my walking radius and still would like me to care for your pets you can provide transportation fees then I’d be happy to accept the jobs if I’m available that are last minute when you can’t find someone else. This is my only job, caring for pets now. I have worked for over 30 years and I have found pet sitting to be the best retirement gig for my wellbeing. So I’m available quite a bit. I can walk dogs or do house visits for either cats or dogs. I can help with training if you have rules or something you’d like me to help with for your pets. I can also pick up an item you may need from premier pet shop.

“Jack was great. He watched my dog while we went to a concert at Ford Field. Very flexible with drop off and pick up time as we weren’t sure what time pick up time would be. Highly recommend him! Thanks Jack!”

“Awesome! He really helped me out when I was in a bind. Great with communication, following care instructions, and just being patient with my puppy. I will be sending Otis back to him when I need his help.”

About: Back again and ready to care for your pups like family! 🐾 I’ve had my own dog for 9 years—he’s off-leash trained, never needed a crate, and truly part of our home. I’m a lifelong dog lover, and now my 3-year-old daughter is following in my footsteps—she’s gentle, kind, and absolutely obsessed with dogs! At 29, I run my own business and keep a calm, organized home, perfect for pups who need love, attention, and a safe space to relax or play. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, or playtime, your dog will be treated like one of our own. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Dog care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! I work from home and run my own business, which means I have the flexibility to create my schedule around your pup’s needs—especially during the day. I’m a single mom, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, my daughter is with her dad, giving me extra time and quiet space to dedicate to dog care. While I’m usually busier on evenings and weekends, I’m super organized and manage my time well—so there’s always room for a four-legged guest! Whether it’s midweek cuddles, walks, or daytime hangs, I’ve got the time, love, and energy to give your dog a cozy home away from home. Safety and comfort are top priorities in my home. I have a fully fenced-in yard, giving dogs a secure space to play and explore freely. For pups who need a little extra caution, I also have an extended leash option—so they can still enjoy the outdoors without worry. I treat every dog with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. Whether they’re energetic or more reserved, I know how to tune in to their needs and make them feel safe, seen, and cared for. My home is a calm, dog-friendly space where your pup will feel right at home. 🐾

About: Need a house sitter, plant sitter, or pet sitter you can count on? Hi, I’m Madrona — a remote marketing professional with a flexible schedule, years of experience, and a serious soft spot for furry companions. Since my family (and their pets) no longer live nearby, I’m looking to spend more quality time with animals — whether that’s a quick walk, a drop-by visit, or a longer stay in your home while you’re away. I’m available for: • Overnight house and pet sitting (I’ll stay in your home and care for pets + plants) • Drop-ins and walks • Short-term or occasional care I’ve worked with pets who are reactive, anxious, on meds, or just need a little extra patience. I’ve also been the go-to sitter for everything from cats with attitude to senior dogs with complex routines. I treat every home and animal like my own — with care, consistency, and respect. Tabor, my sweet family dog, won’t be tagging along unless invited, but he’s why I do this. He taught me how much love and attention animals really need — and deserve. Let’s chat if you’re looking for someone kind, experienced, and reliable. Because I work remotely and make my own schedule, I have the flexibility to integrate pet care seamlessly into my day. Whether it’s morning walks, mid-day visits, or overnight stays, I can be fully present and consistent — no rushing between commitments or leaving pets alone for long stretches. I genuinely enjoy the quiet companionship animals bring, so spending time with them is never a chore — it’s something I look forward to. Whether I’m staying in your home or stopping by throughout the day, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, seen, and cared for the entire time you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping things as close to their usual routine as possible. That means sticking to feeding schedules, walk times, medication if needed, and any specific instructions you provide — all while giving them plenty of love, attention, and calm energy. I’m respectful of your space, tidy, and communicative, so you’ll always know how things are going while you’re away. For drop-ins or walks, I make sure each visit is intentional — not rushed. I give pets time to settle, play, get their energy out (or just relax), and always check on their water, food, and general well-being. If I’m doing overnight care, I work remotely from your home, so your pets get lots of company and consistency throughout the day — not just in the mornings and evenings. No matter the service, your pet’s comfort and safety come first.

About: Hi ! My name is Victoria and I am undoubtedly a pet lover. I am a local college student hoping to provide the best care to your pets as possible. I have been taking care of dogs and cats for most of my entire life. I am a Veterinary Assistant at a Veterinarian Hospital. I have knowledge of what to do in most cases with pets including the basics of walking and feeding the pet. I can also give injections to the pet or feed them medication. I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever who is full of energy, he loves accompanying me on long walks! Due to his energy level and age, we walk 2 miles a day. I look forward to meeting and take care of your pet. I am very accommodating when it comes to people schedules and preferences. I work a short schedule since I am a full time student 😊 I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch in my backyard or explore the park in my neighborhood! If there are any commands you are working on, I would love to help keep the training going while you are away. I have crates available if you are interested in learning how to crate train your fur baby! I currently work part time while attending school full time which means I’m available for all your dog/cat needs for any special events or last minute vacations! I will always love your pet just like they’re my own. I pay attention to small details and will continue to update you with pictures and videos.

“Lauren was great, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience. Lauren was so nice and professional, always punctual. Her rate is incredibly fair, too. And my dog, Fern, got two of her fave things while there: to sit with a human and to watch the neighborhood from a window. I now like Rover a lot more than transitional dog day care places, and most of that has to do with Lauren. Will definitely be back.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years, ranging from the typical fish, cat, and beloved Murphy, to include even a pet iguana (or two). 🥰 I have a fenced yard where both Murphy and your furry loved one can play and hang out. For overnight stays I have a large adult dog kennel that can accommodate a Mastiff just as comfortably as it can my Min Pin (who believes he’s the size of a Mastiff). 😄 I have an older dog with lots of energy and plays well with other dogs. I am an active person, so neighborhood walking is available for dogs with proper training. I can also provide some minor training reinforcement for puppies or young dogs learning new skills and/or tricks. 🐾 Tips are APPRECIATED!!! 🐾 I work from home! 🙌🏾 So my schedule is flexible and allows me to be able to work with and respond to clients in a timely manner. My home is fenced. All pets remain on the property unless they are taken for walks. I also will let clients know about overlaps in booking wih animals.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 18 years old. I’m a dog lover with a dog myself so I think I’m perfect for the job! I’m available all the time. I do work part time and I sometimes go out of town but otherwise I am free when you need me! I live in an apartment with a lot of grass area and multiple dog parks! I also have a dog bed for the puppies that stay!

About: I’ve grown up owning & taking care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fish etc. Ive dog sat and walked friends & neighbors dogs in the past. I work remotely and would love to have some quality time with the neighborhood dogs!! I work 9-5 out of my apartment and have plenty of down time during my day. I’d love to have a reason get outside more, go on walks and have some energy added to my work day. I have a 960 square foot fenced in backyard, I live in a very walkable and safe neighborhood (Woodbridge), I have one senior cat who loves to hang out with dogs.

About: I have taken care of every kind of animal: turtles, cats, dogs, bunnies, geckos, and more! I am comfortable with everything but snakes, and I can easily match their energy. I am great with puppy training, positive reinforcement, and respecting their boundaries and needs. Big dogs are my favorite I absolutely love spoiling them with pets and treats! I work from home full-time and live full-time in Detroit, so it is super easy for me to come to check in on your pets anytime. I can take them for a quick walk or spend a couple of hours keeping them company while I work. My work is calm and consistent that I can easily add things to my schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. In their home, I prioritize meeting their needs and respecting their boundaries. If they are shy or skittish, I will make sure to not get too close to them or move too quickly; if they're energetic and outgoing, I love playing with them and keeping them occupied so they're happy and well-behaved. For dog walks, I prefer to bring enough treats to give positive reinforcement and create a strong foundation for them to trust and feel comfortable with me. With cats, I usually set up and sit somewhere to let them get used to me and my smell so they can acclimate to me at their pace as well.

Madrona P.
“Madrona was amazing. From the moment she came by to meet Benny and Miso, we knew they’d be in good hands. Benny can be a lot. He’s high energy and a little anxious when we’re gone, but he clearly felt comfortable with her right away. Miso is usually so standoffish with new people, but by day two she was curled up next to Madrona like they’d been best friends for years. She kept us in the loop with sweet little updates and photos that made it so much easier to enjoy our time away without worrying. We came home to a clean house, a happy dog, and a very content cat. It’s obvious how much she cares, and it genuinely felt like she treated our pets like her own. We feel so lucky to have found her.”

Victoria H.
“She was an awesome sitter! She babysat my baby Leo and he came back more trained than ever! Usually Leo has troubles using the restroom in the house, but after Victoria watched him; he was trained!!
