About: I’ve cared for my Australian Shepherd for over 9 years, helping him thrive into seniorhood with daily enrichment, joint care, and gentle exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, supporting older dogs, and reading animal body language. I treat every pet like family—attentive, calm, and tuned in to their unique needs I am currently open to most hours, I am in between jobs, and attempting to supplement my search with income in alternative manners so I am available during most weekdays and weekends, and on a case-by-case basis can work with you and your needs I have a shared fenced yard and live in the basement unit of a single family home. I have a 11 year old Australian Shepherd, who is polite, loves being involved with others. He is slow to react to hostility, meaning he can take a lot of nonsense, but he knows how to tell the kids to slow down. He also is anti conflict and loves to make sure everyone is safe.

“Our pup came home so happy and tired after daycare with Darlayna. They went for lots of walks, swimming no, bike rides, all of the things! By just the second day of daycare our dog was running to her front door, ready to go play… a much better option than coming home to a bored dog. At the end of the day she was happy and safe which is the most important part, we will definitely be seeing Darlayna again. 😊”

“Cinthia was an incredible sitter for our senior dog. I highly recommend her care. She is so sweet and caring and could tell immediately that my dog would be in good hands. My dog needed extra TLC being 17 years old and it was a huge relief to know that he was being well taken care of. Would absolutely recommend her!”

I appreciated his questions, clear communication and interest in getting to know my gentle giant from the initial meet and greet. About: I have been taking care of pets since my childhood, as my family always had dogs, cats, and reptiles. I even had a bunny and a hedgehog at one point, which you don’t see very often. I have seen a large variety of personality and needs from all of the pets I have owned, as well as pets of family and friends who have needed assistance with care when they are away. I have experience with anxious animals, reactive animals, etc. so I am very aware of different stressors for pets, and want to make sure I give them the best experience in my care. I am currently working full-time from home, so I am fully available for pet care after work around 5pm. Because I work from home I am more flexible if I need to step out at times throughout the day to provide drop in pet care services. I can even bring my work with me if of course more time permits to a certain caregiving job. I prioritize your pet’s safety by keeping your dog on leash at all times during walks and being aware of my surroundings while on walks. It is important for me to be notified of any behavior issues before working with your animal to keep your animal, other people/animals, and myself safe. Whether I am caring for your pet in home or out for a walk, I will always make sure your animal feels safe and comfortable to the best of my ability.

About: I signed up for Rover last year after my 12 year old German Shepard dog passed away. I needed to be around dogs but I was not ready to adopt one. This past May, we adopted a rescue dog. Zoey is a mix who was a rescue through Washington German Shephard rescue organization. She is a wonderful dog; we are very lucky. I do still miss dog sitting for other's people's dogs. I enjoyed all the different breeds and personalities. I would like to continue either boarding in my house or in the pet person's house. My partner and I both grew up with dogs and will treat them like our own. I am now retired and I am home most of the time. I am retired and will have plenty of time for your fur baby. I go for a long walks every morning and night and would love to have your dog to accompany me. My backyard is fully fenced. I can feed your pet on any schedule. I am available to take your dog on many walks and also let out into the backyard.

RaeAnne R.Star Sitter
“RaeAnne took care of my chocolate lab puppy, Aurora for a week while I went on vacation, and provided an amazing home filled with love, walks, and cuddles for my puppy. This was the first time I’ve had anyone watch my dog, and RaeAnne made me feel so comfortable and secure that my dog was being well taken care of. She did so by sending me updates via text with photos, and stories about their time together. It helped immensely having good communication followed by photos so that I could really just enjoy my vacation and not worry about the well being of my puppy. When we picked Aurora up, she was excited to see us but we could also tell that she was a little sad leaving RaeAnne’s house and their routine together. I will only use RaeAnne for all future dog sitting needs as Aurora bonded strongly with her and felt loved and cared for while not with her owners!”
