About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.

About: Please Note that I am not currently watching any pets that eat raw food due to the risk of pathogens including h5n1. This includes raw food, freeze dried raw, raw coated kibble, raw toppers, raw egg, and raw milk. I've worked with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, ducks, quail, ect. In the past and genuinely enjoying spending time with animals. I can provide safe, comfortable, and reliable pet care for you while you are away. I've done in home pet sitting, drop in care, and dog walking for family, friends, neighbors, and others in the community. I have experience with puppies, senior animals, dogs with behavioral issues, and intact animals. I currently work part time as a babysitter so my schedule is pretty open. I usually make my schedule in advance, but if I have availability I'm happy to do last minute care. I have two friendly dogs who would love to come along to house sitting jobs if you are comfortable. About: I have taken care of 4 dogs at once. 3 big, 1 small. They required a lot of attention. I also had to give medication to 2 of the dogs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and fitting to their needs I have school during the weekdays from 8-9 am to 2 or 3. I am able to spent the night at peoples houses and change my schedules to fit the dogs needs. I am able to do anything that fits the owners needs. I make sure to watch the dogs often and give them attention they need.

One of the weekend days she definitely fed them all breakfast closer to lunchtime, but I still felt like they were in good hands, and in her defense I had expressed some flexibility in their feeding time. She also went out of her way to set our cat camera back up after the cats knocked it over so we could continue spying on one of their favorite hangout spots. Cats were happy and healthy when I got back.”

About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.

About: I have my own car, I'm on time, I will take care of them like they were my owns. I've grew up with all sorts of animals. I've had dogs my whole life. About: I love pets more than most people but no time for one full-time myself. I love to love and give all the time and attention to the pets of others. It's one of the greatest joys in life. I currently only work part-time because I have my kiddo every other week and love to make sure I don't miss out on the younger years. I live on 10 acres in Colton, so I have a great area for your dog to run around. The property is mostly fenced, but a dog that likes to run off can easily escape if they wanted to. I don't let dogs outside unsupervised though, especially after dark.
