Reliable home-from-home care
I’m a lifelong dog lover, dog owner, and have grown up with dogs all my life. I understand how important it is to know your dog is with someone you can trust. I’m patient, attentive and happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that includes particular feeding times, medication, longer walks or simply plenty of company and cuddles. I work from home, so dogs in my care get lots of attention throughout the day. I also have a secure garden for regular toilet breaks, fresh air and playtime. I also have a friendly dog at home, Rufus, who is playful, sociable and loves having another dog around. Your pup will have plenty of company during their stay, with a resident buddy to play with, relax alongside and keep them entertained. Rufus makes a great companion for dogs who enjoy a bit of canine company, and I’ll always make sure any dog staying with us is a good match and feels comfortable in the home. Most importantly, I want every dog staying with us to feel safe, relaxed and completely at home.

Lewis was a wonderful sitters for Stitch! Right from the start, Lewis made sure everything was a great fit by bringing Rufus over for a meet-and-greet to test their chemistry. He then followed up with his understanding of Stitch's care instructions, which was incredibly thoughtful and reassuring. His home is spotless, with fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for both relaxing and playtime. Throughout the stay, Lewis kept me updated with plenty of lovely photos and videos. It was clear Stitch was thoroughly spoiled and loved playing with Rufus. I couldn't be happier to have found Lewis and Rufus, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again!

Lewis has known Hendrix since he was a puppy. Hendrix is a Welsh Terrier, and as we know Terrier’s have a mind of their own! During the puppy stage he wasn’t always ‘a walk in the park’, but Lewis showed patience and perseverance paid off when looking after a more complicated dog. Now Hendrix is 6 years old and feels calm and comfortable being in Lewis’s care. Lewis makes sure to keep him stimulated by taking him for walks, and playing lots of fetch (Hendrix’s favourite game!) I feel confident leaving Hendrix in Lewis’s care and couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter.
We left our two Dachsunds, Milo and Cooper with Lewis which was there first time being left with someone else. Lewis was amazing with them, he gave them plenty of attention and gave us regular updates and sent pictures and videos too. We were worried about leaving them for the first time, but our worries completely went as we were totally put at ease by the care that was given. We have used Lewis a few times now, they are very happy and settled with him and his dog, who they love playing with. Would definitely recommend Lewis.
Lewis is incredibly kind, trustworthy and responsible, and I’d have absolutely no hesitation trusting him with my dog. He’s a genuine animal lover and has exactly the sort of calm, caring and attentive nature you’d want in someone looking after a pet. He’s reliable, conscientious and the type of person who would treat someone else’s dog as if it were his own. I’d happily recommend Lewis to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.
Lewis is a gentle, caring and fun dog sitter. My nervous chihuahua struggled with daycare and multiple sitters. Lewis took introductions and relationship building slowly and with a focus on my boy that meant he now doesn't want to be looked after by anyone else. Id highly recommend Lewis for daily walks or longer term care!
Lewis was brilliant looking after my dog Rio while I was at work. He took Rio out for a lovely walks and made sure he was well looked after. Everything went really smoothly, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Rio was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend Lewis to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their dog! 🐾😊

Schedule
I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m around throughout the day for regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks, feeding and plenty of company. I already structure my day around caring for Rufus (my Cocker Spaniel), so welcoming another dog into our routine feels very natural. I’m also happy to adapt to your dog’s usual schedule as much as possible, whether they prefer set mealtimes, particular walk times, or extra play.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are really important to me. In my home, dogs are welcomed into a friendly, comfortable environment with a secure, private garden, plenty of supervision and lots of company throughout the day. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and any individual routines or boundaries. I have my own dog, Rufus, who is friendly, playful and loves having another dog around. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs staying with us need to be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I make sure introductions are supervised and that both dogs have their own space when they need it. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can see what they’re getting up to and feel reassured that they’re happy and well cared for.

A typical day
A typical day will include plenty of attention, playtime and time to relax. As I work from home, I’m around throughout the day, so dogs won’t be left on their own. We’ll usually start with a morning walk, followed by breakfast and some downtime. During the day there’ll be garden breaks, playtime with toys, enrichment and, if your dog enjoys it, plenty of play with Rufus. We’ll then head out for another walk later in the day before settling down for the evening. I’ll always adapt the day to your dog’s usual routine, energy levels and personality, whether they love long walks and lots of play or prefer a more relaxed day with plenty of cuddles.

- Before a stay, I’d like to know as much as possible about your dog’s usual routine, personality and needs so I can make them feel at home. This includes their feeding schedule, walking routine, any medication or health needs, where they usually sleep, and anything they particularly love or dislike. As I have my own dog, Rufus, it’s important that any dogs staying with me are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. I’d also like to know about any behavioural quirks, separation anxiety, reactivity, recall or anything else that will help me care for them safely and confidently. The more you can tell me beforehand, the better I can keep their routine familiar and make sure they have a happy, comfortable stay.
