About: I had my first family dog, a little Jack Russell x Labrador named Sandy at the age of 11 and realised that dogs really are more than pets, they're a part of the family. I loved every moment with her from going on our daily walks to snuggling up on the sofa. She was so special to me as im sure yours are to you! My goal is to work 0800-1500 Monday- Friday around the Tiverton area. That includes walks, sit ins, feeds ect. Boarding will be difficult at my home as we have a cat also. I grew up on a farm and have always had a lot of animals in my life. My partner and I have 4 beautiful rescue dogs and 3 cats and I can’t imagine a world without them. We live in a spacious detached house in the countryside with a large fenced garden and a 4 acre secure field. We also have lovely footpaths right outside our door which are beautiful and full of smells for dogs to enjoy! I’ve recently started a dog behaviour degree following my fostering and rescue work and hope this is something that will help me to support other dogs in future. For work, I’m an animal care assistant in rescue and was previously a qualified nurse. I also run a natural dog treat business on the side called Bark & Bramble and we own Waggy Trails Dog Park in Loxbeare. It’s fair to say every day revolves around animals in a variety of ways! We are able to walk in the mornings or go to the field, have a shorter lunchtime walk and a longer one again in the evening. We also enjoy playing enrichment games and using our dogs sense of smell to help them learn and relax, but we equally love curling up on the sofa in front of the fire! We’re super flexible though, and we will happily accommodate your pets’ needs and routine. Our pups are pretty laid back and happy to go along with what we’re doing on the day. We have a securely fenced garden and dogs will always be supervised. Our dogs are friendly and love playing with others, and we always ensure dogs have an introductory walk up the lane when the visitor arrives. This helps them to learn about each other and become friends as they would do naturally. We have experience of reactive and anxious dogs through both fostering and personal experience (ours were badly treated and are anxious of new people) so we are patient, calm and adaptable to their needs. There is always a quiet room and a covered crate for anyone that needs it, and they can have the level of attention that suits them. Aside from the dogs, we have 3 cats and an Axolotl. The cats are good with dogs and they’re used to having the odd foster cat join us too. They have their own place to go to when they want space, and any cat staying with us would have their own room to go to with a cat tower, tray and food. We have tall dog gates on the lounge to keep the dogs and cats separate if needed. I’ve had a lot of experience with smaller pets including rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, chickens, and exotics, as well as many larger animals on the farm. So whatever pet you have and whatever their needs are, I’ll do my best to make them feel more happy and secure if you’re busy or on holiday. I know it can be a stressful time for all of you. If I go to your home to help out, I will treat your animals and home as respectfully as my own. Home visits - Each visit will be at least 30mins. Dog Walking - I'm happy to travel around the Tiverton/Witheridge/Bampton/Silverton area for dog walking. About: Ive taken care of various different animals over the years beginning when I was 8 with my very first pet. Ive taken care of different breeds of dogs ranging from woldhounds all the way down to dachshunds. My garden is very large with a field just round the back of the house. Currently there are other caged pets in and outside my house such as birds, a rabbit & a Lizard. I currently work a zero-hour contract so I decide when I would like to work so I will have plenty of time to play and entertain your pups. My garden is fenced in and all pets that live in the house have a designated area either outdoors or in a room where your pet cannot get a hold of them. For car journeys I have designated safety features for every size dog. Bigger dogs will usually either go in the crates or be harnessed to the seats. The dogs will NEVER be allowed in my vehicle without some sort fo safety feature.

I own a 4 year old Jack Russell who is very friendly and will be a play mate for your fur baby. *Please note I am unable to take female dogs that aren't spayed due to my Jack Russell being a full dog* Thanks I work full-time office based, however my partner works full time but his shift pattern varies week by week. Our availability will primarily be Friday-Sunday, but there will be flexibility if required/needed. I have a fenced garden. I own a Jack Russell, so your dog will have a friend to play with. However I know there are times where you can't see them, whether that's a day out, work or a holiday and that's where I come in! About: I’ve had working Springer Spaniels in the home my whole life and started helping out with them as soon as I was old enough to! They are my babies, I have also cared for many of my friends and family’s pets across the years. Some with a dairy farm I grew up visiting, my dad keeps bees there. Some neighbours with an old tortoise called torts! Dogs of all sizes, from st Bernese to jack russels. I work 4 days a week between the hours of 8-6 shift start and end times changing daily so will be out of the home for 7-9 hours a day but if the home is in Exeter I can come back on my break to let pets out etc and can walk pets before and after work easily! I will play with the person or take them for walks, or merely spend time in their company if they’re a more slow living pet! Feeding, any medications needed, keeping water refreshed are all given priorities in my care. I am open to most forms of care as I understand every pet has very differing needs!

About: Ive been around dogs all my life and love taking care of them! I have a cocker spaniel of my own called Benson who adores all dogs. I’m currently at university, but i have a very flexible schedule. I’m free in the week and weekends with notice. I have a dog if my own, Benson, a cocker spaniel, so i am use to working my schedule around my dog anyway! I live in a house with a spacious private garden and live close to many dog parks and lovely walks! We are happy to have them roam free in the house or to have a crate for overnight stays as long as they are house trained ☺️

About: Always had dogs in our family, moved out 10 years ago and had my own dog, but after relationship breakdown I no longer have the dog and miss the companionship and caring for a dog, but can’t have my own again at the moment. I only work 3 days a week in the weekend, so have plenty of time for cuddles, walks and play time. About: I've always grown up with dogs and am a dog mum of own, I am passionate about looking after and caring for dogs, horses! I love being outside and exploring places. I've been fortunate enough to support litters of puppies that have come into my family. From teaching them to sit and wait for food to throwing and catching a ball. I am a passionate when it comes to worming and always time for a cuddle at the end! I adore animals and would really love to opportunity to be your dog walker or pet sitter. Plus my dog adores company of other dogs! I am currently unemployed and looking to find a career where I can be adaptive to all, working days, evenings and weekends. I want to be able to study and can fit this all in with a therapeutic down time to walk the dogs so they can have the exercise, company and care they need. I would also be happy to have overnight stays at my house and stay at others. I am at a stage in my life now were I want to be more flexible and less stressed in a 9-5. I have my own garden space were this is big enough to roam. Which my dog Bella loves. I am in a small cottage so there is quiet cold nights sat by a woodburner to wondering around the house with a toy. I care for my dog in multiple ways and I may not have been a dog walker or sitter ever before but I love the thought of being able to help someone out. My dog sometimes will have a rinse in the shower, yes this is my own shower but at least I can do it at cheap price. She has dinner and breakfast, grain fee biscuits and meat. Cannot be chicken though. So I have understanding of allergies. We have wonderful walking trails around near my house so plenty of exercise to little strolls. I am new to Chagford although I am always looking for a new adventure.
