“Wendy did drop in visits with our kitty Loki while we were on a Cruise. She fed, medicated, scooped litter and gave pets! Very reliable and we loved the daily updates and pictures with River.com. Highly recommend Wendy!”

“Madelyn is awesome. She house sit our cat for two weeks while we were out of the country. She is very responsible and has great communication skills. We have a somewhat unique cat with quite the personality. She chooses who she want to befriend. From the very first meeting with Madelyn, our cat took right to her. I was very confident in leaving Bella with Madelyn for the entire 2 weeks. And it was such a pleasant experience to come home to a very clean house. Well appreciated by two exhausted travelers. I recommend Madelyn to anyone searching for pet care. We will definitely use her again.”

“Sarah was responsive, thorough and kind! We could not ask for a more responsible pet sitter! She did a great job, and we absolutely plan to re-book for more drop in visits very soon! Thank you, Sarah!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was little. I have helped family and friends take care of their pets when they are out of town. I am a stay at home mom so this gives me plenty of time to care for your pets when you are out of town. To ensure your pet is safe and will not escape and well taken care of I would make sure fence gates and or house doors are shut and locked

About: I have a pretty flexible schedule, and have experience with all sorts of animals and as long as you teach me I'm fine with pets who need meds, or have special diets. I have 2 dogs at home, and 1 cat and i have experience with other animals too. I am licensed so transportation isn't an issue. I'm just trying to earn a little extra cash while going to school, and I love animals so being able to spend time with pets makes me happy. I am 23 years old. I do school online and work from home, so schedule is pretty flexible! Only times I’m gone is for about a 3 hour period student teaching. I try to treat them as my own, I’m a big animal lover so I’ll do everything in my capacity to make sure your pet is loved and comfortable while your away.

“Schellene was reliable and has an understanding of cats, especially our shy kitty. She sent us photos and notes to keep us informed of our cat's progress. I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

“During 2 meet & greet sessions, Jennifer and Brian were very attentive and receptive to my dogs' care details. They have spent time with my extremely rambunctious Golden Retriever (and his well-behaved older brother) and handled him with grace. I look forward to a 2-week vacation soon knowing that my fur babies are in good hands. Thank you Jennifer & Brian!”

About: Since I could open my eyes, there has been a dog in front of them. Growing up, my family bred and raised AKC yellow labs. I also worked for a horse/dog breeder, helping take care and market Aussie puppies. I also have experience with senior dogs. My senior lab lost all function in his hind end towards the end of his life and I was his primary care giver. Senior care was the hardest and most fulfilling job I’ve had. I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician and I have been working in a clinic setting for almost a year now. I am taking a break from the clinic to focus on school and enjoy my summer. Send your furry friends my way!❤️🐾 I’m doing some other little side jobs but I am free otherwise. I have school that I need to attend to daily. I was working at a veterinary clinic but I am now taking a break to focus on school and enjoy the summer. I am also offering nail trims for an extra charge ;) I have two dogs at my house that are not friendly to other dogs. This means that I will be strictly keeping dogs at owners houses, streets, towns, etc. and there will be no chance of interaction between my dogs and any other dogs ☺️

“Michael took great care of my 3 kitties while I was away. They spread litter everywhere and Michael was great about keeping it cleaned up. He sent photos evey day as well. I will definately ask him to watch them again if the need arises.”

About: I love dogs. My husband and I are empty nesters. We have a labradoodle and no cats. I work remotely at home and in the veterinary field. I currently work full time but have a home office and work from my home and have a flexible schedule. Your dog will have lots of attention. I have a large fenced in yard. We have a 9 year old neutered male Labradoodle, Charlie. Lots of dog toys and treats to share.

“Mila was punctual, responsible and took good care of our “furbabies”. She actually went above and beyond and watered our flowers ? for us while we were on vacation as well. It was such a relief to know I didn’t have to worry about my kitties while being gone and that they were in great hands. She communicated well daily and just did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend her ??”

“Heather was so helpful during an emergency situation where my last sitter canceled the day I left before an international trip. Heather was patient, communicative, and even went to the store to get more food when an unexpected rodent problem left Terra without enough for the week. My home was clean and ready for me to arrive which was such a relief after such a stressful situation. I would definitely have Heather back. Thank you so much!”

About: My name is Alexandria, or Alex. I currently work full time at a animal hospital as a vet assistant. In the past I have worked for the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. I am a HUGE animal lover and would love to spend more time walking/pet sitting animals. I also have my license and a car. I enjoy spending time outdoors and am a natural resources + forestry graduate so I have rain gear and would love to walk your dog rain or shine! Growing up, I've always had dogs, cats, chickens and fish! I dog/house sit for all of my family members and their friends. Whether you're looking for someone to cuddle up with your dogs or someone to take them hiking, running or to the dog park, I am more than happy to! Why I love dog sitting I love dogs and being outside. I've had experience with all dog breeds. I have also had experience with different age groups, from puppies to seniors. I have experience administering medication, mainly orally whether it be a pill by hand or liquid. And doing injections like for diabetes and doing fluids subcutaneously. I can also take care of household chores, mail, garbage, plants, pool, hot tub, etc. I am able to board dogs that aren't fixed at my house. I work 4 8-10 hour days during the week, but for sure have weekends and holidays off to fully take care of your pet(s). I get one day off a week as well. My boyfriend also always has Fridays off and is great with animals. They often love him more than me! We both love animals and they are always treated like a family member. I live on 10 acres in Colton, so I have a great area for your dog to run around. The property is mostly fenced, but a dog that likes to run off can easily escape if they wanted to. I don't let dogs outside unsupervised though, especially after dark.

About: I’m a professional pet sitter. I have experience with a variety of species, including dogs, cats, fish, and chickens. I grew up with big dogs. I started pet-sitting almost ten years ago. I’ve slowly grown my business to be able to offer services in a limited range outside of the greater SE Portland metro area. Outside of pet care, I work part-time, so I am able to spend most of the day with your pets. I usually have my calendar updated 2-3 months in advance. All of my house-sitting bookings include complimentary light housekeeping. My favorite aspect of animal care is bonding and learning to communicate with each individual. Looking for an experienced sitter with a flexible schedule? Look no further. I'm available to attend to your animals' every need. I would love to hear more about your pet's needs and routine. I value safety and I understand the importance of keeping your pets safe. When working with new animals, I like to begin by providing food or treats. This tends to soothe temperaments. If I'm just meeting the animal, I will talk to them softly while they eat. After they eat, I make sure they have access to the bathroom. When working with a new dog, I am conscious of my movements. I try to encourage play and interaction without making the animal feel trapped or cornered. Before leaving a client's home, I double-check that the animals are taken care of, the stove is off, and the doors are locked.

About: I've taken care of dogs through all stages of life. I love engaging dogs and learn what they love most. I have a 5 year old blue heeler that I've taught over 15 commands. My family, friends and neighbors have not not only trusted me with their dogs, but with caring for their cats, birds, bunnies, horses, and chickens. I'm available on Saturdays and Sundays for house sitting, check ins, walking, bathing, etc. On the weekdays I can do early morning check ins before 7am or evening check ins after 6pm. I have a fenced yard on 4 acres of property. Plenty of room for active dogs. I do have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 6 chickens.

Alexandria S.

“I was in a bit of a bind. I had a relative pass away not to long ago, and I needed to leave town for the better part of a week on pretty short notice, and I knew I couldn't bring my lab, Roxy. As soon as I met Alexandria I knew she was perfect for my dog, the chemistry was obvious. Roxy got excited even while she was walking up, and Alex couldn't take her eyes off her. We talked for a little bit, her and I, and Roxy nuzzled right up to her. Alex seemed like a real straight shooter, and though like any pet owner I was worried to leave her with a stranger, I took a leap of faith, and I'll never regret it. I came home to Roxy seeming to like Alex more than myself, and it was almost hard to separate the two when the time came. I definitely recommend Alex very highly to all my pet owning friends. ”

Erica S.
“A couple of months ago I went on a 7 day vacation and left my dog with Erica at her house. I left him with a bag full of his favorite toys, treats and food along with his dog bed. Throughout my trip she sent me photos of him on leash walks on her farm and pictures of him trying out some her dogs chew toys. My dog barely even wanted to leave when I came to pick him up. She had someone with him 24/7 and took him out frequently on her farm with her own dog. She even mentioned that my dog was more comfortable in her room during bed time on some blankets rather than his bed, so she made a nice sleeping space that he was happy in so that he could sleep with her. I was also impressed to discover that my (rescued) dog who had known no tricks, does know tricks in Spanish and that Erica discovered this when bonding with him. Erica will be the only person I ask to watch my dog on vacations going forward, she did such a great job and was so attentive that I had no hesitation volunteering to review her new pet sitting service profile.”
