“Barney had the most wonderful stay with Fernando and Morné for just over a week. From the very beginning they made us feel confident that he was in safe, caring hands. They were communicative throughout the stay, sending multiple photo and video updates every day along with thoughtful written messages about how Barney was getting on, which we really appreciated. It was clear from the updates that Barney was having an absolute blast. He spent lots of time on walks and enjoyed running around their safe local dog area, enthusiastically chasing and playing with their lovely young dog Bailey. It was also very sweet to see Kiki patiently tolerating the chaos! The photos they sent were fantastic — some of the best pictures we’ve ever had of Barney — and really showed how happy and relaxed he was. Fernando and Morné were also wonderfully thoughtful and accommodating with routines, feeding, and logistics around drop-off and pick-up, which made the whole experience completely stress-free for us. It’s not easy leaving your dog for over a week, but thanks to their constant updates and the obvious care they gave Barney, we never once worried. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and feel very lucky to have found such kind, attentive sitters. Barney came home happy, tired, and clearly missing his new best friend Bailey — which probably tells you everything you need to know!”

About: Hi! My name is Meg and I’m looking to spend some time with furry friends as I can’t currently have one of my own. I’ve cared for family and friend’s animals and have enjoyed it so much that I’m looking for some more experiences! I’m experienced with dogs and have house-sat for a cat before. I work from home a Thursday & Friday, therefore I’m around to cuddle, play with and walk your furry friends! We can go for a lunchtime walk and/or after work, as well as weekends. Listening to owner requests, keeping an eye out for potential dangers and listening to the pets. It’s important to build trust with a furry friend to have a safe and enjoyable time.

About: I’ve got two dogs at home with my mum (8yrs and 1yrs) but recently moved to Limehouse without any pets of my own. I miss the walks and company. I look after my friend’s dogs occasionally which is lovely. I always do my best to make them feel comfortable and safe especially on walks. My flat is a good size for one or two dogs at a time and we have a good sized private terrace with plants and furniture. I work 4 days from home and study in evenings. My 1 office day is flexible so I can usually accommodate last minute bookings. For longer bookings or weekends I do need sufficient notice but will always try to accommodate. My flat is spacious, clean and has a large balcony. We’re close to a small park with lovely Thames side walks. Pets are allowed on the sofa (unless you train them otherwise, just let me know). I have spare dog bowls, poop bags and toys - clean water is always put down. Let me know about food needs and any medical issues your dog has. As well as any habits on walks which I should be aware of.

About: We're a friendly, calm, WFH couple living right by London Fields. Dogs have been a big part of both our lives since we were kids - I grew up with springer spaniels, and Jack with border collies. We don't have one of our own right now, and we miss having that companionship around, so we'd love to look after your pups when we can :) We work from home a lot so your pups will gets lots of company. We're easy-going about fitting into their routine, up for walks or overnight stay. We've looked after dogs locally over the last couple years through BorrowMyDoggy - so we know the ropes, even if we're new to Rover! Between the two of us, one or both of us is usually home most days, so your dog gets plenty of company rather than being left alone for hours. We fit walks and playtime around work calls (not the other way round), and we're happy to stick to whatever routine your dog's used to, feeding times, walk lengths, all of it. Evenings and weekends we're normally around too, so it's not just a weekday thing. Overnight stays are always at ours. We've got a small patio out back and we're literally seconds from London Fields, so your dog gets regular time outdoors, not just one walk a day squeezed in. Inside, it's a calm, settled home, no long periods left alone, and we follow your feeding and routine instructions closely so nothing feels unfamiliar. We ask plenty of questions upfront too (recall, reactivity, anything they're nervous of) so there are no surprises on day one, and we're always reachable for updates or photos if you want peace of mind.

“This was Roo’s second stay with Constance and James and they were fantastic once again 😊 I was away for the weekend and received lots of updates and photos, which was so reassuring. About: I have had dogs in my life since I was a teenager with my family dog and have been a dog owner with my wife (Yoojin) until our little fluffy boy passed away at almost 17 years old. We've both had experience with small dogs and bigger dogs with the biggest being my mum's Staffordshire bull terrier who is incredibly strong. We know that every dog has their own personality and we are happy to accommodate them. We work from home most days of the week so can do daytime walks too. Although this profile is in my name, both my wife and I will likely take care of any dogs who are trusted to us. We are dog lovers and can't wait to meet and make some cute friends. Both my wife and I work from home 3 out of 5 weekdays so we can be pretty flexible. Whatever time your dog needs to go out and for however long I'm sure we can help. We are happy to board a dog in our home. We keep our house clean and safe for dogs and even have a balcony so they can watch the world go by if they want. We also live very close to a large park so your dog can enjoy nature daily while being with us. Whatever routine your dog has and rules it should follow, we will follow them too.
