About: I’ve had the joy of pet sitting for a variety of dog breeds, from gentle Great Danes to playful little sausage dogs. I absolutely adore dogs—they bring me so much happiness, and I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, or playtime, I treat every pup like part of the family. Giving them a home away from home isn’t just my job—it’s something I genuinely love doing. As a remote worker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer dog walks throughout the day. Since I work from home and spend most of my time there, I can easily fit in lunchtime walks, evening strolls, or whatever best suits your pup’s routine. Whether it’s a quick midday outing or a longer walk after work, I’m happy to provide regular exercise and company for your dog. It fits perfectly into my lifestyle—and I genuinely love every moment of it! As someone who truly cares about animals, safety and trust are always my top priorities. You can count on me to be reliable, responsible, and attentive to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s sticking to their routine, keeping a close eye during walks, or simply giving them comfort while you’re away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. With me, your furry friend will always be in safe and loving hands.

About: I've had dogs in my life for more than 20 years, both as an owner and family pets. They are wonderful, beautiful friends and companions I run my own business from home so am around virtually all the time. Our family works together to make sure your dog is treated as if it's our own. My whole family - wife & daughter - are dog lovers. If boarding, we will care for your special friend as if it's our own. If sitting I would respect your home and the environment your dog is used to.

About: I had my first family dog, a little Jack Russell x Labrador named Sandy at the age of 11 and realised that dogs really are more than pets, they're a part of the family. I loved every moment with her from going on our daily walks to snuggling up on the sofa. She was so special to me as im sure yours are to you! My goal is to work 0800-1500 Monday- Friday around the Tiverton area. That includes walks, sit ins, feeds ect. Boarding will be difficult at my home as we have a cat also. I'll happily travel to a clients home and sit in with their pet. I have passed a CPD certified course to ensure the level of care i offer is beyond sufficient.

About: **Get £15 off your first booking with the code KATIE87093** *Currently offering drop ins only* Hi, I'm Katie. I'm 36 and I live in a lovely hamlet in the countryside near Tiverton. I grew up on a farm and have always had a lot of animals in my life. My partner and I have 4 beautiful rescue dogs and 3 cats and I can’t imagine a world without them. We live in a spacious detached house in the countryside with a large fenced garden and a 4 acre secure field. We also have lovely footpaths right outside our door which are beautiful and full of smells for dogs to enjoy! I’ve recently started a dog behaviour degree following my fostering and rescue work and hope this is something that will help me to support other dogs in future. For work, I’m an animal care assistant in rescue and was previously a qualified nurse. I also run a natural dog treat business on the side called Bark & Bramble and we own Waggy Trails Dog Park in Loxbeare. It’s fair to say every day revolves around animals in a variety of ways! We are able to walk in the mornings or go to the field, have a shorter lunchtime walk and a longer one again in the evening. We also enjoy playing enrichment games and using our dogs sense of smell to help them learn and relax, but we equally love curling up on the sofa in front of the fire! We’re super flexible though, and we will happily accommodate your pets’ needs and routine. Our pups are pretty laid back and happy to go along with what we’re doing on the day. We have a securely fenced garden and dogs will always be supervised. Our dogs are friendly and love playing with others, and we always ensure dogs have an introductory walk up the lane when the visitor arrives. This helps them to learn about each other and become friends as they would do naturally. We have experience of reactive and anxious dogs through both fostering and personal experience (ours were badly treated and are anxious of new people) so we are patient, calm and adaptable to their needs. There is always a quiet room and a covered crate for anyone that needs it, and they can have the level of attention that suits them. Aside from the dogs, we have 3 cats and an Axolotl. The cats are good with dogs and they’re used to having the odd foster cat join us too. They have their own place to go to when they want space, and any cat staying with us would have their own room to go to with a cat tower, tray and food. We have tall dog gates on the lounge to keep the dogs and cats separate if needed. I’ve had a lot of experience with smaller pets including rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, chickens, and exotics, as well as many larger animals on the farm. So whatever pet you have and whatever their needs are, I’ll do my best to make them feel more happy and secure if you’re busy or on holiday. I know it can be a stressful time for all of you. If I go to your home to help out, I will treat your animals and home as respectfully as my own. I find it hard to trust others with my furry family so I’m always conscious of personalising care and doing the very best I can to support you and your pets. I’m always happy to stay in touch with texts, calls and photos. Whatever you need to put your mind at ease. If you need any help with watering plants, post, or anything similar, I'm happy to do this on home visits too. Kate x Services: Day Care - Includes 2 walks which can vary in length depending on your dogs needs and can include a trip to our secure dog field. There will be play time and plenty of attention. Dogs are welcome to join us on the sofa or lounge in front of the fire. They are always welcome to try some of my natural treats and I'm happy to support you with basic training and tricks! Home visits - Each visit will be at least 30mins. I can let dogs/cats out, feed, water, change trays, give medication, water plants, tend to small pets, bring in post, turn lights on/off, close curtains, anything you need. Time can be flexible. Dog Walking - I'm happy to travel around the Tiverton/Witheridge/Bampton/Silverton area for dog walking. The walk can be tailored to your dog, whether that's a slow and steady plod around, an off road adventure somewhere new, or something more quiet for an anxious dog. If you have a puppy I can do short walks to suit their development and ensure they don't over exert their joints. We've had a lab with hip dysplasia, so we're always aware that each dog will have different requirements. Let me know if your dog has a favourite ball, toy or treats to take on their adventure too! Dog walking price is per hour. If your dog only requires 30mins I'm happy to spend some time with them before or after their walk - if they want cuddles, a game, or a treat, let me know :) Dog Sitting - The start time can be arranged with you but this would normally be around 6pm-10am the next morning. This would include an evening and morning walk, feeds, and anything else needed for other pets. If you need me to do anything to look after your home while you're away, don't hesitate to get in touch. Qualifications and Experience: Animal Care Assistant in rescue Registered Nurse - Achieved a 1st Level 5 degree in Dog Behaviour - In progress Psychology Bsc (including animal behaviour) - 2:1 Worked for a foreign rescue Fostered both dogs and cats - some very anxious, some with training and health needs. I run my own natural dog treat business - Bark & Bramble. Good understanding of health and nutrition. Currently setting up a secure dog field and sensory garden. I am DBS checked and have public liability insurance. I have a clean driving license and a car with dog seat belts. A crate can be used if required. If you have any questions at all, please pop me a message! You can get £15 off your first booking with the code KATIE87093 I work in rescue and am currently able to offer early morning or afternoon drop ins on working days, but I can be flexible on days off. I know all animals needs are different and have experience with anxiety and reactivity, so I will always adapt my interactions to suit them. I will care for them exactly as you wish in both my own home and yours - you know them and their needs better than anyone.

About: Ive taken care of various different animals over the years beginning when I was 8 with my very first pet. Ive taken care of different breeds of dogs ranging from woldhounds all the way down to dachshunds. My garden is very large with a field just round the back of the house. Currently there are other caged pets in and outside my house such as birds, a rabbit & a Lizard. I currently work a zero-hour contract so I decide when I would like to work so I will have plenty of time to play and entertain your pups. My garden is fenced in and all pets that live in the house have a designated area either outdoors or in a room where your pet cannot get a hold of them. For car journeys I have designated safety features for every size dog. Bigger dogs will usually either go in the crates or be harnessed to the seats. The dogs will NEVER be allowed in my vehicle without some sort fo safety feature.

About: I have looked after both dogs & horses for friends and family and also owned both all of my life. Your dog will be treated as if they are part of the family. I own a 4 year old Jack Russell who is very friendly and will be a play mate for your fur baby. *Please note I am unable to take female dogs that aren't spayed due to my Jack Russell being a full dog* Thanks I work full-time office based, however my partner works full time but his shift pattern varies week by week. Our availability will primarily be Friday-Sunday, but there will be flexibility if required/needed. I have a fenced garden. I own a Jack Russell, so your dog will have a friend to play with. If your dog is required to be in a routine then this is no problem. I am very happy to adapt to your dogs lifestyle and how they are treated at home. There is plenty of open space around my area for walking.

About: I have always had dogs and cats in the family to look after. I have looked after dogs of all different sizes and many different temperaments. Dogs make the house a home. However I know there are times where you can't see them, whether that's a day out, work or a holiday and that's where I come in! I am looking forward to meeting your dogs, I find they are better company than people! I'm on my summer break from Uni at the moment so am available most days throughout the week and weekends to help look after your dogs and cats. To keep the animals safe, I make sure to always use the right leashes, follow all rover guidelines but most importantly follow the owner's advice and instructions to look after the pet as they know them best!

Hilary R.
“After knowing Hilary for many years I can honestly say she is one of the kindest, most caring people I know. We met working with adults with learning difficulties where she showed her compassion and nurturing nature. This follows through to her love for all animals- big and small. I would be more than happy to ask Hilary to care for any of my beloved pets as I know they’d receive not only the best of care but also lots of love!”

Amber R.
“I can’t recommend Amber enough. Her love for animals is unconditional. Amber has demonstrated this by having a strong bond and love for animals from just a few months of age. Shes grown up with animals around her including cats, dogs and her first pet being a hamster! She also studied at Bicton college working along side horses which Amber has always been fond of. She studied hard achieving an impressive grade. The only job I feel Amber felt comfortable and at home with was when she worked for a cattery in Whimple which were always overwhelmed with her dedication and love to the cats. I’m sure the owners would be happy to vouch for this. Anyone that chooses Amber to look after their pets will be able to relax and rest assure that they will be well looked after. :)”

Ever since, they have been so happy as have I. They have lovely walks and get so excited when Andrew arrives each day and clearly already are smitten!. It so reassuring knowing I have such a lovely person taking care of my treasured dogs whilst I'm at work.”
