Right now my family still has a chihuahua, two rescue dogs, and two rescue cats, so I’m well used to caring for nervous rescues as well as confident, easygoing pets. Deanne is genuinely looking out for Cosmic’s wellbeing - it’s very tempting to overfeed a cat, especially a noisy one like Cosmic, but Deanne made sure Cosmic did not pile on the pounds whilst we were away. The family really miss Cosmic when we’re on holiday, but Deanne’s detailed reports and wonderful photos kept us reassured and entertained each evening. It is a responsibility to be in someone’s house whilst they are away, and Deanne has given us every reason for us to trust her. Unfortunately Ettore and Liza didn’t really get along together as Ettore has a very dominant personality and if you’re not experienced enough with large dominant breeds he’ll take over you. However this is not Liza fault but just Ettore to be in a delicate stage of his life and he still need to get used to leaving us, other than that if you have an adult dog already settled I would recommend her.”

About: We have a 4 year old labradoodle named Hazel - she loves everyone and would be so happy to have pup playdates and sleepovers. We also have a 10 year old daughter, so pup-visitors would have to be happy with lots of cuddles and attention. Because we have our dog, someone is always home looking after her and taking her on walks. Our dog is part of the family, and she happily lounges on the sofa with us. About: I have had dogs as family pets for years, ranging from small dogs like a shitzu to a big labrador. I can't have a pet in my current house but love being around them. My roomate did rover and it was wonderful having the dogs over. I have more experience with dogs than cats but I have cat sat 4 cats for my friend at their home whilst they were on holiday. I have a very flexible job that allows work from home as well as flexible hours so I can accommodate late nights and early visits. I have a fenced in garden at my home as well as a large living space. The floors are hard wood so clean up of any issues would be easy! I am happy to travel across London.

I've looked after pets for a couple of years now and cherish every opportunity. My genuine love for animals is undeniable, and I’d do anything to make them happy and feel cared for. I lead an active lifestyle and would be more than happy to go on long walks or keep up with an energetic pup whenever needed, but also very happy to stay home for older and lazier doggos. I'm currently working full time and due to my work schedule and travelling commitments, I have different availability each week. I might be able to pet sit for more than a week depending on my availability. I live in a flat which has a balcony and there is a canal and park near by where I would take the dog for walks.

About: I have had dogs all my life. My first dog was a boxer and I was gifted with him when I was 7, I was 17 when he passed. After a few years, I was ready for another friend and was gifted with a Rottweiler, he died two years ago. About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, at one point we had 5 at the same time so I’m very comfortable walking multiple dogs and managing a group dynamic if need be. I live in a spacious flat with a shared enclosed garden, so there is space for dogs to be outside between walks if needed. I’m also close to several different parks that will allow me to keep dogs entertained and stimulated with a variety of environments through the day. I’m currently home based so able to provide regular boarding / day care. My schedule allows me the ability to take dogs out regularly, for short breaks and a long walk. I live in a spacious flat with an enclosed shared garden space, near plenty of parks for longer walks and enrichment. The block is small and animal friendly, and the flat is only on the first floor, although I appreciate this may be an issue for any more senior dogs who struggle with stairs (and are too big to lift). I share with a housemate who is mostly office based, but when home she is incredibly animal friendly having grown up with dogs and horses.

So naturally, we were worried about finding someone who could look after her to the same standard that we did. However, we truly met our match in Elsa! Elsa has experience with owning a dog that had lots of needs, including knee surgeries, so we knew Juno was being left in great hands! We met up the day before so Juno and Elsa could meet before her stay. Elsa has a really calm and warm energy, which, for our anxious dog, was perfect. After that first meetup, we felt at ease with the idea of leaving Juno in her care. Throughout the boarding, we were updated with photos, videos and messages. Juno was given medication, taken on her restricted walks and even got to sleep in the bed! When we went to collect her the following day, we could see that absolutely every treat and toy had been enjoyed. Success!! We highly recommend Elsa!! Whether your pet is healthy, recovering or living with ailments, Elsa would take wonderful care of them. This app is full of dog lovers, but there is a big difference between someone who wants to hang out with a dog and someone who is happy to take over the responsibility of caring for a poorly dog. Which is why I will end this with how I started, Elsa is a dog lover to her core!”
