About: *WE ARE INCREDIBLY BUSY WITH BOOKINGS ON & OFF ROVER, IF OUR DIARY IS BLOCKED FOR THE DATES YOU NEED PLEASE POP US A MESSAGE* Myself & my partner Woody are both experienced pet owners. I am a nurse& Woody is a dog handler with experience training dogs, handling difficult dogs and providing all of their husbandry needs. Also experienced with veterinary care, from spotting signs of ill health to providing emergency care. Due to the nature of his work he is required to know and be proficient in dealing with any emergencies that may arise. We both have over 10 years experience looking after our families dogs & pets. Woody has a 5 year old daughter who we have every other weekend so obviously the dog/dogs would need to be okay with children if the days over lap & we have her. We’re a super chilled loving family who adore animals! I am currently in the process of leaving ward work and applying for jobs that are mostly work from home. We live 2 minutes away from Woodys work, he comes home for lunch and throughout the day so the dogs will rarely be left alone, if ever. We live in a 2 bed house with a completely fenced off medium sized garden with access to large fields to free run that are very close by. We both enjoy long walks & spending time outside so the dogs will fit into our lives easily. We live a 2 minute walk from Rutland Water which we enjoy taking the dogs round as it’s peaceful& provides long beautiful walks.

About: I have loved animals since a young age and I have lived with dogs my whole life and I couldn’t be without them. Being with them just makes me very happy. I have been looking after a dog in my village for a couple of years once every summer. I take her for a walk everyday and make sure to send the owner updates. She arrives and leaves me with a very happy smile and a wagging tail!! I love taking dogs on walks and watching them enjoy the outdoors. I can’t wait to get to know your dog and build a bond with them. I am currently working through a level 3 diploma in canine care, behaviour and welfare from home. So I have plenty of time to love and care for your dogs as my main priority. Tell me all about your dog and their routine so I can create a home from home for them to feel safe and welcome and you to feel at ease that your fur baby is being loved and cared for. I live in a small quiet village surrounded by plenty of fields and I have a large fenced garden for your dogs to use to whenever they need. I have 4 dogs myself ranging from 8 to 1 year so whatever the age of your dog I have a furry friend ready for them to play with. As you can imagine with 4 dogs I have a number of toy boxes which are completely full up of toys which your dog is welcome to play with if playing is something they enjoy! I will provide a safe, secure and loving environment for your dogs as I am at home full time so your dogs will never be left alone or unsupervised. Me and my dogs go and have new adventures in the many surrounding fields everyday, I change the walk up so they have new smells and routes to explore. They especially love the little stream that runs through the fields 🐾 * I am fully insured *

About: Hi! I’m Alex, your friendly local pet sitter, dog walker, and animal lover! Ever since I can remember, animals have been a huge part of my life — from caring for family dogs and cats to looking after rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, and even the occasional feathered friend! I genuinely believe every animal has its own unique personality, and I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. ⸻ ✅ What I Offer: • Dog walking: Solo or small group walks — tailored to your dog’s age, energy, and favourite routes. • Drop-in visits: Perfect for cats, puppies, or older pets who need feeding, fuss, playtime, or a quick garden break. • Pet sitting: Overnight stays in your home — keeping your pets comfortable in their own environment while giving you peace of mind. • Special care: I’m experienced giving basic medication and looking after senior pets or anxious animals. ⸻ 🐶🐱🐰 All Animals Welcome! Big or small, young or old — I care for: • Dogs (all breeds & temperaments) • Cats (including shy or indoor cats) • Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters • Birds & reptiles (basic care) • Any other small furries you love! ⸻ ❤️ Why Choose Me? • Reliable, respectful, and always punctual — your pets’ routines come first. • Regular updates with photos and messages so you can relax while you’re away. • I treat your pets like family — cuddles, enrichment, and lots of love guaranteed! • Flexible bookings and happy to tailor services to your needs. ⸻ 🌟 A Little About Me I’m Alex, based in Weldon. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have years of hands-on experience with a variety of pets — including my own! When I’m not caring for animals, I enjoy taking in the countryside, looking after my physical fitness and watching every cat/dog video that is humanely possible! ⸻ 🏡 Peace of Mind Your pets and your home will always be treated with the utmost care and respect. I am happy to provide a DBS check and references upon request. I offer a free meet & greet so we can get to know each other — and so your pets can meet me too! ⸻ 📲 Let’s Chat! If you’d like a reliable, friendly sitter or walker who truly loves animals, get in touch — I’d love to meet you and your furry family. Looking forward to giving your pets the love and care they deserve! 🐾✨ Pet care is a top priority in my daily and weekly routine, any dates you see available on my calendar are truly available for you and your pets. I plan my schedule around the animals I look after, not the other way around. Once your booking is confirmed, you can count on me 100%. I’m committed to giving your pets the care, attention, and love they deserve. I won’t let them down — ever! I am available for early morning, evening, and weekend pet care sessions, allowing me to accommodate your pet's needs without compromising on quality. I work closely with each pet owner to develop a detailed care plan, ensuring all specific requirements and routines are meticulously followed. During our initial consultation, we will discuss your pet’s needs in great detail, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions. This collaborative approach ensures that your pet receives consistent and loving care, seamlessly integrated into my routine. By maintaining a well-organised schedule and a strong commitment to pet care, I can provide reliable and dedicated service that fits both my lifestyle and your pet’s needs. Your pet's health and happiness are my top priorities, and I am here to support them whenever needed. When providing pet care in your home, I ensure that your pet remains in their familiar environment, which can greatly reduce stress and promote well-being. Here’s a detailed approach to how I care for pets in their own home: Scheduled Visits: I offer flexible scheduling for visits, whether it's multiple times a day or extended stays, to accommodate your pet's needs. We’ll discuss and agree on a routine that fits both your pet's and your schedule. Feeding and Hydration: I follow your pet's specific feeding schedule and dietary requirements, ensuring they have fresh water and appropriate food at the right times. Exercise and Playtime: I provide regular walks and play sessions tailored to your pet’s energy levels and preferences. This includes engaging in their favorite activities, whether it’s a brisk walk, fetch, or interactive indoor games. Routine Care: Daily tasks such as litter box cleaning, waste disposal, and general grooming are meticulously handled to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for your pet. Health Monitoring: I keep a close eye on your pet's health, looking for any signs of illness or distress. I am experienced in administering medications and providing any special care your pet may need. Comfort and Companionship: Ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and companionship to keep them happy and relaxed. I spend quality time with your pet, providing the love and care they need while you're away. Security and Safety: I make sure your home remains secure during my visits, following any specific instructions you provide regarding home security. Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I ensure all doors, gates, and windows are secure. Communication: I maintain open and frequent communication with you, providing updates, photos, and videos of your pet. This helps you stay connected and reassured that your pet is well-cared for. My goal is to ensure that your pet feels comfortable, secure, and loved in their own home, making your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

About: I'm a big believer in the saying 'home is where the dog is'. Having grown up surrounded by dogs (always had at least one in the home!), I have extensive experience of looking after dogs with all temperaments and personalities - particularly terriers! My mum has looked after dogs for as long as I can remember so I am also very understanding of everything that is needed to look after you furry friend. I treat every dog that I look after as if it were my own and love to build relationships with each of them that I look after. I love being outdoors and taking the dogs I look after out on our walking adventures. Working in a hybrid role, I can be really flexible about your needs if I know in advance. If boarding your dog in our home, it is highly unlikely that we will leave them alone for more than an hour. I work from the office 1-2 days per week, but if I am not at home then my partner will work from home instead. We can be flexible in our routines around the needs of your pet (and you!). For other pet care services, I can flex my week around what is needed. I am available to walk dogs in the mornings, lunchtimes, and evenings, depending on your preferences, and, if caring for the pet in their own home, I can pop around during the day to give them company and let them out for a wee. When caring for your dog, I will always take your lead on how best to do this; whether this is in your own home or my own. Before looking after your dog, I will ask you to let us know anything and everything you think might be helpful in looking after them i.e., their walk routine, when and what they eat, and all the other weird and wonderful quirks of your pet! It is unlikely that I will let your dog walk off the lead for the first few times that I care for them (even if you are confident they walk well off the lead), as I like to make sure we are both confident and trust one another before doing this! We live right by a large common and depending on the needs of the dog are happy to walk them up to three times a day, and love exploring further at the weekend! We do live in a flat with only a small outdoor space so please do be confident that you're dog will be happy in this environment. I am happy to accommodate for anything that helps to make your pet feel comfortable and happy. I would request that the pet brings their own bed and toys (perhaps even something that smells like home) to help them feel at home and comfortable while staying with me. If the pet is staying for an extended period of time, I would aim to meet them ahead of time and have them for a day to ensure they feel settled and comfortable in our home. I do also ask that your dog is registered to a vets who we can contact in case of any issues.

About: I have had various pets growing up - a dog since I was 11. I previously worked for a dog kennels, walking the dogs and helping with feeding and cleaning. Prior to using Rover, I had lots of experience looking after neighbours and friends dogs whilst they were away. I live with my boyfriend Petr who is also a big dog lover and helps me take care of the dogs we have round. I currently work freelance from home so have a flexible schedule. I like to travel but in between travelling I’m always eager to help with dog walking, drop in visits or home stays. I currently can’t offer home boarding at my own home as I live with my families pets, but hope to open this up again in the future. I always adapt to each pet/owner, when it comes to eating and daily routines, as I understand everyone and every dog is different. I will treat your dog with as much love and care as if they were my own. I care massively about the welfare and happiness of every animal I meet ❤️

Cordelia is amazing with her dogs. She loves them dearly and looks after them as you would a child! She is so experienced in looking after dogs from a few weeks old to ones in their twilight years! She knows just what the dogs need and spends most of her spare time with them. She is also completing a course on dog care so she knows theory and best ways to take care of dogs. Reliable, compassionate, and attentive. My animals adore him. Couldn't ask for better. Highly recommend to anyone seeking exceptional pet sitting services.

What an insightful caring walker Rachel is. We are looking to add a couple of people to the roster of dog walkers close to Brian and Rachel provided a terrific and engaging route for Brian over the hour he spent with her. We hope Brian will spend more time with Rachel over the coming weeks and months.

Megan has grown up in a household full of dogs, usually with one or two of our own plus whichever other dogs I am boarding at that time. All of regular dogs love Megan and are excited to see her whenever she is home. Megan has often been the sole carer for our own dogs and has frequently helped out with the dogs I board too. She has always ensured that they receive the love, attention, and exercise they need. Megan is a loving, responsible, and dedicated caregiver who is passionate about animals. Any pet in her care would be lucky to have her.

Evie was wonderful with our dog, Evie gained our dogs trust quickly, made sure she was walked, groomed, fed and treated her like one of the family for the duration of her stay. Our dog was a little reluctant to leave which was VERY unusual- she normally pines when were away, looses weight etc but she was extremely happy. Evie will be your dogs friend.

Katie looked after our Vizsla over a long weekend. I was a bit nervous about leaving her, as she normally comes everywhere with us. I didn’t have to worry. Coco had a great time and Katie sent photos of her having fun every day. Would highly recommend.

Rose takes really good care of animals. She has lived on farm her whole life and has been responsible for many animals. She has been front and centre of lambing every year since she was only 5 years old. Rose just loves pets so so much, especially dogs. Whenever I am with her she always wants to say hello to all that come by. I am certain that rose would be a fantastic pet caregiver.

I currently own a dog and he is my life I currently work part time: -Monday and Friday afternoons - Thursday mornings - Saturdays in the day - Sunday mornings I am free most week days and willing to work around my normal working hours I have an incredibly friendly and beautiful dog who loves to play. He is walked twice a day and constantly given attention. We love to play and mess around, running about the house and fields when we’re out I respect all properties and make sure that safety is at the forefront of all I do.
