Achilles can sometimes look intimidating to people, but she welcomed him without hesitation and handled him very well. When I picked him up he looked happy, calm, and well taken care of. Ever since I was a child, I would feed any cat I would see on the street and check up on them for as long as I could. We have one cat thats about a year and a half that I rescued at a park. Recently, we adopted a kitten from the shelter that was unfortunately underweight and we had to spend days trying to get her to eat and making all sorts of meals from scratch for her. Unfortunately, she was admitted into the hospital and did not make it even with the most extreme medical care. From then on we decided to be more proactive when It comes to animals in need and will do everything in our power to take care of our furry friends.

I’m very active, so I love to go on walks and runs with my dogs. I am a student, but my schedule is mostly flexible. I do spend some time at home and the time I’m not home, I’m in class. The weekends are free for me. I live in a pet-loving home, so there is no stress having a guest over! Dogs can be in their cage or if it is more comfortable to be without a cage that is perfectly fine as well. I also have the option of boarding or day care without my dogs.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and was always the one in my family caring for them. I currently have two sweet boys of my own, both 8 years old. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian; a reflection of just how much I’ve always cared for animals, but life had other plans and I proudly joined the service, where I’ve been serving for 13 years. Being in a new city away from family can get lonely, and I can’t think of a better way to feel at home than spending time with furry companions. I’d love the opportunity to provide your pets with the same care, love, and attention I give my own. Weekends work best for me when it comes to pet care since I work throughout the week. That said, I can still accommodate weekday care for emergencies or last-minute needs. I’ll just need to adjust my schedule. I try to stay as flexible as possible so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. I’m very attentive to my dogs and I take the same approach with every pet I care for. I know each animal has their own unique habits and personality, so please let me know anything special about your pet. I’ll make sure to keep their routine consistent. My dogs are small, so I take them on multiple short walks throughout the day to keep them happy and exercised. At home, they stay in a gated area in my bedroom while I’m at work, and at night they sleep with me. If you’d prefer your pet to sleep freely, I’m happy to allow that, but if your pet is crate-trained and you’d like me to maintain that routine, I completely understand. My goal is always to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and cared for the same way you would.
About: I love animals! I have taken care of my 16 year old chihuahua since he was born. He’s my entire world. My family/ friends also rely on me to feed watch their fur babies and I always show up with a smile. I am currently a full time student with availability Friday-Sunday. Being around animals helps me calm down and I will make sure they feel the same way. I have a room full of toys and a crate to keep your dog entertained and safe. My neighborhood is very walkable so we will go on many walks.
About: I have been working as a vet tech for the last 6 years and I love providing the proper care and love for your fur babies! I am able to provide your fur baby afternoon and evening walks and stop by on the weekends if needed for additional love and care! I am able to stop by your house and stay for an extended amount of hours and provide care for your fur babies and give them lots of love!
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was a child, and they’ve always been a big part of my family. Over the years, friends, family, and even people I didn’t know at first have trusted me with their pets after hearing about me through others. Taking care of animals truly brings me joy, and I love making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and, of course, get plenty of love and cuddles! My schedule is very flexible. I've time to take care of your pets whenever you need it. I'm always available during week days and some weekends I have many things to play with them, your pet will never be bored! I will always follow the instructions given on how to feed your pet and each of them will have a container to eat in the case is needed it. In any case, if there is any other specific instruction for your pet needs please let me know in advance.
About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.
About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of the Veterinary Science Magnet Program at Felix Varela, where I earned my CVA certification and studied veterinary science and animal care. I also spent around three years training dogs through the program. During my senior year, I completed an internship at a veterinary clinic, where I got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I fostered throughout high school and for a while after, which gave me experience caring for pets with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions provided by their owner. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications, leash safety, doors and gates, and any behavioral or medical concerns. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, and I make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.
About: I've been a dog owner for my entire life and have learned how to care for them in a way that best supports their needs and happiness. Not all dogs are created equal which means not all of them have the same needs and I understand that as a dog owner myself. I have experience taking dogs on walks, bathing them, playing with them, feeding them to meet their individual dietary needs, and responding to their body language to better help make them comfortable. As a dog owner, this is a role I have taken on from a very young age. Besides being a dog owner myself, I've provided pet care for family members pets of all ages and sizes! I see dogs as part of the family and understand they need love, care, and attention! I am available to care for pets throughout the week and the weekend. Whether you need a pet sitter to walk your dog in the middle of your work day or while you're on a day trip on a weekend! I care for pets in your home by staying as close to their routine as possible so that trust can be built with them and me.
