About: I’ve had family dogs since I was a child, mainly labs and have more recently been a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs. I’m confident handling puppies and larger breeds and also have a lot of experience and confidence with reactive dogs. Our last family dog had several health conditions so I am also happy working with older / slower dogs that just need a bit of company and fuss. I’m currently working full time but remotely so have plenty of availability to come to your home to look after your pets and give them plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Unfortunately my current role is coming to an end in Oct so wanted to explore the opportunity of providing pet services. I can be flexible in terms of dog sitting, popping in to give them some company and providing walks as well. Working remotely with a flexible schedule allows me to give your beloved pets plenty of attention and fuss throughout the day ensuring they have plenty of opportunities for the loo and receive the level of stimulation they require.

About: I've had pets since I was small and always give them all equal care and attention. As an experienced pet, equine and livestock owner I look after all animals with the same care and attention that I give my own. I am good at sticking to a routine for any pets that may need structure, I am also flexible with my days and making sure that all animals are happy and healthy. I have a young, well behaved and crate trained cocker spaniel. I also love to make sure that your home is left in a tidy if not better condition to how it was left.

About: I’ve had the joy of pet sitting for a variety of dog breeds, from gentle Great Danes to playful little sausage dogs. About: I have experience with most breeds of dogs and cats (big and small)! This involves grooming, giving meds to senior felines and canines and weaning puppies from 3 weeks of age! I am also capable of training basic tricks from scratch, especially to younger dogs :) I’ve worked in a Dog Groomers for a few years now which has made me extremely patient meaning I can cope well with all types of temperaments and learnt to respect the boundaries of animals. My friends and family have trusted me plenty of times to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight, as they know I’ll provide them with updates throughout! I’ve been bonding and caring for my rescue cat since I was 4 years old. She means everything to me and she’s still here 18 years later happy as Larry! Having this strong bond with her has gained me an understanding of how important a pet’s happiness is to their owner, so I’d love to be apart of that whilst you are away! I have just graduated from University with a degree in Zoology, but I am now based in Minehead for work, however the rota changes each week. Due to this, I would have to play it by ear on availability but will try my best to work around the hours I do with you! I’m an active person so my walks can range from 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on the breed and your preference, I’m also capable of walking multiple dogs at a time :) After each drop in, walk or house sit I will ensure your home is left tidy and your pet is left happy! If you need me to crate your pet at any time, just let me know! You will receive regular photo updates of your pets whilst you’re gone if this is of interest to you (I have interest in animal photography so it would be my pleasure!) :)

About: I have worked with dogs professionally in various roles for the past 5 years, and have owned and fostered dogs for 10+ years. I have experience with a huge variety of breeds, ages, temperaments, sizes and characters! I am qualified in Canine First Aid and am experienced and confident in providing care to dogs with various medical conditions - such as Diabetes, Heart Conditions, Arthritis, and other issues. I currently work part time as a self employed dog walker so have plenty of time to fill looking after your lovely pets! my day to day plans tend to be very dog friendly 🐶 I primarily offer sitting, in your dogs own home. A lot of dogs and owners prefer this as your dog gets to stay in their routine and in the comfort of their own home. I live in a flat with a shared garden so I only take boarding bookings for dogs who would be happy and comfortable in this environment. I also have a cat at home so any boarding customers need to be cat friendly.

About: Fully licensed and insured for pet boarding, sitting and walking. I live in Uphill, WsM with my wife and son. In the past I have owned dogs, cats and other pets. When we lost my lovely 13 year old Border terrier, it seemed like a good idea to take up pet boarding, sitting and walking. I usually board one, occasionally two dogs, at a time from different households, but happy to board two dogs from the same household. We usually host small to medium sized dogs, and up to a maximum of three dogs. I can no longer take very large or strong dogs that pull on the lead. Our garden is a good size and secure, so your dog will always have access to the garden. I live near to Uphill’s sandy beach and wonderful countryside walks. Your dog will be very comfortable and well looked after. I work from home so your dog will never be left alone for longer than a few hours in the daytime and never alone at night. About: Ive taken care of various different animals over the years beginning when I was 8 with my very first pet. Ive taken care of different breeds of dogs ranging from woldhounds all the way down to dachshunds. My garden is very large with a field just round the back of the house. Currently there are other caged pets in and outside my house such as birds, a rabbit & a Lizard. I currently work a zero-hour contract so I decide when I would like to work so I will have plenty of time to play and entertain your pups. My garden is fenced in and all pets that live in the house have a designated area either outdoors or in a room where your pet cannot get a hold of them. For car journeys I have designated safety features for every size dog. Bigger dogs will usually either go in the crates or be harnessed to the seats. The dogs will NEVER be allowed in my vehicle without some sort fo safety feature.

About: I’ve had working Springer Spaniels in the home my whole life and started helping out with them as soon as I was old enough to! They are my babies, I have also cared for many of my friends and family’s pets across the years. Some with a dairy farm I grew up visiting, my dad keeps bees there. Some neighbours with an old tortoise called torts! Dogs of all sizes, from st Bernese to jack russels. I work 4 days a week between the hours of 8-6 shift start and end times changing daily so will be out of the home for 7-9 hours a day but if the home is in Exeter I can come back on my break to let pets out etc and can walk pets before and after work easily! I will play with the person or take them for walks, or merely spend time in their company if they’re a more slow living pet! Feeding, any medications needed, keeping water refreshed are all given priorities in my care. I am open to most forms of care as I understand every pet has very differing needs!

About: Apart from being a professional piano teacher and musician my world is about animal care . I share my home with 3 dogs , 4 cats , 6 horses and 6 sheep , and 1 hamster most being rescued at some. point ! I grew up with dogs and have always had at least 3 dogs to care for and same with cats and horses! I’m experienced with young pups having had several litters myself and elderly dogs needing a loving and caring environment to feel safe . Living on top of Exmoor we have fantastic walks available and I have a large secure garden too ! I work from home apart from one day a week and am there to care for my own animals and yours 24/7. Most importantly your pets need to feel happy and safe and loved in a new unfamiliar environment and they will be welcome as part of the family from the moment they arrive . We truly are a home from home where your pets will be our number one priority . I currently work part time from home and am available to care for your pets 6 days per week with overnight care also . My dogs are never left unattended and they are my priority . I will aim to fit in with your usual pet schedule . My dogs and cats are very friendly and used to having new friends to stay . The dogs ages range from 1.5 yrs to 14 so they adapt well to other dogs . I have a secure garden and lots of space in the house and your dog can have total freedom in the home environment . Walks are taken away from the road and dogs kept on a long lead if preferred . I work from home part time apart from one day away per week and so can devote myself completely to your dogs and my dogs needs . Animals tend to rule the roost here ! I have a secure house and a fenced garden with lots of space and a separate fenced patio, and so a very secure environment .

About: After leaving the nursing profession 10 years I set up my own dog walking and boarding business in London and had many regular clients for 8 years. Eventfully I moved up to Northumberland where there was little need for dog day care.... In 2021 I then moved to Somerset and once again have the time to dedicate my time caring for dogs. I am a retired nurse, so any dogs who come for day care or home boarding stay will never be left on their own. I have 2 Maltese terriers, one is 13, the 11. They are well used to other dogs in their home and are very sweet natured... Home from home comfort is offered! I have a large fenced and hedged front an back garden. I have access to some of the loveliest walks in Somerset from the Quantocks to Exmoor.

About: Home isn’t a home without a loved fur baby. I have had cats and dogs all my life and they bring such fulfilment to life. However, what’s better is to bring love and companionship to them. I throughly enjoy quality time with animals and when I holiday I would want my fur babies to have the love and care that I can offer yours. I currently work 2 days a week for a retail company and therefore have lots of time to spend with and care for your fur babies. I have a very large grassed enclosed garden for your dog to run and explore. I live off a beach which offers lovely walks and other dog interaction if you are happy with that. Your dog will be in a home from home, having cuddles on the sofa. However, I am also happy to crate if you desire and it is what your pet is used to.

About: I have been around dogs all my life and cats for the majority of my adult life. I have experience with puppies, kittens, elderly dogs as well as rescue dogs. I have a lot of experience with house sitting with animals for friends and neighbours as well taking dogs on both short and long walks depending on the owners preference. This year I have started boarding in my own home however this is only once I have an established relationship with your fur baby. I am currently working part time so i have to work Mondays from 5-8.30 and Wednesdays 2-8.30. I am available during they days, evenings and weekends other that the times listed abound. I offer regular updates on your fur babies and photos of their adventures with me if this is something you would like. I also like to build a relationship with the owners as I am very aware you are trusting me with your fur baby and your home. For boarding the dogs are aloud on the furniture and on the bed however if you have a strict routine for your dog and do not wish for them to get used to sleeping on a human bed, I sill stick to your rules and routine. My home has a garden and is fenced off. I don’t have any pets so all my attention will be for your fur babies.

About: I am qualified Dog Handler that spent a good 10+ years within the Security Industry working with Patrol and Personal Protection dogs. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes but have plenty confidence and experience with the big ones. I am currently working Ad-Hoc as and when I choose.. so I have plenty of time to help out with your dog/cat needs and requirements. I would always be very vigilant with a pet making sure they are happy, safe and cared for. I have adequate transport to take pets to the local park.

About: Want someone to love and look after your pet as much as you do? Then you’ve found the right person! I love animals. I’ve been around them since I was born. I grew up with with bulldogs and a Great Dane as well as border collies and terrier ,bassets ,daschunds ,pugs ,shar pei’s and schauzers. I recently house and dog sat for a German shepherd and French bulldog taking them out 6-10 times a day as well as keeping the house tidy of course. I’m happy to drop in and take your pet out for as long as you need usually minimum of an hour walks. I am happy to help you with your pet any way I can. About: I’ve house sat since I was 18 years old, from sheep to chickens, dogs, cats and horses; I’m very used to caring for all animals and their individual needs. I have a flexible working pattern so I am available to give your pets all the attention and care they require whilst you are away from home I care for the pets in my care as wished by the pet owner so that the pet can remain as happy and settled as possible.

About: I have have lived and looked after animals for as long as I can remember, all my friends and family trust me to look after their pets with confidence, I love all animals all shapes and sizes I work half the week from home, days I work away I am back by 4pm, and I’m available most weekends. Early walks, midday walks or evening walks all work for me! I am a new home owner and do not yet have my own fur baby but I have a garden which is all secure and fenced, and I do not live near the main road, or any other dangers/worries

About: I am a huge animal lover, turning an enjoyable hobby into work. Over the last year I've helped friends and family walking their dogs for various reasons, and it's made me realise how much I love being in the company of animals. I am based in Minehead and located at the foot of the hills and woods of Exmoor. Myself and my dogs explore the woods and hills two times a day and I know some beautiful places to walk that are literally on my doorstep. I am so very lucky. I also live a five minute drive from Minehead beach and ten minutes from Dunster. We equally enjoy our beach walks. I am a dog owner of a young Whippet called Nala and and elderly Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Winston, who may sometimes (if suitable) join a walk. I am flexible and have good availability. I am trustworthy and I genuinely care very much about what I do and any animals in my care. I have transport so can pick up and drop off and help with travel. I am used to dogs with additional needs such as anxiety etc, I had a rescue dog from Greece who was very nervous around men and children. We also have a blind dog within the family who I have a good relationship with and am able to cater to his needs on our walks together.
