About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. “Blessed finally someone I can trust Eileen and Rich found me on Rover. They were looking for a sitter for there pup as their beloved long time sitter had moved. Rich came to my place with piglet for meet and greet with my 3 smalls . He shared with me how much anxiety he was having trying to find the exact right fit for piglet. I have 3 dogs. Doyle is my fear dog (He has come ALONG ways in 5 short years. He immediately ran up to Rich and put his feet on his legs so he could pet him. They watched the pack for me one day and it was the first time I had ever left Doyle with anyone and even tho I was a little nervous that Doyle would try to escape to come find me I knew they would be watching him like a hawk. Just a short time later I received a photo from Eileen comfy on the couch with all the dogs (even Doyle!) Laying on her and snuggling. But honestly, I already knew on my heart that they would care and lovey dogs almost as much me by the number of dog sitters they interviewed and even coming back for a second meet and greet just to make sure everything was going to work out. I will also add that piglet is very well behaved has excellent social skills , and over all just a well balanced dog. Says a lot about her parents! About: I’ve started walking dogs since I was walking in diapers. Throughout the years I’ve taken care of different sizes of dogs~ puppies to seniors. I’ve taken care of dogs that needed medical care and trained my dog and my grandma’s pup. I can say I know a bit of things when it comes dogs. I’m currently going to school in the afternoon and working at a part time, my mornings are almost always open and some of my nights. I’ll Still be willingly to work something out between those times. I like to take my dog out every 4 hrs even if he isn’t waiting at the door just to make sure he gets a nice breeze of the outside. I usually give him a cup of food every morning.
About: Hi! I’m River. I was raised with dogs and cats (and birds and turtles and fish) as a child, and as an adult I have raised my own from puppyhood/kittenhood through their senior years. I am comfortable with puppy potty training, litter box training, cleaning messes, handling kitten/puppy energy, etc. I can do light grooming (brushing fur, cleaning with wipes, applying powders, etc) and give medications. (I can even do baths with the right set-up, and advanced notice.) I typically like to do a little light housekeeping anywhere I stay; I live by the motto of “leave it better than you found it.” I also have a wide range of experience and am comfortable caring for various other pets that might need tending while you’re out. In general I love all animals; when asked if I am “a dog person or a cat person,” I say, “yes.” I have done lots of pet-sitting for friends and family (including fostering for a year, to help a friend of a friend while she finished school) and I love meeting and getting to know new animal friends. I am finally joining Rover at the recommendation of many friends and family members who think caring for people’s pets is an excellent job for me. I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care, and if you trust me with your pets’ care you will find they are in very good hands! I am happy to care for your pets in the way that works best for them: coming regularly to take them for walks, scoop litter boxes, and pick up puppy pads, etc., or staying with them in the comfort of their own home if they need more than drop-in attention. If in-home sitting is needed for extended periods, I may need to leave for a few hours at a time, but I can work around your pet’s needs for specific mealtimes, walk/potty times, etc. I love all pets as the individuals they are, and care for them as if they were my own. You can rely on me to follow detailed instructions, keep you updated, and make sure they are as happy and well-cared-for as can be while you are away.
About: My family and I have rescued a few dogs and trained them. I try to give them the best life possible. I believe that dogs deserve lots of attention and playtime! I am a part time college student, along with having a part time job! My availability changes often but the time i have with your pups will not go to waste. About: Hi yall! I grew up on a farm with my two parents who are vets. I have experience with rats, mice, horses and bunnies as well as dogs and cats. I work Saturdays and Sundays from 8-2pm, but other than that I have an open schedule. I tend to wake up around 8 or 9 am and can tend to the pet until around 10 when I go to sleep. I live on 10 acres in Colton, so I have a great area for your dog to run around. The property is mostly fenced, but a dog that likes to run off can easily escape if they wanted to. I don't let dogs outside unsupervised though, especially after dark.
About: I worked at a vet clinic for 3.5 years but due to life changes I now work at a pet store and petsit to continue to work with animals while I work towards my goal of working in vet med again.
