About: I live on a farm and have taken care of animals most of my life, including dogs, cats, chickens, and cows. I've also stayed over at some of my friends houses to take care of their dogs whenever they leave on trips and need a sitter. I'm currently on summer break from college and have plenty of time to take care of your pets throughout the day and even overnight if wanted. I can take care of your pet in your own home in whatever way you would like. I am happy to take dogs on walks and play with any animals. I will also abide by any house rules or routines that I am told.

About: I have had pets for as long as I could remember. Although my family started with small animals at first, when I was in high school, we got our first cat, a Scottish Fold named Cali! Now I have two dogs, Taco and Willow, and a snake, Java. I am also currently a vet student and have worked in the veterinary field for about 5 years. I have also been in the animal care industry for about 6 years. With my experience, you can rest assured that someone experienced in animal care, animal behavior, and veterinary medicine is taking wonderful care of your dog! Asides from knowing how to perform medical procedures for animals, I also love to train dogs. I’m very interested in behavioral medicine and enjoy training my own two little ones. Taco is task-trained by myself alone. Do you have a behaviorally complex or reactive dog? No worries! I have experience handling reactive and anxious dogs, even having managed to train one to be able to walk on the same side of the street as other dogs! All of my background and knowledge will help me take the best care of your family members! *Please note that on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am only available past 5. On most Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free in the morning until noon. For this reason, I offer the best quality care for lower prices!* I am currently a student working part-time, so my current weekday availability is after 5:30 PM (though my weekend schedule is far more flexible). Going on walks and stopping by to care for animals is a great way for me to destress so you’ll know that I am enjoying my time with you loved ones and thus are taking the best care of them! I understand how to read animal body language very well from all of my years working in the vet industry. I know how to approach both confident and fearful animals, as I have a slightly anxious girl myself. I always use treats, attention, and toys as a way to gain their trust and strongly believe in positive reinforcement training, as well as a fear free approach. I know how to ensure that the room is dog/cat-proofed and what signs to look out for should your pet not be feeling well. Important to note that I am fear free certified!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and truly love spending time with them. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just keeping them company, I treat every dog like they’re my own. I’m responsible, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy. While I don’t have professional training experience, I’m confident in providing everyday care, attention, and lots of affection to keep your pup comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I’m available anytime after 12 PM on weekdays, and I’m completely free on Thursdays and weekends. Whether it’s a midday walk or weekend sitting, I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s needs. When caring for pets, safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel at ease. In my home or yours, I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and feel safe. I stick to feeding schedules, keep a close eye on them during walks or outdoor time, and give them plenty of attention and care. You can count on me to treat your pet like family and keep you updated along the way.

“Irina took care of my dog on a regular basis over the past few months. She is amazing. She’s always available when I need her and she is flexible with my work hours. She sends me videos of her with my dog and makes sure he is happy before leaving him. I would recommend irina to anyone who needs help with their pet! :)”

“Julia is awesome! Extremely reliable and even helps us out with last minute requests. Love not having to worry if my dog is getting enough exercise and attention when he’s with Julia.”

About: I love animals, and I’m always the friend that runs to the petting zoo. I’ve cared for big and small dogs, as well as cats. I am also full of energy, so I make the perfect companion for an active dog (don’t worry, i know how to slow down for the couch potatoes too). I am the proud owner of a 3-year old Aussie and a 9-month old tuxedo kitten. I know pets are part of the family, their safety and happiness is the priority, and I will love yours like my own. I’m an engineer by trade but currently taking a break so I’d love to hang out with your furry friends anytime! I walk and play with my pup everyday! It’s always fun to have another furry pal join. Whether your pet likes to play or relax, I can accommodate to both. I’m a helicopter pet mom! so rest assured your pet will be supervised and kept safe. I will actively engage with your pet throughout the entire visit to ensure their needs are met.

About: With two decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I’ve seen it all—from high-energy puppies to mellow seniors. I’ve walked, trained, fed, medicated, and comforted pets like they were my own. Whether it’s a daily walk, overnight stay, or just extra attention while you're away, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. Caring for pets is built into my day—thanks to my own dog, Blu, a playful 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who keeps me on my toes. From early morning walks to afternoon fetch and evening training sessions, my routine revolves around giving him structure, exercise, and love. That same energy and commitment naturally extends to every dog I care for. Whether in my home or yours, my top priority is making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every dog like family, making sure they have the structure, playtime, and affection they need. In my home, I provide a clean, dog-friendly space where pets can relax and play safely—alongside my own friendly pup, Blu. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and routines, making sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away.

About: Hi, I'm Mia! I love pups of all personalities and energy levels! I've had dogs for most of my life, and I've dog-sat for friends and family for the past 4 years. I'll be sure to treat your fur baby with the utmost kindness, respect, and compassion. I'm also comfortable with bully breeds! I'm a graduate student, so my schedule is very flexible! Usually, I keep my early mornings and evenings free, but I'm also happy to drop by in the middle of the day for potty or play time (or much needed stress relief for myself!). My schedule’s flexibility is amenable to last minute bookings and cancellations too. I love all animals, and approach each with respect, care, and patience. About: I have over a year of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Friends, neighbors, and family often trust me to walk, feed, and look after their pets. I enjoy long walks that keep dogs active and happy, as well as providing patient care for puppies and senior dogs. My focus is always on keeping pets safe, healthy, and loved while giving them the exercise and attention they deserve. I am currently a college student, so my schedule is very flexible. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some playtime, I can easily fit it into my schedule. Your dog’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I have a fenced yard for secure playtime. I can also crate your dog if needed and always follow your instructions to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: Hi! I grew up with multiple pets including my beloved rescue dog Lacey! I also currently live with two cats, Missy and Max! I have extensive experience pet sitting for my friends that included just stopping by for daily walks to long term overnight care when they are away! I have looked after high-energy dogs that need a lot of exercise, and also anxious pets. I currently work from 9-5, but I can work remotely if needed. I am available for daily drop ins and can stay overnight any day of the week! I am available to stay overnight in your home to take care of your pet to ensure that they are in their familiar, comfortable environment.

About: I'm the person my friends ask to babysit their pets - young dogs, senior dogs, cats, etc. I've administered medicine, etc. My family home has had 3 German shepherds, and I raised a golden mix and two cats separately. I work from home online, so my schedule is very flexible. If I'm house-sitting and you have internet, everything is great. I take dogs for 2 walks a day at least and potty breaks several times daily. Cats - some like to be left alone, and some want company or to know someone's home...so I'm willing to do either, depending on the personality. I always try to keep my eyes on the pets - indoors and outdoors at all times. They're like children so I try to be cautious what they might be chewing on, where they're walking, etc.

“I’m excited to recommend Anna as a new pet caregiver on Rover.com. Having and helping to take care of her own dogs growing up, she will be a very caring and loving caregiver to other people’s dogs. She taught herself how to groom our golden retriever and does a nice job. I hope River.com customers will give her a chance to take care of their pets.”

Zachary S.
“Zachary is a very responsible and kind person. He lived with me for a time and he was great with my dogs and the rover dogs that we would watch because my family also does rover. Zac also is a D1 athlete, and to get to his point in his soccer career takes a lot of dedication and responsibility. In his life he does everything he does to the best of his ability and is very responsible with everything he does. I think Zachary would be a great person for Rover.”

“Julia is awesome! Extremely reliable and even helps us out with last minute requests. Love not having to worry if my dog is getting enough exercise and attention when he’s with Julia.”

Laura M.
“To say Laura is a responsible and loving animal caregiver is an understatement. She’s the proud mom of a high-energy 2-year-old Australian Shepherd and an affectionate 6-month-old domestic shorthair kitten. Two animals with very different personalities who genuinely adore one another. If that doesn’t speak volumes about her dedication, patience, and consistency as a pet parent, I don’t know what does! Aussies in particular aren’t for the faint of heart—they require constant exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. Laura goes above and beyond to meet those needs, no matter how long her day has been. Her pets always come first. She’s also cared for my thirteen-year-old Chiweenie, who can be a bit grumpy and set in his ways. Laura was incredibly gentle and attentive with him, making sure he got his walks, plenty of belly rubs, and personalized care. In his old age, he developed a heart condition—Laura even took the time to research food alternatives and dietary options that might help. She’s the kind of person you can trust not only to care for your pets, but to treat them like her own. I can’t recommend her enough—your furry companions will be in the very best hands with Laura.”

Lexi A.

“My dog can be shy with strangers but she happily went for a walk with Lexi.”

Michael A.
“Leaving my dog with someone new made me nervous, but Mike instantly put me at ease. He connected with my dog right away and handled everything with so much care—like he was his own. I came home to a happy, calm pup and a spotless house. I’m beyond thankful. Mike is the kind of person every dog deserves.”

Alana M.

“Was super responsive and had great communication! Our pup was very happy!”

University Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Irene was wonderful with Loki. Loki is very high energy and often reactive towards other dogs and men, but he’s always on his best behavior for her. He even made another dog-friend on a walk with her - which has NEVER happened before. The photos of him on his walk make my day! He loved her from the start and I’m so grateful for her help with him. Highly, highly recommend her!
