About: Hi! My name is Brenna and I’ve been looking after animals of all kinds for 11 years and counting! Personally, I’ve had dogs, lizards, and fish but I’ve looked after dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, birds, and fish. I love animals of all sizes and personalities and make it my mission to care for them as if they were my own. Pet sitting is currently my full time job so I’m open to keeping any schedule required. I am looking for an apprenticeship currently so my schedule may change a bit in the future. I always take care to follow any instructions to a tee and I like to go the extra mile for pets. I’m careful of locking doors or gates and triple checking I’ve done so so that nobody takes an impromptu walk! On walks, I make sure to keep a close eye on our surroundings looking for anything that may cause issue so that I can avoid it and make sure we have a fun but uneventful time out.

About: I’m your friendly neighbourhood pet sitter! I have extensive experience with looking after cats and dogs and am comfortable with all ages and sizes of animal. I currently have 2 cats, Boo & Peepers, who are the light of my life. I have 12+ years of experience caring for newborn kittens right up to very elderly cats, from hand rearing, administering medication, basic grooming care and rescue. I have been a dog sitter and walker in the past, caring for small, medium and large breeds, (eurasier, cockapoo, keeshound and rottweilers) but I am very capable of handling puppies, miniature and giant breeds. I have been entrusted with pet care for friends and family & would love to make friends with your furry friend! I am extremely flexible with days and times. I am an early riser so I am happy to care for your animal from early morning. I can be around pretty much any time of day as long as I have a day or so’s notice! I am very happy to walk your dog (or cat!), feed them, brush them, give them any medication they might need, take them to the vets or just hang out with them! I am very easy going, so I am happy to fulfil any requests.

About: I have worked at many Dog walking companies and Doggy daycares and would like to do this more locally now. I have also had family dogs since the age of four and I would always help walk them. I recently got my own puppy as well so I am very used to all stages of a dogs life and what may be needed to ensure they get the most out of walks or play. I'm currently not working so I am free whenever you need a sitter/walker. I am free anyday for boarding, dog walking or simply just a quick check-in. I have a puppy of my own at home but if your dog is not friendly with others then I am more than happy to look after them at your home. I usually like to ask for your dogs routine so I don't break it (such as sleeping, eating, walks, ect..) and the rest of the time I will always look for signs in what your dog would like to do next. I would also send pictures of your dog throughout our time together (if you want) so you can feel happy knowing they are having a lovely time! I look forward to meeting you!
“Frances was brilliant. We made a late enquiry and she was really great at accommodating us amongst other bookings. Total professional and a lovely approach in terms of comms. Would totally recommend to anyone needed some help with their pets.”

About: I first got into dog walking by helping care for a family member’s lively (and VERY opinionated!) senior Jack Russell Terrier. Taking him out on daily walks quickly became something I genuinely looked forward to — he definitely keeps me on my toes! Over time, I started teaching him new tricks and learning how to adapt to his changing needs as he got older. It taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and really paying attention to each dog as an individual. What started as simply helping out has turned into a real love for dogs and training. I enjoy building trust, keeping walks fun and safe, and making sure each dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m now hoping to take that next step and start walking dogs professionally. Whether your dog needs a relaxed stroll, some playtime, or a bit of extra attention, I’d love to help. I have recently been made redundant so am fully available to give 100% of my love and attention to your furry friends! I am currently available for walks, and pet check-ins from Monday-Friday, and hope to increase availability soon! I have a private fenced off garden with lots of space to sniff and roam - I also live 2 minutes away from Grangewood park so there is plenty of outdoor space to be explored!
“We had just taken in an elderly cat when her owner sadly passed right before the Christmas holiday when we were going to visit grieving family. Our elderly lady Petal wasn't in the best shape, incredibly skinny and with bad kidneys. We scrambled to find someone to look after her on such short notice and were very lucky to find Kirsty! She kept Petal company, ensured she was fed and had a clean litterbox. When we returned we were overjoyed to see that she was putting weight back on and was looking so good! Kirsty was genuinely absolutely amazing at dealing with everything, especially as we were so nervous leaving our little lady behind but Kirsty made sure we had nothing to worry about.”

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was 7 years old. We rescued different ages and breeds- from seniors to puppies, from Chowchow mixes to Yorkies- so I am comfortable with all kinds of ages and energy needs. I currently dogsit for my aunt who has the sweetest senior labradoodle named Nori! I am a self-employed actor and nanny, so I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Particularly in the mornings and afternoons. I am also able to travel. My work as a nanny/dogsitter requires me to do the majority of my job in other people's homes so I am accustomed to following specific house rules and operating respectfully and responsibly in homes while caring for your pets.

About: I often take care of my friends pets, some regulars are Alfie (an older Bichon Frise), Waffle (a 4 year old labradoodle) and Evie (a kind rescue of unknown origins). Myself and my partner love pets and grew up around both cats and dogs. My partners mum actually does end of life care for senior dogs, so if we had a speciality maybe it's that? But ultimately we're just keen to help you where we can. Your fur baby will have two carers for the price of one as my partner Daniel Richardson is also on hand. He's been verified by the Rover team too. Myself and my partner Danny both work from home in Anerley. It's only us so we have a calm and gentle environment for your pet. If your pet requites lots of walks, we have a communal garden outside of our flat, as well as Betts Park on our Doorstop and Crystal Palace park a 8 minute walk away. We are able to give your pet our full attention and are happy to meet their needs and keep their routine, rather than us fitting around them. Routine is most important for fur babies, so any instructions will be followed to the letter.
“I was very nervous about leaving my dog with someone so decided to try drop in sessions. I did a lot of research and found Connor, and honestly, best decision ever! Connor was so thoughtful and really cared about my dog! he made sure he had a great understanding of his needs and met him a few times on walks ahead of the drop ins. Conner is kind, and has a real natural gift with animals, my dog was so happy every day to see him and he gave me regular updates. I couldn't be happier with the service delivered by Connor! 10/10 will recommend him to everyone!!”
“Kady has been brilliant with Winnie, she arrived promptly and was super accommodating to Winnie’s needs. When I got home Winnie was settled in her crate which was lovely to see - Kady did a great job settling a lively puppy! ☺️”

“Jessica was absolutely fab! Great at communicating while I was away for the weekend. The girls liked her a lot and I came home to 2 very happy cats :) I felt totally at ease leaving Smudge & Fudge in Jessica’s care and look forward to seeing her again in the future!”

“Cannot rate more highly. Erin did a fantastic job looking after our two cats over the new year. She went the extra mile in caring for them, and cleaning up after them. She sent me excellent updates and photos and we felt we'd left the cats in good, capable and caring hands. We would definitely book Erin again, and highly recommend her.”

About: Experienced with small, big , puppies and elderly dogs . Of all personalties . Experienced and confident with anxious animals with an understanding for their needs and patience with all personalities. Since I was a little girl I have loved animals , I have been lucky to raise and train my own dog from puppy to fully grown . I currently live with two beautiful cats so Am lucky to be surrounded by furry friends. I have looked after animals for many years , simply because I love them and animal welfare is so important to me , it brings me peace of mind when I know they are in safe hands I also come from a scientific background so have good knowledge and a personal interest in animal behaviour and psychology and believe it’s something paramount to optimal wellbeing of our animal friends. I love being outdoors and taking dogs on long walks , equally I am happy to cuddle or play with them at home. So long as the little one is happy I am happy and finally working with animals is not a chore nor does it feel like work , I enjoy it I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available for pet sitting on a full-time basis. This allows me to dedicate consistent, one-to-one time and attention to the animals in my care, rather than splitting my focus. My routine is structured around fitness, which means I naturally maintain a disciplined and active lifestyle. On the days I am caring for pets, I am able to prioritise their needs whether that’s regular walks, playtime, companionship, or simply being present to ensure they feel calm and secure. I live close to two large, safe parks which are ideal for dog walking, enrichment, and exercise. I also have access to a private back garden for additional outdoor time in a secure environment. Overall, I am able to offer a high level of availability, consistency, and attention, ensuring your pet is never left feeling unattended or unsettled. Providing a safe, calm, and secure environment is my top priority when caring for any animal whether in my home or in an owner’s home. My home is very pet-friendly, with no carpets and a layout that allows for easy cleaning and hygiene. There are secure doors and the ability to section off areas if needed, which is particularly useful for introducing animals gradually or keeping them separated for comfort and safety. I live with two friendly cats, and I have extensive experience managing multi-animal environments. However, I fully understand that not all animals are comfortable around others, so I am completely happy and confident separating pets. The house is set up with both upstairs and downstairs spaces, making it easy to keep animals apart in a calm and controlled way if required. There are no children in the home just myself and 2 other female house members who are all animal lovers. During the day, it is usually just me at home, though occasionally house members may be working quietly in separate rooms. The environment remains calm, predictable, and low-stress. Alongside my hands on experience, I have spent time independently learning about animal welfare, behaviour, and safety. I am confident in recognising signs of stress or discomfort and always aim to create an environment where animals feel secure and understood. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will fully respect your space and follow your routines closely to maintain familiarity for your pet. I understand how important consistency is, and I will ensure their usual feeding, walking, and care routines are followed as closely as possible. Most importantly, I prioritise your preferences as an owner. I am always open to guidance and happy to adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and any training approaches you would like maintained. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is being cared for safely, thoughtfully, and with genuine attention.

I’m currently working hybrid, but mostly from home, my job is very flexible, so have plenty of time to take care of your babies and play with them, I’m available every weekend and everyday really. About: Hey there! My name's China and I live in South Norwood with my partner Sanjay and our little sausage dog, Chip. I love dogs and our little one is pretty chill so has no problems with other dogs. An introduction is always best first though :) I grew up with boxer dogs I'm used to both big and small dogs. I can pop round and take your dogs for walks, or simply hang out with them whilst you're at work. I work for myself so I'm flexible with my schedule. Most of the time I can be flexible. I'd love to meet the dog and yourselves first free of charge so your comfortable with me and we can introduce our dogs if you ever need to drop them off at my house in South Norwood. Let me know if you have any questions:) I work for myself and very rarely go into the city. Between my partner and I, one of us is always around so you have 2 sitters for the price of one! I'm an artist and my partner is a building surveyor and we love dogs so we're more than happy to help fellow neighbours. I do have a little sausage dog staying with me who just needs an outside introduction which can be the first time they meer or the second. He's used to other dogs so should get along with them fine. We also have a garden with grass that's only ours so the dog can wander outside as it pleases.
“Best sitter for my cats! They really warmed to her and, despite me having to leave a lot of complicated instructions about the home security, location of cat stuff, etc, Alexsandra pulled it off flawlessly! She is very attentive to details and the cats loved her!”
Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Beckenham
Finding someone you truly trust with your dog is no small thing, and Mara exceeded every expectation. Alby – my seven-month-old cocker spaniel – bonded with her immediately, which told me everything I needed to know. Her communication throughout the sit was brilliant: consistent updates, photos, and genuine warmth. I always knew he was in safe hands. She also went well beyond what was asked, approaching the role with real care and initiative. I came home to a happy, calm dog, which is the ultimate review in itself. Mara is a rare find and I recommend her without hesitation.

Jessica really kindly dropped in on my two whippets while I had to go to a workshop in town - she accepted my last minute request and even came round for a meet and greet that same evening which was so generous. Jessica was very communicative and warm, and the whippets instantly took to her. She played with them and gave them lots of cuddles in the hour she spent with them. I’d love to message Jessica again in future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other pet owners!

Hazel has a really great warmth with our Staffy Puppy (and also us), was brilliantly capable of handling his energy and is fantastic at engaging with him. Her approach is friendly, kind, patient, and comes across experienced and knowledgable of breed/behaviour. Hazel has curbed our anxieties of leaving our dog with someone new for the first time as she was very quickly able to form a bond with our Pup. After an introduction, he was very excited to see her again a few days later, I think that’s the best review. Hazel has been great at communicating and we will definitely be continuing to book her as our sitter.

Joseph looked after my dog Stella, Stella can be reactive to other dogs which can make using Rover a bit stressful but Joseph spent time to ask questions about her and gave amazing updates whilst looking after her accompanied by good photos and questions about things I had failed to mention! Highly recommend Joseph for a friendly and reliable sitter/walker! Thank you

Chloe really kindly dropped in on Ezzie again for us on Friday evening - as usual she was very communicative, personable and reliable. Ezzie was very chilled when we got home (she barely got off the bed to greet us!) so she clearly had a good cuddle with Chloe and was really relaxed. Thank you Chloe!

Lindsey was super considerate and helpful last minute. She made time to come and meet Harley and us ahead of the sit and was really diligent about her route so she could be with Harley in time in between dog walks. Really grateful for your thoughtfulness and making sure everything was ok :) xx

Thank you so much Gemma for taking such wonderful care of our pets and home. We came back to a clean house and very happy pets, it honestly felt like we had only been gone a few hours. The notes and photos every after visit helped made us feel relieved that they are being taken care of. See you again soon.
