About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

About: Although I'm new to Rover I have been dog sitting for years, now that I'm retired and have too much free time on my hands I decided to bump it up a notch. I love dogs and my papillon is getting up there in age and lost her sister and this is a great way to give her company and a buddy. I am retired and home more than away. Weather permitting I spend most of my time enjoying the outdoors playing and working in my yard. I have two beautiful landscaped fully fenced acres, lots of room for your fur babies to run and play. My home is well set up for extra paws. I have one senior papillon who could use a buddy.

About: My primary reason for dog sitting is simply because I love spending time with animals. I just moved back to the area and am looking forward to continuing working with Rover and making some new 4-legged friends:) Dogs that I am sitting can spend their days lounging around with me, playing in the yard, going for walks, swimming in the pool, running around in the Orchard.and other fun outings when appropriate. I know that every dog is different and has different physical and emotional needs. I will make sure they're getting their individual doggie needs met as well as shower them with plenty of love and attention while you are away. I have extensive experience working with senior dogs and catering to their every need all the way through end of life services. I also have a lot of experience training puppies and preparing them with the basic skills to live a happy life. I have been around animals my whole life as well as raised an amazing 13 year Goldendoodle. Also, I spent 2 years working with Paws To Freedom assisting in Service Dog Training. In addition, my love for animals as lead me to volunteering at local shelters and fostering when needed. I have plenty of experience with a variety of animals and have taken cared for dozens of dogs while owners were away. Most importantly though, I have a genuine love and respect for animals emotional and physical wellbeing:) My schedule is very flexible and I am pretty much home full-time most days of the week. I can easily accommodate advanced scheduling and can sometimes accommodate last minute as well. This is however, very part-time for me so my schedule may fill up quickly at times. I can also arrange for pick up and drop off in Clackamas if that is easier. In my home pets are part of the family. They get treated with the love and respect just like any other member of the household.

About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I have school during the weekdays from 8-9 am to 2 or 3. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.

About: I have my own car, I'm on time, I will take care of them like they were my owns. I've grew up with all sorts of animals. I've had dogs my whole life. I know how to control a dog fight it is happens. I'm a responsiable person. I don't leave the animals unattended for a long time. I let them out, give them water and food. They will get walked at least 4 times a day, makes sure they get some energy out and go to the bathroom. I love animals and I love helping people out. I feel like helping people out goes along ways. About: I've been around animals my entire life. My family has owned dogs since I was about 6 and cats since before I was born. Since I was 15, I have been pet sitting for friends, family, and my neighbors which has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, personalities, and levels of need. I know that every dogs has its own special needs, and I will always make it my priority to provide attentive, loving, and reliable care. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you are away. I am working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with the pets in my care. While I will need to leave for a few hours during the day, I make taking care of your pets my priority. On most work days I am able to stop by during my lunch break and check on pets, let them outside, take them for a short walk, and make sure they are comfortable and cared for. Outside of work hours, I will be available to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship to ensure your pet feels happy and well cared for. My goal is always to make pets feel safe and cared for while maintaining their routines as much as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will follow all instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, basic bathing and grooming and any special needs. I also make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean environment. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know them and build trust. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm routine, I adapt my care to meet their needs. I can also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. I am also willing to do basic home care and cleaning for the client while I am staying in their home.

About: I have grown up around dogs, so taking care of their basic needs is an easy task. I have brushed huskies to help get rid of undercoat, and I have bathed dogs. I have given them medicine before, but I do not do shots. I have done walks and hikes with dogs, and played fetch along the way! I am no stranger to tug-of-war. I am doing school online for the last term so I have plenty of time on my hands! I am free the majority of the day on almost all days! I have three cats at home and they are fed the recommended amount of food and treats per day! I give them access to lots of water and many toys they can play with. Since I am studying at home, I often take breaks and play with them. We make sure that there is nothing breakable where the cats can injure themselves and we tie up all of the strings on the blinds. We also have air purifiers for my cat that has allergies.

About: *In the Summer if you want me to Pet Sit for you, be willing to accommodate my Husky. He is well trained, tears up nothing, is completely potty trained, gets along with dogs and cats. He may look scary at first but grows on you quick, once you learn he won't hurt you. He has helped me teach other dogs who don't like new dogs how to befriend a stranger. He can easily stay in a room separate from your pets, even a bathroom, he isn't picky, he just likes A/C. I never leave him alone with pets, even if they get along. I had actually trained him to be my Service Dog. I have been a Wag Walker for 3 going on 4 weeks now, and have already been ranked Top Caregiver and in High Demand...with 37 (5 Star Reviews) so far! (Update: Over 100 Walks and 3 Sittings as of 12/28/24) From Camas to Lake Oswego and Aurora, I have been in some wealthy homes all alone, so I can assure you I'm as Trustworthy as they come :-) Google says Wag is more for Walking and Rover is more for Sitting, so that's why I'm here too now. I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a House and start Boarding. (Update: I just got a room in a house in West Linn, I may be able to Board in the near future). P.S. I wear a Body Cam at all times for everyone's safety. I'm a Full-Time Walker/Trainer already, I'm looking to add Sitting to my Schedule so I can afford to upgrade to a house and start Boarding as well :-) Fur Babies won't be left alone longer than 4 hours, 2 hours if requested. About: I have grown up with a dog in my home as well as have been around lots of pets! Have 3 cat fur babies of my own that I adore, love dogs as well! Currently working 4, 10 hour shifts as a medical assistant so am available 3 whole days a week 2 of the days being Saturday and Sunday and my day off varies weekly but I know what days I have off each week through the end of the year I will make sure each gets play time as well as walk time across the way we have a dog park and lots of place to run!

About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.
