“Marcus was a pleasure to meet and I was very happy with the care he gave my elderly, blind cat. She is very wary of strangers since losing her sight but he was patient and kind and quickly won her over! Marcus sent sweet pictures and regular updates; I'd recommend him to anyone! Many thanks, Marcus.”

“Anna has been amazing with our dog, she clearly loves animals and is very reliable. Anna has gone over and above to help us and our dog always loves their walks. Thank you!”

“Amy was fantastic with Beanz! She communicated clearly throughout, and made the whole process stress-free. She spent time playing with Beanz, and it was obvious he was happy and well cared for. She also kept his food and water bowls clean, and I came back to a tidy kitchen. I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future, highly recommended!”

“I've had a wonderful experience with Gintare as my cat sitter. She is very attentive, performing both morning and evening drop-ins without fail. Her communication has been great, keeping me updated and reassured with regular messages and photos of my cat. I highly recommend Gintare to any pet owner looking for a reliable and caring sitter who clearly loves animals.”

About: From Guinea Pigs to cockatoos Ive looked after them all. I’ve had a cat, rabbit, and several Guinea pigs over the years. In addition 4 dogs with 3 of them being labradors, my last dog was a staffy Bennie as shown in the picture. They were all part of the family. I’m semi retired & an Avon lady, I love animals in particular dogs, I wouldn’t be able to manage an extra large dog, ie a Great Dane or Roti as my home would be to small. I’m happy to care for your pet in my own home which is secure. With 4 walls and a gate, with decking straight out from the kitchen and gates both ends I’m around to feed, play and walk you dog or cuddle your cat and chat to your parrot. I no longer have my own pet as he passed 18 months ago so this is an ideal way of getting my pet fix that also leaves me with some flexibility

“Elissa proved to be a excellent choice to look after my old, blind cat. She is friendly, reliable, clearly loves animals and I felt totally happy leaving Hoshi in her care. I came home to a very relaxed and happy cat. I would highly recommend Elissa!”

About: I grew up with rescue dogs and cats but my adult lifestyle never fit with having my own. So, to get my doggy fix I've walked and house sat for dogs, of all sizes and many different breeds, for friends, for work and through another app. Bernese and Hovawart, Weimaraner and whippet, as well as crossbreeds and my favourites, cocker spaniels. I'm forever stopping my run to pet someone's doggy. Happy to look after cats too and a kitty cuddle is always a bonus. I'm currently studying with open university and have found housesitting and dog walking fit perfectly with studying. I run and walk lots and enjoy adventuring with a furry companion. I am happy to travel to house/dog sit for a week or more. However, I prefer to only accept dog walking clients closer to my home near Newhaven, East Sussex. I enjoy taking care of doggies in their own home, where their routines often do not need to change much. In a previous career I spent many years managing high end private chalets and villas as well as working on superyachts, so I have experience and references in taking great care of your property as well as your doggies.

“Dianne is great with my slightly nervous cats, kept them happy for the week while I was away, went above and beyond to keep things all tidy & clean!”

About: Me and my wife are both quite outdoorsy people. Most of the dog behavior issues are from excessive energy. So I believe all tired dogs are good dogs. We hike a lot as we had a border collie for 15 years. Training is also important. I believe all dogs can be trained. We just have to be consistent with it. Doing bit by bit everyday. I’m currently working from home. So my hours are based on my puppy’s schedule. Feeding her 8am in the morning and then walk her right after. Bathroom breaks every couple of hours if we’re not out and about, Last walk of the day at 10:30pm before everyone in the house goes to bed. We found her better behave as we stick to the schedule as much as we can. There’s some basic elements in every household that a dog needs if we recognize them and fit in to our lifestyle, it is the same anywhere we live.

About: Hi, I’m Sunny! I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs—they bring so much joy, and I genuinely love being around them. Whether it’s going for walks, or just providing cuddles and comfort, I treat every dog as if they were my own. You can count on me to be reliable, caring, and attentive to your dog’s unique needs. I know how important it is to feel confident your pet is in good hands, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have 2 degrees in Wildlife Conservation, as my love and passion for animals is my whole life. I have often cared for the pets of family and friends prior to joining Rover, and have looked after a variety of different animals. They trusted me to walk, feed and keep their pets company from a young age, as I have always been happiest around animals! I am currently in the Telscombe area. I also drive and have access to my own vehicle. My calendar is always updated with my latest availability. Unfortunately, I cannot offer pets to stay in my home as I have a very nervous rescue dog. However, I am more than happy to come to your home and keep pets company!

About: I’m a recently graduated veterinary surgeon so extremely well-trained in animal care. Outside of my work I have owned dogs from a young age up until recently. My own dogs have mainly been terriers but I have gained a wide experience with a variety of breeds throughout my studies. I’m currently on an interim before starting my job so have a lot of free time within the week and weekends for pet care and boarding. I have a securely fenced garden and currently have no other pets in the house. I have the capacity to house a crate if needed but would need to be supplied by the owner. I live in a housing estate in close proximity to the South Downs national park with plenty of walking opportunities.

“Clarrisa did a fantastic job looking after my cat while I was away. Communication was prompt and clear throughout which put my mind at ease. On the visit I recieved a detailed report, including photos from Clarissa of how my cat was and the important playtime she had. Thank you Clarissa for looking after my little baby!”

About: I grew up with a cat name Isis and a Shi Tzu called Cheddar and I really miss them. My current job makes it impossible to have my own pets for now as I would have to leave them alone at least 2 days a week. But I would love to walk and sit for pets 3 times a week, at weekends and potentially nights from my house. I would like to ideally make a living out of it eventually and get certifications in first aid and dog grooming. I work from home 3 times a week. Ideally Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and I am committed to look after your pets as my new priority to gain as much experience as possible before creating my own business in dog sitting. I am an early riser and can welcome them from 7am I will walk them up to 4 times a day and they can spend as much time in my rear garden as they like. I will feed them and monitor their food intake and drink intake. I can make videos or take pictures to update you during the day. If sleeping over, I will let you know how they find this new environment at night. If there is no more than one pet during the day I will make sure they get along and can create some distance between the animals if needed and then adapt which dog i can look after each day depending on which other pet is present. The house is always tidy and clean and there will be no risk of them chewing on anything dangerous. I have a car and can drive them to parks if necessary but I also leave very close to a beautiful countryside walk. I can drive them back to your house or you can pick them up.

About: I am an artist who is looking for some company, cuddles and a little extra cash, whilst I work. I love walking and I love walking with dogs even more. My family dog is a 7 year old cockapoo and I miss him very much so I would really appreciate some dog time at my new home, especially when I work from home. I also have a 9 year old family cat who I miss dearly, and it was mainly me looking after him, so I have experience looking after cats too. I have a car so pet pick up is easy, as well as, access to larger country areas. I am an artist so the majority of the time I work from home and have plenty time and space to look after animals. I work from home most days and my work is very flexible so I can work around pet visits. Weekends are similar to the weekdays so I would be available most weekends. Unfortunately my current flat does not allow pets, but I am more than happy to stay away and work any around pet sitting opportunities I have!

About: Having owned a dog since I was 10 years old. My family have relied on me to walk, feed and entertain our dog while they are busy working. I absolutely love looking after dogs. I’m currently work part time but I’m available most morning and evenings. I Can work on short notice, just send me a message ! I send regular updates through messages and pictures. Since owning a dog for the last 12 years. I have learnt how to take care of a dog and learn its needs whilst ensuring the safety of him. But also most importantly making sure that they are comfortable and happy.

Marianne N.
“Apart from being an all round lovely, and reliable human, Marianne has been brilliant with all our dogs, who she has walked for many years, and looked after wonderfully while we have been on holiday (we got the feeling they were a little bit disappointed when we came back....). She had a super soft spot for Chip, our old, super shy rescue spaniel, who was frightened of her own shadow when we adopted her, but adored Marianne. However, Marianne is equally happy and capable walking our big, strong, enthusiastic Bernese Mountain dogs, and our (very) energetic young cocker spaniel. Marianne loves being outdoors, and is never deterred by the weather and (like our spaniel) seems particularly happy to head out on a long, wet, muddy walk....”

Dianne P.

They'll be happy, safe, loved, and well-cared for under his supervision. 100% recommended.”
