“Lynnsey was great with River & I would not hesitate to recommend her for walking your dog. She is professional & so very kind! Thank you Lynnsey”

About: An animal lover through and through! Over the years, I've gained loads of experience working for different dog companies and volunteering. I've looked after a range of dogs—from energetic pups who love a good run and play to more chilled-out dogs who prefer a leisurely stroll and nap. I've now started up on my own and joined Rover, excited to offer dedicated dog walking and home care. I've been lucky enough to start building up a nice clientele and welcome new customers. While I've always been more a doggy person and have a City & Guilds in Dog Walking and a Dog First Aid certificate, pet sitting opened the door to looking after cats too. Now, I have a better understanding of them and truly enjoy caring for them. Pet Sitting & Home Care While pet sitting, as well as caring for your pet, I also offer peace of mind for your property. As a responsible adult, I offer security for your property while you're away. I also take care of general household tasks such as watering plants, taking the bins out, and managing alarms and lights, etc. Location While I'm based in Sutton, Surrey, I often travel all over Surrey for sits. I have also travelled to Sussex and Kent in the past, so feel free to inquire. My days are now structured around providing dedicated pet care. Having previously worked for various dog walking companies, I've gained valuable experience in creating a reliable and consistent schedule for furry friends. Now, focusing on my own pet care services allows me to prioritise individual needs and build my routine around walks, playtime, and ensuring the well-being of the dogs in my care. When caring for pets in their own homes, my primary focus is to maintain their established routine and adhere strictly to the owner's instructions. I understand the importance of consistency for pets and aim to minimise any disruption to their usual schedule. During visits, I ensure they receive fresh food and water, administer any necessary medication, and provide ample opportunities for exercise and play as requested. For dog walking, I follow the owner's preferred routes and ensure a safe and enjoyable outing. I also take care of essential tasks like cleaning up after pets and ensuring their environment remains tidy. I provide regular updates to owners, including photos and messages, so they can feel reassured their pets are in good hands. I am always available to answer any questions or address any concerns and treat the owner's home with the utmost respect.

About: I have cared for many different animals for family & friends over the years as well as raising my own dog with my family from 8 weeks old, my dog was a lockdown dog and as a result suffers from separation anxiety which also makes her incredibly anxious around other people. She also resource guards which is a behaviour my family and I have spent the last three years trying to correct. I have been to many behaviour classes and one on one sessions therefore I feel more than capable to care for dogs who have behavioural needs that other sitters may be nervous about. I’m currently in year 13 and about to start my A-levels I finish school early on certain days but also have huge breaks during the day so have plenty of time to walk or play. I have some weekend and evening availability too if that works better. Whilst it would not be practical for me to house dogs in my own home or garden I firmly believe in keeping them safe at all times. I will listen to owner’s instructions and follow it to the letter - after all they know their dog best, other than that I wouldn’t leave them unsupervised for any period of time and ensure the environment itself it safe e.g. nothing on the floors ect

About: I have had cats all my life, as well as a dog, fish, a guinea pig and turtles. My parents taught me from a young age how to care for them and how to read their body language. Currently, I have one cat. A previous cat of mine was diabetic and I’ve learned how to give him insulin, alongside other medication to make him feel better. Whenever I get the chance, I like to take care of my friends’ dogs. I have work a couple of days a week, but I’m also off quite often so I’m very flexible, I can do week days as well as weekends. I feed my cats with dry and wet food, and give them snacks. I’ve also installed a cat tree for them to climb on and play. I play with my cats using their multiple toys several times a week.

About: I absolutely adore dogs, they genuinely make my soul happy. I’ve been looking after dogs pretty much my whole life. I grew up with a cocker spaniel, then had a pocket beagle and a bull mastiff. I love to train dogs and keep their minds stimulated. I’m currently working part time in a hospital in a surgical ward so the days I’m available your dogs will have my full attention. Lots of walks as I like to get my steps in. I have a fenced garden and I have trusted walk routes where they are peaceful. If your dog doesn’t like interacting with other dogs. Or I have routes where there are more dogs if they like to play

“Natalie is excellent and my dog loves the walks with her. She is reliable and her willingness to make it work goes beyond, even coming to meet us on a Sunday! We are absolutely delighted that she will be continuing to walk Flo for a long time and getting to know Natalie more as time progresses.”

About: I’ve had animals all my life. I grew up with dogs, cats and rabbits and the odd hamster, rat and fish. I have had my own cats as soon as I could when I moved into my own home. I worked in a veterinary practice over the last year but my contract has now finished. Before this I was a physiotherapist for 30 years specialising in children for the last 23 years but have made the decision to leave the NHS and branch into a new career/direction. I have done volunteer dog walking and cat sitting over the last year too and am just wanting to branch out now and increase my face to face pet care now I have more time. I have frequently looked after my neighbours pets whilst they are away. I am currently extremely flexible in my time for pet care. I am in between jobs at the moment so can do any time of day depending on your and your pets needs. I own my own home and have a safe fenced garden with no current pets of my own so this is all safe. I prefer to look after pets in their own home if it is for more than just a walk as I think they are more comfortable and settled. I can also house sit and ensure your home is safe and secure if you are away for more than a day.

“Professional and reliable, took excellent care of my dogs, highly recommended.”

Sharon B.
“Sharon is a caring and thoughtful person. She worked as a paediatric physio for several years looking after and treating young children and babies with serious conditions. Some of the parents even asked her to do some private work for them as she had built such a good rapport with them and their children. She has recently used her skills working as a receptionist for an out of hours vets and has also helped out a friend with her dog walking duties. Sharon has also had her own pets…either dogs and/or cats whilst she lived at home and then being adopted by a cat ‘Tinkerbell’ who decided she would rather live with Sharon than in her current crowded home - this was in full agreement with her original family who already had 3 other cats, 2 dogs and 2 children. Tinkerbell was loved and exceptionally well cared for by Sharon and had a good long life and Sharon would provide the same amount of care and attention for any animal/pet that was put in her care. Both my husband and I have named Sharon in our wills as one of the people to take on any pets that we may have at the time.”

Dan K.

“Professional and reliable, took excellent care of my dogs, highly recommended.”

“Calum has consistently done a great job cat sitting my Persian long hair cat. She is always very happy and normally shy with people but she very much feels comfortable in his care.”
