I truly love animals, especially the snuggly ones! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny Chihuahuas to Great Danes and Bullies, and I love getting to know what makes each pet unique. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, including hypoallergenic and lower-allergen breeds. My daughter is allergic to cats, so I’m familiar with being thoughtful about allergy-friendly environments and routines. I have experience giving pets medication and following specific feeding and care instructions. I previously made homemade dog food for a Bully using organ meats, vegetables, and grains, so I’m very comfortable with special diets, meal preparation, and pets who need a little extra attention. Birds are close to my heart as well. I’ve cared for parrots and had my own cockatiel for 18 years. He lived to be 21 years old, so I understand the patience, consistency, and specialized care birds require. One important note: I have a severe flea allergy, so pets must be current on appropriate flea prevention before staying with me or receiving care in my home. Most of all, I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and spoiled while their people are away. Whether your pet wants walks and playtime or would rather curl up next to me for snuggles, I’m happy to follow their lead.

Nancy looked in on my elderly Chihuahua for a couple of years while I traveled out of town for work. My dog is very particular and normally does not like people, but she quickly learned to look forward to visits from “Aunt Nancy,” especially because she always brought the best treats! I always felt comfortable knowing she was being checked on and cared for while I was away.
Nancy is an amazing young lady who cares tremendously for everyone’s family member/Pets. She seems to always be available every time I’ve needed her to care for my boy Chester. She’s always very loving and caring for him and he just loves her to death. I highly recommend Nancy to anyone who wants to have their pet properly taken care of. I don’t know what I do without her. I even hired her to meal prep for him and he loves her food more than mine. Lol. I’m a very busy business owner and suddenly have time to take Chester for his proper walks. Nancy always comes in in a pinch to get him taken care of.

Schedule
I’m a self-employed single mom to a 13-year-old, so I have a flexible schedule and can easily work pet care into our daily routine. Animals are very therapeutic for both of us, and having them around feels natural and comforting in our home.

I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I keep the environment calm, clean, and comfortable, and I always take time to let pets adjust at their own pace. Safety is very important to me, so I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, food restrictions, and anything else specific to your pet. I also believe in good communication and will keep you updated so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is being well cared for.
A typical day
A typical day depends on your pet’s personality and routine. I enjoy walks, playtime, enrichment, treats, and plenty of cuddles for the pets who love to snuggle. I’m also happy to spend quiet time with older, shy, or lower-energy pets. I follow each pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they’re used to while you’re away.
