About: We’ve had dogs growing up and I’ve always enjoyed their company and the joy they bring to the home. My partner and me regularly look after my parents Labrador and my uncle’s Border Terrier. They are very different personalities so tailor their needs accordingly when looking after them. For example, one likes the park with other dogs where as the other is not as social so needs solo walks. We have been looking after them for the best part of 5 years as cover for holiday and other last minute commitments. My partner and myself work full time with a hybrid office pattern so have the flexibility to work from home which will allow us to care for your dog at all hours of the day. We live in a 2 bed apartment with capability to place a crate or bed in. We have access to a huge park within a 1 minute walk and a beach within 10 minutes walk to allow for plenty of walking accessibility. We would not have more than 1 dog at a time.

About: I have been looking after cats and dogs for the last 25 years. I had my own cats for nearly 20 years, one of whom was neurotic, deaf and in the early stages of dementia when he finally passed (and needed daily medication). Over the past 6 years, I have looked after dogs, cats, horses, and the occasional tortoise through trusted housesitters. But since I settled in Brighton, I have mostly been looking after friends' dogs: cockapoos, staffies, Romanian rescues and loving the company as I work on my PhD. I own my own home with a garden if you need to drop them off, and I also have my own car if I need to get to yours. I am reliable, responsible and active, meaning they will get all the walks and love they need. I work from home, with no fixed meeting times. Depending on the weather and what your dog is used to, I would take them for a walk in the morning, either up on the Downs behind my house, or to the beach, just a 10 minute walk away. We would then spend the day in my study, your dog snoozing on the guest bed or the floor, and me working on my research, with breaks for playtime in the garden and snacks, if allowed. At dinner time, we would go for another walk, either to the Downs, where we might meet up with a couple of other friends with dogs, or back to the park along the seafront. Your dog could then sleep with me on my bed, or on the floor, whatever they are used to. I have a fenced garden, and during the summer months, they can go outside whenever they want. They can go anywhere in my house, but I would only let them on the sofa/bed if that's what they are allowed to do in your home. When we go for a walk, I would not immediately let them off the lead. Still, I would work up to that, starting with short periods in a safe environment and ensuring they know I have chicken or another high-value treat, which I would reward them with every time I called them and they returned.

Starting from a young age looking after my family dog, to getting my own dog at 16, a working cocker spaniel, to now working at a local recuse centre! About: Me and my wife are both quite outdoorsy people. Most of the dog behavior issues are from excessive energy. So I believe all tired dogs are good dogs. We hike a lot as we had a border collie for 15 years. Training is also important. I believe all dogs can be trained. We just have to be consistent with it. Doing bit by bit everyday. I’m currently working from home. So my hours are based on my puppy’s schedule. Feeding her 8am in the morning and then walk her right after. Bathroom breaks every couple of hours if we’re not out and about, Last walk of the day at 10:30pm before everyone in the house goes to bed. We found her better behave as we stick to the schedule as much as we can. There’s some basic elements in every household that a dog needs if we recognize them and fit in to our lifestyle, it is the same anywhere we live.

I used to own & run a successful dog walking business called Kay's K9 Dog Walking in London for 6 years until I went back to the corporate world. I'm now living in Brighton & would love to get back to walking & sitting dogs as I miss it. I am currently available full time for dog boarding, house sitting and dog walking. I live on a large boat in Brighton Marina with my puppy, so please don't book me if you are not happy with your dog being onboard! Your dog will get lots of walks & I have an outside decking area with a grass area to go the the loo. I am home all week & have plenty of time to exercise your dog. About: I have looked after dogs my entire life I’ve been around them for as long as I can remember I have experience with lots of different dogs breeds and puppies. I’m currently a student I’m hoping this will become my main source of income. I’m only in three days a week for very short periods of time so I will always be available to look after your babies Dogs tend to be a bit more comfortable in their own home environment so I think looking after our pet where they’re already familiar with the space is a huge pro and it will help the dog be happier!

I’m currently available every Monday all day, Tuesday morning, Wednesday, Thursday Friday before 9am and from 4pm, Saturday all day, and Sundays from 2pm. Some weeks I am available more, and if given enough notice I can move things around to squeeze in some extra play with your pup! I respect your home and treat it how I would want someone to treat my home. I will leave everything as I found it, and ensure I lock up when I leave, making sure your dog is happy and settled before I do so.

About: I have been looking after cats and dogs for the last 25 years. I had my own cats for nearly 20 years, one of whom was neurotic, deaf and in the early stages of dementia when he finally passed (and needed daily medication). Over the past 6 years, I have looked after dogs, cats, horses, and the occasional tortoise through trusted housesitters. But since I settled in Brighton, I have mostly been looking after friends' dogs: cockapoos, staffies, Romanian rescues and loving the company as I work on my PhD. I own my own home with a garden if you need to drop them off, and I also have my own car if I need to get to yours. I am reliable, responsible and active, meaning they will get all the walks and love they need. I work from home, with no fixed meeting times. Depending on the weather and what your dog is used to, I would take them for a walk in the morning, either up on the Downs behind my house, or to the beach, just a 10 minute walk away. We would then spend the day in my study, your dog snoozing on the guest bed or the floor, and me working on my research, with breaks for playtime in the garden and snacks, if allowed. At dinner time, we would go for another walk, either to the Downs, where we might meet up with a couple of other friends with dogs, or back to the park along the seafront. Your dog could then sleep with me on my bed, or on the floor, whatever they are used to. I have a fenced garden, and during the summer months, they can go outside whenever they want. They can go anywhere in my house, but I would only let them on the sofa/bed if that's what they are allowed to do in your home. When we go for a walk, I would not immediately let them off the lead. Still, I would work up to that, starting with short periods in a safe environment and ensuring they know I have chicken or another high-value treat, which I would reward them with every time I called them and they returned.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have taken care of them my whole life. My own dog, Willow, is a one year old lab cross and will love to play with your dogs. I work from home every day, I usually give the dogs two walks, one 10 mins one around the block and one longer walk (30-45min) in the downs above my house. The rest of the time, the door to the garden is always open and the garden is fenced and free of hazards. I am happy to fit around any feeding schedule or around any other walking scheduled required for your dog. I have a fully fenced garden, free of hazards. My own dog, Willow is a one year old lab cross and loves to play. She has a lot of energy so if your dog is elderly they will be in different rooms.
