“Milo really had a great time at Ella's. He was relaxed when we went to pick him up, and Ella shared photos throughout which reinforced her involvement in what she is doing. We have already booked another day for Milo with her :)”

“Mark & Sally looked after our dog Jago at very short notice, so that we could attend my sister's wedding. I feel very lucky to have found them - they were so welcoming to Jago and sent lovely updates throughout the day. Jago was sad to leave their house and had clearly been very happy during his stay there which included a long walk and lots of play and cuddles. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark & Sally for anyone needing support with their pup - a wonderful couple!”

About: I have always loved dogs and have had my own dog for nearly 5 years. I've done all his training with him and thoroughly enjoy taking him on long adventurous walks in nature. We have a calm home with access to a fully secure garden. I am very active and happy to go on as many walks as your dog needs. I will also have my own small and very friendly dog. He loves a good game of tug or just running around playing chase. I will take plenty of pictures and update you about your dog as I know it takes a lot of trust to leave your dog in the care of someone. I am home every evening, weekend and school holidays. Early morning walks are something I very much enjoy. I work school hours so can be available anytime around this. I have a fully secure garden and plenty of parks nearby. I have my own small dog, Scruff, who is a 5 years old Yorkie/Jack Russell mix and always up for a play. I have two secondary school aged children who adore dogs and love to spend time with them, playing with toys, going on walks or just a good cuddle!

About: We have an Irish setter and Cocker spaniel since puppyhood who both bring us a lot of joy and love. We also have a Norfolk Terrier who is now 12 years old and is showing his age I'm currently enjoying retirement but would like to do a bit more with my life as my wife is still working. Animal sitting would fill this gap .Our fur babies go for walks twice per day and in the summer months we go hiking for a few hours. They get lots of cuddles and treats which if you choose me will be given to your precious ones

About: I have had dogs my entire life and I have experienced in caring for senior dogs for example give medicines and eye drops. I also have a Dog First Aid certificate so I have the ability to quickly observe, judge and act when something happens. I work as a Japanese language teacher at my home so I have plenty of time to look after your dog. I have a beautiful and friendly Frenchy young girl now and we walk together two or three times a day in a field which is just behind my house with lots of other dogs. Also, we sometimes walk other big fields near by and canal side at weekends. I strive to create a loving environment like a family where your dog feels comfy and happy. I would like to answer your question, so please don’t hesitate to ask me. My garden is fully fenced and safe, gives your dog plenty of space to play. I offer to care for your dog in detached house with a large secure fully fenced garden. I will as much as possible stick to your dog’s daily routine such as their dinner times, and sleeping environment. My dog sleeps in a crate every night and your dog can do their own thing.

“Pippa is so lovely and kind. Harper was in good and safe hands. I have been updated within the day and looking my girl was having good time and enjoying. Definitely will be leaving Harper again with peace in mind.”

“It was poppys first time with Adam today and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I had lots of communication and photos throughout the day which put my mind at ease. She’ll definitely be coming back on a regular basis! Thanks Adam”

About: With years of hands on experience with my own dogs, I treat every dog like my own- offering patience, love and reliable care. I focus on building trust, understanding each dog’s personality, and making their time away from you stress-free. I have retired early from a long teaching career so I now have time on my hands to pursue other pleasures in life. My time is pretty flexible now on a weekly basis for daily dog walks and short or longer dog boarding in our lovely home. Our home has a walled secure garden. Dogs are free to roam around downstairs and come and go into the garden as they please. The kitchen tends to be the favourite place as there’s a warm range cooker on at all times. I also have a crate for dogs if they need a little space or time out! I have two elderly mini schnauzer’s and a old black lab who are all very laid back!

About: I have recently taken early retirement from a career at Guide Dogs. I do not accept pets that get on the furniture. Please complete your profile prior to sending a request. I worked in dog care for 37 years, most recently as a health and welfare specialist. I have owned my own Dogs for the majority of this. Most recently a rescue cross breed for 16 years from a puppy, who we sadly lost in January. I have also owned a retired Guide dog German shepherd and a rescue boxer. Also a cocker spaniel whilst growing up. I have extensive health and behaviour knowledge having enjoyed working with dogs since leaving school. I have also cared for many dogs in training, retired and working guide dogs, puppies and ill dogs in my home. I live in a semi detached house in a village location. Plenty of lovely countryside walks surround our home. Dog boarding is not new to me caring for friends dogs and working dogs. Having recently taken early retirement aged 55, I have plenty of time to dedicate to walking and caring for dogs in my home. I live in a semi detached home in a village location. I have a fully fenced garden that backs directly onto a field. I have a husband Lee at home, two adult children, one of which Joe has just moved into his own home and the other Zoe who is at uni. All of whom love dogs. We have no pets at present.

About: My bond with dogs began unexpectedly—through rescuing an injured Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix. In November 2015, a small golden dog appeared at the entrance of my apartment building, walking only on his two front legs, almost like performing a circus act. After observing him, I realized he had no owner. Occasionally, when his hind legs touched the ground, he would let out a heart-wrenching whimper. I suspected he was injured and had come to seek help, but at the time, I didn’t know how to assist him properly. I immediately contacted a neighbour who had experience with dogs. We together took the injured dog to the hospital. The resilience and healing ability of animals is truly remarkable. After ten days of treatment, he recovered—he was able to walk using all four legs again, although still a bit unsteadily. From that moment on, he became a new member of my family. I prepared his meals with mashed chicken breast, carrots, broccoli, potatoes and eggs, which helped with his digestion and recovery. Before long, he made a full recovery and became my 7-year-old daughter’s beloved companion. Since then, I have rescued three more puppies, all of whom were once strays. They are the three you see in the photos: a black-and-white one named Spot, a tricolor one named Misu, and a golden-colored girl similar to a Golden Retriever named Fluffy. As they grew up, due to limited living space, I couldn’t keep them with me forever, so I had to make the difficult decision to find each of them a new, loving owner. I have been living and working in the UK for three years now, and I really miss the days when dogs surrounded me. When I worked, they would lie at my feet. When I curled up on the sofa to read, they would inevitably jump up and squeeze in beside me. When I cooked, of course, they had to follow me around, waiting for their share. What I loved most was taking them out for walks—they would chase each other across the grass, competing to fetch the tennis balls I threw far away. It was only today, when applying to become a pet sitter on Rover, that I realized with regret that I don’t have much photos of myself with my dogs (I found only one)! It’s almost unbelievable, but it’s true. I’m not someone who enjoys taking selfies, so I only kept many photos of my cats and dogs, or pictures of them with my daughter. I hope this doesn’t make you doubt my love for animals. So, if you want your dogs to feel happy and relaxed when you’re not around, let them come to my home. Just be careful—they might not want to go back with you afterward. My work schedule is flexible, and I can complete some tasks remotely, so your fur baby will always have my company. I love having them wander around freely and snuggle up next to me. I believe we’ll be great companions for each other. I live in a newly built apartment building, and it’s completely dry and not humid. There’s a grassy area downstairs where dogs can run around. Of course, I always keep them on a leash during walks to ensure their safety.

“Olivia took care of our puppy at short notice; she was really friendly and he came back so happy he didn't want to leave! Oliva gave regular updates on what he was doing throughout the day , which helped put out mind at ease. I will be 100% using Olivia again!”

“I would highly recommend Nataly to anybody that would need somebody to look after their dog or puppy while at work. She has sent photos and given updates throughout both days Luna has been with her so far, and has also given me some tips on how to keep her burning energy even when she is eating, which is great considering Luna is a very energetic 9 week old puppy. This was my first time arranging anything like this, so I was anxious at first but I am very glad that I have found Nataly to look after Luna. Luna has come back home happy each time and I will definitely be arranging more days for Luna to see Nataly!!”

“What a wonderful couple!! Firstly, as we were leaving our dog for the first time with Emma and Nick they arranged a small meet and greet for their dog to get to know ours. The play date went very well and both the dogs got along great - Bodie is a beautiful and kind dog as well so we had no concerns at all. Then on the day of the sitting , they sent us so many wonderful pictures, took great care of our dog , took him for a couple of amazing walks , gave him plenty of belly rubs treats and love. Our dog came back happy and tired which is always a great sign. Emma and Nick are truly very kind people and wonderful dog sitters - the best thing about them is that they will look after your dog like it's their own and there isn't much more you can ask for from someone sitting your dog. 10/10 would highly recommend!”

“Our dog George had an amazing time with Katie and the others dogs she was sitting for. We had lots of updates throughout the day. He was shattered when I picked up, a sign of a fun filled active day! Thank you for having him”

“Laura was amazing with my slightly anxious cockapoo Ziggy, she took time to come and meet us before even bringing treats for him and sent lots of updates while I was out so I could see he was happy and having all the cuddles! Thank you so much, would 10/10 recommend xx”

Laura S.
“Laura is a close friend and my running partner and regularly meet up for runs or walks with our dogs. We met during Covid as we lived near each other and would often pass each other during runs or at a council/ran dog park close by. Our dogs formed an instant friendship and would chase each other over the field. This was unusual as my dog, Saffie is a rescue dog and is very nervous around people and other dogs. She suffers from epilepsy and has minor attacks at least once a month. For this reason I need someone that not only I can trust but also Saffie trusts too As a result, Laura has subsequently looked after Saffie on many occasions, and she is always excited when we meet up for walks. (Saffie I mean). She would make an excellent dog sitter in my opinion”

Gary B.Star Sitter
“I know Sue and Gary as very dear friends. We often spend weekends with them and their crazy, beautiful pet family. Cassie, Nelly and Eddie are their children and not their dogs. These animals are loved beyond anyone have ever seen. Not only do they have the 3 dogs but are also parents to rescued turtles and MIA their aristocratic cat. If I had pets that needed to be cared for, I would only use Gary and Sue.”
