11. Nikki M.
“Can’t say enough about how great Nikki was with our young golden retriever Mochi! This was the first time leaving Mochi alone after we adopted her during the pandemic. As pet parents we were very hesitant to have anyone new look after her while we were overseas. Nikki’s compassion, warmth, love, and patience was apparent from our first meet and greet. Mochi was house sat for two weeks and Nikki went to great extents to keep us in the loop about everything going on. In fact, Mochi became better at walks which we have Nikki to thank for. I did not feel stressed about Mochi’s safety, security, health, or happiness. Nikki showered Mochi with love and I know I will be reaching out again if I need to travel again. Do not have any hesitation in asking her to look after your pets. She will treat your pets as her own and ensure your pets’ routine is followed 100%. Gold star experience. Highly highly recommend!!!!”

12. Kayla E.
About: I’m currently a student and working from from home and love dogs to my core. I have a 5 year old toy poodle named Mason. He’s so sweet & playful and he’s always looking for another puppy to play with. I have had experience with dogs my entire life, but in college I decided to get one of my own and I have no regrets yet! I will make sure your pet receives endless love and affection, long walks, loads of fun and trips to the dog park to mix and mingle. Safety of your pet is my priority so there’s no need to worry while they’re under my watch. I understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust with your baby, so I will be sure to keep you updated throughout our day. I enjoy taking photos of my dog and nature so expect pictures updates as well. I am super flexible so for whatever you need, don’t hesitate to ask! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I’m available for daily walks, drop in visits and boarding. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to care for your pet and give them the attention they need throughout the day. I am very respectful of your space and your dog and their’s. Making sure only do what I am advised to and anything outside of that I’d check with the owner prior.

14. Donna B.

15. Jessica K.
About: I've been around dogs my whole life-my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mnom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding-whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

16. Raeshawn V.

“Raeshawn was amazing. I came to Detroit for NCAA game and she took Vella in for day care and was amazing with her. Walks and lots of interaction.”

17. Karen H.
“I have seen Karen taking in several pets over the years even with owning her own dog. She treats the animals as if they are people. Doesn't like leaving them alone too long if she runs errands. Always takes lots of walks, plenty of toys, and most of all snuggles. She is very trustworthy and I highly recommend her.”

18. Madrona P.
“I truly don’t know what I would have done without Madrona. My dog Milo has some pretty specific needs, both medical and emotional, and I’d been nervous to leave him in anyone else’s care. From the very first visit, she put both of us at ease. She took the time to understand his routine, his medications, and all the little things that help him feel safe. I came home to a happy, calm Milo, which never used to happen, and the regular updates gave me total peace of mind. Madrona is not only dependable—she’s incredibly kind, intuitive, and clearly loves what she does. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.”

19. Karley M.

“Karley was wonderful with my puppy Oliver. We had just adopted him a week before and needed someone to watch him for a day. I was really nervous about it because he’s still a puppy and we’ve never had to leave a puppy with someone else before. But Karley was so kind and kept me posted the whole time. When we came to pick Ollie up, he seemed to have had a very comfortable stay and felt safe with her. I 100% recommend reaching out to Karley if you’re in the Detroit area and need someone to watch your furbaby for you.”
