“Nicole has been absolutely incredible only after two weeks. My breed of dog takes time to adjust to new friends and family. Nicole has been able to patiently developed a bond to this point which we are confident will grow in time. This deserves mention and to be brought to the attention of others.”

“Priscilla was dependable, punctual, and responsive. Provided excellent care for my pup and sent detailed notes and pictures with each visit. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely book again/recommend.”

“We were a last minute booking Andria and she was so willing to help. Our cat can be shy and takes some time to warm up but from the pictures she provided showed she warmed up to her right away. We can’t thank Andria enough for her help and her care”

“This is the second time I leave Ruby with Yanci and honestly I’m so grateful to have found her ! Ruby is very special and needs certain needs during her feedings, Yanci followed each protocol with so much love and kindness ! Ruby got the right exercise , food and water that she needed ! We came back to see Ruby happy and cared for ! Would highly recommend !!

“Jennifer is an excellent sitter my dogs loved her and I am so grateful with the love that she took care of my fury kids , I would recommend her a thousand times.🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺”

“Kim was great! Followed instructions perfectly, kept us updated, and my pets got along great with her. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to book with her again.”

About: Been dog sitting and cat sitting for many years now for some family and friend’s whenever they’re out of town. So fairly comfortable with various breeds and all sizes of animals. Also happy to say that I am a doggie dad for my very own bulldog named Luna. She is 11 years old though everyone always tells me she looks younger. Shes very well taken care of and very loved, one would say that’s the best remedy for age. We usually take a hike in the mornings, and when she was younger used to go on runs. Oh I also love all animals though, and I would love to be of service to you. Well right now I’m currently in between things so I can be available at a moments notice no problem! Even on weekends and weekdays I can be available, overnight etc. As a dedicated dog sitter and walker, I understand the unique needs of your furry family member and how crucial it is to provide not only care but companionship in your absence. My services are designed to ensure that your dog remains happy, healthy, and engaged while you are away or busy.

About: I've shared my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and currently have a young puppy after recently saying goodbye to my two beloved senior Bulldogs. Caring for animals has always been part of my daily life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all ages and personalities. While I'm newer to formal pet sitting, I've cared for neighbors' dogs while they were traveling and understand how important consistency and trust are. As a registered nurse and self-employed professional, I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your home. My focus is on drop-in visits where I can provide companionship, fresh food and water, potty breaks, walks if requested, medication when appropriate, and lots of love and attention. As a self-employed entrepreneur, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable drop-in visits throughout the day. I can accommodate up to three visits daily for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of attention. At this time, I specialize in drop-in visits and am not available for overnight house sitting. our pet's safety and comfort are always my priority. Since I specialize in drop-in visits, your pet can remain relaxed in the familiar surroundings of your home and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, litter box care, or any special needs, and I'll always make sure your home is secure before I leave. You'll receive updates and photos after each visit so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I love animals! I have taken care of my 16 year old chihuahua since he was born. He’s my entire world. My family/ friends also rely on me to feed watch their fur babies and I always show up with a smile. I am currently a full time student with availability Friday-Sunday. Being around animals helps me calm down and I will make sure they feel the same way. I have a room full of toys and a crate to keep your dog entertained and safe. My neighborhood is very walkable so we will go on many walks.
“Xiomara was such a great pet sitter and checked in on my dogs and my friends dog. We really felt like we could trust her and she overly communicated and was flexible with some last minute changes!”

About: Hi, I’m Ari! ☺️ I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up loving and caring for all types of animals. My family owns a veterinary clinic in Puerto Rico, where I spent multiple summers assisting the team with vaccinations, blood transfusions, administering IV’s and surgery prep. I’ve also worked at multiple dog grooming and animal care facilities in the South Florida area giving me hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own, with lots of love, patience, attention, and care 🩷 I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your fur baby the attention and care they deserve! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 PM. I’m also happy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and other services around my schedule. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention! I have a fenced-in yard and a loving household where animals are truly considered family. My 15-year-old Yorkie was my best friend, and after giving her the happiest, most loving life I could, she passed away in March due to old age. She taught me so much about patience, companionship, and caring for an animal through every stage of life. I’ll treat your pet with that same love, patience, and attention while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and at home! I believe there’s something truly special about the unconditional love and loyalty animals give us.
About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of a veterinary magnet program where I earned my CVA certification and got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I spent around three years working in dog training as well. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which gave me experience helping animals with different personalities and needs adjust and feel comfortable. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave for me. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Virginia Gardens
Courtney has been the best to work with. She is extremely helpful and is always helping us out with Bear. I also love how attentive she is with my dog. I am always receiving many updates and messages from her! Bear is always so happy after visiting with Courtney, and is always excited to see her. Highly recommend her watching anyone’s animal!

Kristel was absolutely wonderful with my dog Pepper! Pepper can be quite stubborn and is usually hesitant around new people, but Kristel’s patience and genuine care completely won her over. From the very beginning, Kristel showered Pepper with love and attention, taking time to let her warm up and always making sure she felt comfortable. I received regular updates and adorable photos, and it was clear that Pepper was relaxed, happy, and truly in the best hands. When I returned home, Pepper was her usual cheerful self, maybe even a bit better behaved! I’m so grateful for Kristel’s dedication and kindness. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for your pup as much as you do! Thank you, Kristel, for taking such amazing care of Pepper!

I had a wonderful experience with José. He followed every instruction perfectly and was extremely professional throughout the entire stay. Communication was excellent, he always kept me updated and made me feel at ease while I was away. I would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
