“I would totally book again with bonnie she was so flexible with me! I felt so secure with leaving my baby here she never complained about anything my dog did like most other pet sitters I had before which really made me feel at peace!”

“I could not have asked for a better family to watch my dog! Samantha and Brian were so kind and accommodating with my older dog! My dog had some issues initially acclimating to the new environment and they went above and beyond to make him feel at home. To the extent that Brian slept in the living room with him, where my dog felt most comfortable. Their children and their pup were wonderful with him as well! The family even accommodated me picking my dog up a night early since our holiday plans changed. This family really was a blessing when we needed to leave our dog for the holidays! Thank you again!!”

“Jean is an outstanding sitter. Everything from the meet and greet to picking my dog Layla up in the morning went phenomenal. Excellent communication, very friendly, overall wonderful place for my pup to stay with plenty of room to play around and or relax, and very considerate sending plenty of updates throughout the day to make me feel more comfortable! I would highly recommend!”

“We are so sad to leave Nadine! Axel loves her and her crew and cannot recommend her enough to folks! Your animals will be loved on and taken care of. We will miss you so much!”

“Melodie was wonderful with our dog Charlie! I really appreciated that she first asked for a meet and great with Charlie, to allow him to visit her home and make a small bond prior to the stay. So when I brought him over for the stay he was already familiar with the home and went on his marry way with no anxiety. Melodie took great care of him and sent many pictures with updates! :) Thank you so much!! Will be re-booking with her in the future :)”

“Diana did a great job of caring for my dog while I was on a long trip! She was happy when I returned, and I could tell she had been well-cared-for. She sent me plenty of picture updates of the adventures they went on while I was away.”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our girl with anyone so we were very nervous on how it would go! Nancy was so reassuring that Paisley would do well. She sent us pictures to keep us updated on how she was doing. Paisley came home one happy girl! We are so thankful to have found Nancy and highly recommend her!! We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Elizabeth and Sterling were fantastic. I booked last minute without much time for a meet and greet, and not only did they oblige and still meet same day, they made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Their dog Lilo is such a sweetheart as well! They provided updates and exercise and I knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you so much for your great care! And I'm sorry again for the late plane arrival on my return!”

“Sue was amazing. I have a very spoiled, high energy pup that never slows down. She's always up to something. Sue sent updates and pictures several times a day. Cocoa was very happy when we got home.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Once again, Oliver had a great time and was so well taken care of. The day before our trip, Ollie had an issue with his foot and was put on several medications. Stephen's wife, Connie, made a meds chart to ensure that every dose was given on time. That wasn't something we had planned for, but they were so great about it. That really allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. Thanks so much, Stephen and Connie!”

“Kelsi was EXCELLENT. She very responsive with communication and loved her pictures and updates. Leaving a young pup with her felt like a lot to take on but she seemed very willing and capable! Sounds like they had a wonderful time together. I will definitely use Kelsi again in the future!”

“Veronica was great with our two dogs. She has a calming manner and our nervous border collie when away from home appeared totally at ease in the sweet photos that she sent us. And I’m sure our husky enjoyed playing with her huskies. They all made a good pack. 😊”

“Kesia helped make the process so much easier considering it being our first time leaving the pup. I was grateful for the constant updates and felt safe knowing Hazel was in good hands :)”

“Lisa, Manuel and their family did a great job cating for my 15.5 year old dog. We were worried about leaving her, due to her age and quirks but Lisa and Manuel did a great job with her. They even got her supplements to her and worked with her quirks. It was comforting to know she was in a home environment and got to enjoy a big backyard and hang out in a family setting opposed to a big dog hotel style place. We'd definitely reccomend them!”

“I left my 2 rescues with Julie for a week, and had never been away from them that long. It was clear from the start that all was going great! Julie is caring, conscientious and knowledgeable on caring for pups. It was such a relief to know they were with Julie!”

“Love love love it all that they provided to our Tofu❤️Absolutely recommend Linda and her family hosting your fur babies. Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”

“Tammy did a wonderful job taking care of my Shih Tzhu. She is caring, prompt with communication, and went above and beyond (even bathing my dog before pickup). I highly recommend her!”

“Margaret is fantastic with my puppy! Always right on time for the check-in and sends the CUTEST photos with a detailed update. It really put my mind at ease knowing my pup was in good hands while I’m at work. Highly professional and clearly a dog lover—I’ll definitely be booking them again!!”

“Sydney was great during an overnight stay with our cat! She was attentive and I could tell she was really looking out for his needs. When he became a bit antisocial and cried during the night, Sydney didn’t hesitate to reach out and see if there was anything else she could do to make him feel comfortable. Her energy definitely aligned with our cat’s and he got along with her great. Thanks Sydney!”

“Tiana is a treasure! We had an unexpected need for a pet sitter (both dog and cat) and I was thrilled that Tiana was available. She had cared for our pets previously, and did an “above and beyond” level of care for our pets again! We are so grateful - it gave us peace of mind that she was on the job. Thank you, Tiana!”

“This was our second time booking with Maleny and she is amazing. It is hard to leave our cats at home but it makes it easier knowing someone is going to come care for them and make sure they are well. She is amazing with photos and updates on each of my checklist items. She is diligent about the house as well and I couldn’t be more grateful!”

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with cats and their kittens as a child, and have always bonded closely with them. I adopted My Own Cat promptly upon turning 18 (in 2002); Khaki was with me for 18 years, outliving his adopted brother Leo (my sister’s cat), who ended up living with me as well. I’ve also cared for my exes cat (Alli), and my son’s first cat (Lady Grey), and my current grand cats, Cas and Zizi. I am comfortable with litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. I have experience helping cats with ear, eye, gastrointestinal, and kidney problems. I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family, and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands!
“Amir took great care of our cats and cow while we were away on our trip to Seattle! He was super detailed and asked a lot of great questions during the meet and greet to make sure he was prepared. He was super punctual and took great care of our animals! We will definitely use him again in the future when we need to! Highly recommend!”

“Kaitlin was so helpful and communicative, it was great having her care for my elderly cat. She helped me out with a last minute change, and was very easy to work with.”

About: My first pet ever was a cat named Tiger who looked more like a cow, white with large black spots. My sister called her Moo Moo Kitty. I was a child then though. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.
“Bobbi is fantastic! She’s great with our 3 dogs. One of them can be cantankerous and she was able to win him over no problem. We love the peace of mind we have knowing that she’ll drop in and let our pups play when we have long work days.”

“Tyler took excellent care of our senior cat while we were out of town. Our cat seemed to really like him and was happy to have a snuggle partner while we were gone. Tyler sent us pics of them cuddling which was nice. I didn't worry about my cat being lonely or stressed while we were gone. We also found Tyler to be friendly, considerate and tidy. I would recommend his services to my friends and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.
“Remi had the best first day of doggie daycare with Cassie. She came home exhausted and from all the pictures/updates I can tell she had a blast! With it being her first time at daycare, Cassie was great about slowly introducing her and making adjustments based on how Remi was doing. Cassie was professional and quick to respond to messages during setup and during the day. We look forward to booking another daycare day again soon!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelsi! From day one, it was clear how genuinely caring, patient, and attentive she is with my puppy Lucy. She treats her like her own, making sure she’s safe, happy, well-exercised, and loved. I always receive great updates and photos, which gives me total peace of mind knowing Lucy is in such good hands. Her reliability, communication, and obvious love for dogs truly sets her apart. I am so grateful to have found someone I trust completely and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog—especially puppies!”

“Veronica took excellent care of our 13.5 year old Penny Lane. She took her on a walk with her pups and sent multiple photos throughout the day which we so appreciated. Veronica is a conscientious person who understands dog behavior. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Veronica to look after Penny Lane again in the future. Thank you, Veronica!”

“Mark is so great! My dog has severe anxiety and separation anxiety, so I'm always worried about having people watch her since I know the type can very difficult for people to handle. I explained my dogs issues with Mark and did a meet and greet, he was very friendly and more than happy to accommodate my sweet dog. Apparently she did very well and they went on some great walkies. :)”

“Rebecca was professional and asked questions to make sure she provided the best care for our dog. She gave us photo updates on how he was doing. Overall, we are pleased with the service. We would have her watch our fur baby again.”
About: I grew up in a house filled with many family dogs of all different shapes, sizes and backgrounds. My grandparent raised me and I helped her look after all of her various animals from a very young age. I had my own Bernese Mt Dog Freya until November 2023, she lived until she was 12.5 years young which was an amazing achievement for her breed, she was the love of my life and hanging out with her was my all time favourite thing to do. I have always been the go to dog sitter for all of my friends and family since I was a teenager, I like to be around dogs as much as possible because they bring so much joy to each day, I have also worked with local dog shelters fostering & walking dogs. When a dog is in my care, they will receive unique care and attention based on their needs, I truly look forward to hanging out with your pup! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, I can adjust and accommodate to a dog's specific care needs. I take daily walks with or without a pup in my care but a pup always makes the walk more fun and exciting! My home is set up for dogs due to having my own large dog for the last 10 years as well as many other dog visitors over the years, I live very near to a fantastic park and enjoy walks with pups.

“Melba stayed here while we went to a show at the Edgefield Amphitheater. Gary and Carol had no problem with our late pick up, and they sent updates and pictures. Everything was easy and smooth. We wouldn't hesitate to have Gary and Carol dogsit again if we come back to this area!”

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.
“It’s clear that Christopher and his family genuinely love dogs! He is easygoing, an excellent communicator, and incredibly accommodating. Mason felt comfortable right away and absolutely loves going to doggy daycare at Christopher’s. We have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands.”

“Jill was wonderful! Super easy drop off and pickup for our day trip to Willamette. We felt comfortable leaving our dog with her. Riley was happy and tired when she finished her visit. Thank you, Jill!”

“Another awesome day with Damon and his doggos. Uki always leaves so tired and happy. She’s still tired the next day and has really blossomed in her social skills.”

“From the beginning, very responsive and helpful! They were able to handle my high anxiety dog and didn’t get annoyed by the overly long explanation I had about his dogality. Followed up with pictures and updates and my dogs had a blast! Highly recommend Cass and Trevor for dog sitting.”

About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. I currently am only working/unavailable late Saturday and Sunday nights, and am extremely active during the week. I have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about, and also have my own set of everything (leashes, crate, toys, beds, etc) if need be.

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.
About: *In the Summer if you want me to Pet Sit for you, be willing to accommodate my Husky. He is well trained, tears up nothing, is completely potty trained, gets along with dogs and cats. He may look scary at first but grows on you quick, once you learn he won't hurt you. He has helped me teach other dogs who don't like new dogs how to befriend a stranger. He can easily stay in a room separate from your pets, even a bathroom, he isn't picky, he just likes A/C. I never leave him alone with pets, even if they get along. He enjoys walking with other dogs and makes a great playmate.* Hello I go by Bo, and I'm Your Friendly Neighborhood Dog Whisperer! That's YFNHDW on IG for videos of my walks and Sittings. I have been doing this for 3 years now, mostly on Wag but I'm looking to use mostly Rover now after Wag changed ownership. I have been ranked Top Pet Caregiver for most of my 3 years on Wag, and I'm a Certified Training Provider for Wag as well. I have over 300 (5 Star Reviews) on Wag alone, and many references from my own personal clients as well. I have done close to 20 Sittings now, most of them repeat clients. *Old Profile Post if you care to read it* I'm only 33 so not quite Cesar Millan yet, but I'm getting there and have always been a natural with animals...it's as if I can feel their thoughts:-) I grew up with Cats + Dogs, but as an adult I raised a Red Nose Pitbull from 9 Weeks to 3 Years old all on my own, never neutered him and still he was great with all dogs and humans. I had actually trained him to be my Service Dog. I have been a Wag Walker for 3 going on 4 weeks now, and have already been ranked Top Caregiver and in High Demand...with 37 (5 Star Reviews) so far! (Update: Over 100 Walks and 3 Sittings as of 12/28/24) From Camas to Lake Oswego and Aurora, I have been in some wealthy homes all alone, so I can assure you I'm as Trustworthy as they come :-) Google says Wag is more for Walking and Rover is more for Sitting, so that's why I'm here too now. I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a House and start Boarding. (Update: I just got a room in a house in West Linn, I may be able to Board in the near future). P.S. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety. I'm a Full-Time Walker/Trainer already, I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a house and start Boarding as well :-) Fur Babies won't be left alone longer than 4 hours, 2 hours if requested. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety, but I have also already been in many wealthy homes all alone; from Camas, West Linn and Lake Oswego to Aurora. I assure you I'm as Honest and Trustworthy as they come. As far as taking care of your Fur Babies, I will treat them like my own...but with even more caution because I'm responsible for someone else's lol.
About: I've had the privilege of caring for dogs for over a decade. I have experience administering medication, walking, cleaning and playing with puppies and middle age dogs. I am a full time artist with quite an open and flexible schedule. I am available during the day during the week and flexible during weekends. I love playing and spending time with my own cat, catering to her needs and spending time together. I have no issue crating other's dogs if asked.
“Bobbi is totally a dog person. She’s really good at reading their behaviors and working with them. My Zoey dog loves her. Bobbi went above and beyond taking care of my dog while I was on vacation. I highly recommend Bobbi for you dog person.”

About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has owned dogs since I was about 6 and cats since before I was born. Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. I know that every dogs has its own special needs, and I will always make it my priority to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you are away. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with the pets in my care. While I will need to leave for a few hours during the day, I make taking care of your pets my priority. On most work days I am able to stop by during my lunch break and check on pets, let them outside, take them for a short walk, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm routine, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.

“I would totally book again with bonnie she was so flexible with me! I felt so secure with leaving my baby here she never complained about anything my dog did like most other pet sitters I had before which really made me feel at peace!”

“Diana did a great job of caring for my dog while I was on a long trip! She was happy when I returned, and I could tell she had been well-cared-for. She sent me plenty of picture updates of the adventures they went on while I was away.”

“Shelly was wonderful with my dog and made sure my dog was comfortable on the noisy 4th of July. She has a wonderful, air conditioned area for the oversized dog kennels and an indoor play area. She's responsive and provides good communication. Will definitely book with Shelly again.”

“Leslie’s home was a great Home away from home for our dog! She provided lots of care, updates, and home made treats. Our dog was completely comfortable in her home, which has a large fenced in backyard and lots of places to rest and snuggle!”

“Our dog Phil loves spending time at Cassandra’s! We received daily/every other day pictures and updates on how Phil was doing. Very appreciated to know that our pup was being taken care of so well ❤️”

“This was Shuri's first time being boarded in a while and Michelle made sure she felt safe and slowly introduced her to other dogs so she wouldn't feel overwhelmed. She also sent regular pictures and updates which was great! Shuri came back happy and got to socialize safely and use the climbs in Michelle's yard (Shuri loves climbs). Thank you, Michelle, I'm sure Shuri is going to be happy to stay with you again in the future!”

“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

“Our dog had a great stay with Gary and Carol. Our pup fit in with their household right away, it's so nice knowing she was in great hands while we were away. Drop off and pick up were a breeze, and we appreciated the photo updates! Ideal stay!”

“This was our first time leaving our puppy. We were very nervous but as soon as we dropped our puppy off we knew it was going to be great! They were absolutely amazing. They sent pictures while we’re gone, which was so great for my kids to see there puppy! We picked him and he was very happy. They were so accommodating and we will definitely be using Kayla for future dog sitting needs!”
