About: I am a passionate and dedicated dog lover with years of experience in canine care. I take my dog out 3 times a day and wish he has friends to walk with and play with during our outings. We like to go for long walks: in the woods, at the sea... Your furry friend's enjoyment and safety are my top priority, making every walk a delightful and fulfilling experience. I am currently working from home, mainly online. Therefore I am pretty flexible and I often have some time available in the morning and early afternoon to go out with my dog. We live close to two big parks so lots chances to explore and sniff and they get to play with our Bleiddyn if they want too.
“Louise was really friendly and patient with our dog. He's often quite nervous of meeting strangers but we could see that he warmed to her really quickly and was happy when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend!”

“Florrie has made some great new friends. Christine and Fean have been wonderful sitters and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. Florrie was well cared for and happy as can be. Lovely people, lovely dogs.”

“Nia looked after my dog cookie for the day and Nia was great! I liked that Nia provided the Rover card so I could see what they had been up to, including lots of cuddles and a nice walk. Would definitely recommend!”

“Hannah seems to have magic energy. Our Bella loved her instantly and settled in much quicker than with other people usually. Hannah sent photos and videos of their day together, showing a very happy dog. Wouldn't hesitate a second to book daycare with her again.”

“I've left my dog Cookie with Edward a couple of times and she always has a great time, she doesn't even want to leave! I would happily leave my dog with him again and recommend Edward to anyone 😊”

About: I have over 20 years of experience owning and caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, from small companion dogs to large, energetic breeds. I currently have two friendly dogs of my own — Bella, a 5 year old Labradoodle, and Barney, a 3 year old Labrador. Both are well socialised, gentle and love the company of other dogs. Over the years I’ve gained experience with: • Puppies and reinforcing basic training • High energy breeds that need mental and physical stimulation • Larger, strong dogs • Nervous or shy dogs that need reassurance • Following strict feeding schedules and routines • Administering oral medication if required I understand how important it is to leave your dog somewhere safe and loving. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I work from home full time, five days a week, which means your dog will have constant company and supervision throughout the day. They will not be left alone for long periods. Our daily routine includes garden playtime, enrichment and a 60 to 90 minute walk each day, either on or off lead depending on recall ability and your preference. I am flexible with drop off and collection times where possible. Your dog will stay in a calm, clean, non smoking family home with a fully secure fenced garden for safe outdoor play. I have two friendly, well socialised dogs, Bella and Barney, who love the company of other dogs. Any visiting dog must be comfortable around other dogs. Dogs are fed separately to avoid stress, and I can crate your dog if needed. I closely follow owner instructions regarding feeding, routines and medication to ensure your dog feels safe, settled and at home.
“My little dachshund Efa has now had several stays with Kate and her lovely lurchers. Efa can be quite nervous around other dogs and new people but at the first meeting, Kate was so relaxed and calm, we both felt comfortable straight away. Kate sent me photographs of Efa happily curled up on her lap which was very reassuring. Wally and Barney were very friendly and gentle with my much smaller dog and she had a great time playing with them. I cannot recommend Kate highly enough and it’s great to see Efa jumping out of the car and charging up the drive to see her new friends ❤️”

“Emma is amazing! We’ve progressed from quick drop in visits, to longer walks and this time Bayek spent the whole day at Emma’s home. He appeared to have a great time. Emma sent lots of photos and videos and he looked happy and was having fun. He was exhausted when he got home which definitely indicates a good day!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
