It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. If you need me to check in on them, feed /water them, potty breaks/short walks/close-by parks/play toss-the-ball, hug/cuddle/companion-time or stay at your home I am available to help. I develop unique connections to each animal I’m around and grateful to be around each one. Whatever a pet-owner needs me to do to help make their pet’s day better, I’m up for the challenge. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I am in college. I have a class on monday in person for about 2 hours but besides that all my other classes are online so I am always free. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.
About: I previously worked at a vet clinic in Estacada and a dog boarding facility for a couple years in Damascus. I have worked with many different types of dogs and cats. About: Animals have always been a major component of my life. They tend to be drawn to me and trust in my patient compassionate nature. I enjoy training puppies basic manners and have even taught my cat a few tricks. I love being outdoors and engaging with those around me. Dogs appreciate my high energy and positive reinforcement. About: Very similarly to my history with cats, I've never known a life without at least one pup in my life! Although I don't have my own dog at the moment because I have no space for pups to play, and I know they need to be able to get energy out, and an apartment isn't the best place for that, my Mom still has two dogs that I care for often. As she did with cats, my Mom bred Lhasa Apsos on several occasions, and of course, those doggies were nothing less than completely pampered(as they should be)! I've helped with everything from bathing dogs of all sizes, to walking dogs, to actually helping with delivering puppies! I've had so many breeds of dogs, each with their own personality! I've had Lhasa Apsos, Australian Shepards, Mastiffs, a Saint Bernard, Golden Retrievers, Labradoodles, Greyhounds, and more! My Mom currently has 2 Labradoodles, and I've watched/dog sat them on several occasions. I'd love to have the opportunity to get to know you and your pup(s), and help you in any way I can! About: There are few things I love more than animals. Walks maybe. Or good food. All animals have a special place in my heart, and it is an honor to help care for yours. To me, animals are people too. I am currently working full-time but dedicate time every afternoon and evenings to take walks. I’m up for whatever your pet(s) need whether that means a meandering stroll in your neighborhood, a social experience in a dog park or up some hills to get the glutes working. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
