“Paul house sat and cared for our golden retriever for a week and we can't recommend him highly enough. He bonded with Willow immediately and she clearly had a great time whilst we were away to the extent that she hardly welcomed us on our return! All communications with him were excellent and he sent us daily pictures and videos so we could see what fun she was having! Paul clearly loves dogs and his calm manner was exactly what Willow needed. He also left the house spotlessly clean and tidy. We've definitely found Willow's new best friend and have already booked him for future trips.”

About: Wherever I am, there’s usually a dog in my company. Preferably, several. They make life better! Adopting dogs has allowed me to fully appreciate the joy of canine company. I’ve been a dog parent for over 10 years, during which time I’ve looked after other lots of dogs - from dachshunds to jack Russell’s, cockapoos and corgis. My own dogs are well socialised, and dog sitting is a good way to have fun getting to know new breeds and personalities. I’m a writer and illustrator, which gives me the flexibility to welcome dogs into my home and take lunchtime walks and breaks according to what the dogs need. My boyfriend Richard also works at home around twice per week. We live within walking distance of Thompson’s and Bute parks in Cardiff, as well as Leckwith and Sanitorium Park so any dog guests in my care will be taken on trips to some of these - plus beach visits if they're staying for longer. Dinas Powys woods is another favourite walking spot during Spring and Summer. My phone camera is full of dog photography, I'll be happy to try to get some good snaps of your dog too. They’ll be welcomed as part of the family during their stay, and looked after with the same high level of care, attention, exercise and hugs as if they were my own. My day job allows me the time and flexibility for breaks and play, plus I'm happy to fit longer walks into my evenings depending on your dog’s needs. I have a walled garden which is completely secure for small to medium dogs. My dogs plus any guests tend to sleep in my home office during the day, and the living room during the evening. I am used to ensuring my own dogs are safe and secure, with harnesses, leads, and collars that carry their information.

About: I've been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. I pet sat during university and my masters, as well as when I first graduated. I am now back as I miss it and want to meet more pets again. I have my own two dogs and love taking them on the best days out When I house sit I am more than happy to take care of domestic needs too such as gardening, plant care and cleaning, as I know how important it is to come home to a clean house! Please message me for more bespoke requests as Rover can only list so much, but I am more than happy to try to accommodate your animals as much as possible! I currently work for myself as a clothing embroiderer so my schedule is relatively relaxed and can fit around your pet and their needs 😊 I have a fenced garden so my dogs are always safe and secure, and my rabbits also have a hutch and a run to make sure they're safe

I’ve been dog and cat sitting for around 3 years and absolutely love having dogs around! I’m friendly, caring and treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel happy, safe and settled while you’re away.
I offer home visits, dog walking, home boarding and can also stay at your home if you prefer. I'm experienced in looking after smaller and larger dogs as well as puppies and older dogs with health issues. I'm also experienced with dogs who may be a bit more scared and unsure than others or who need to stay on the lead. I'm also able to give oral medication if required. 
I’m always happy to stick to your pets usual routine, whether that means early morning walks for dogs, regular toilet breaks, meals at specific times or plenty of naps throughout the day. I’m also completely happy for pets to sleep on the bed or sofa if that’s what they’re used to and I want them to feel as comfortable as possible!

I live in a two bedroomed house which is quiet, with no children or pets. My home has a secure outdoor area and is surrounded by lots of green space for long walks . Happy to look after pets at my own home, I am also happy to travel and stay at your home as I work from home. 

I have 3 years experience of having dogs to stay at my home and have also looked after many cats and dogs at their own homes in south wales and London. 
For dogs, walks can be tailored to whatever they need, from gentle strolls to longer walks, maybe even a run if that's something they love and there’s always plenty of time for playing, endless ball throwing, cuddles and attention. 

I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust and how scary it can also be so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while they’re with me. I'm also more than happy to come and meet your pets to introduce myself and go through any questions you have. 

Your pets will get lots of love, attention and plenty of fuss while you’re away! I currently work from home so Im able to stay with your pets all day if needed. Walks can be offered in the morning, evening or lunch time as well as regular toilet breaks throughout the day I have a secure patio area and I’m also surrounded by green space including parks for long walks in the countryside. I have also looked after dogs and cats in other peoples homes within south wales and London over the past few years. I’m happy to do odd jobs around the house whilst you are away as well if required
