From the moment we met them, they were so friendly and welcoming, making sure both my partner and I felt completely comfortable leaving Bailey, our 2-year-old dachshund, in their care, especially as this was the first time we’d left him over night with someone new. They took the time to listen to all our needs and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s so clear how much they truly love dogs, as the care and affection they showed Bailey was amazing. They kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was obvious how happy he was with them. They have a large garden, which was ideal for Bailey to have a run around to burn off energy and he loved having a sniff at all the smells in their garden which helped stimulate his brain. They took him on lovely long walks where he saw horses, cows and sheep, played all of his favourite games as well as enrichment activities, and gave him endless cuddles and attention. Bailey came home a very happy (and tired!) little dachshund, which says it all. We’re so grateful to Clare and Jack for looking after him as if he were their own, and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future!”

“I can’t recommend Erika and her family enough. Bruce is a very shy reserved dog and doesn’t like strangers, I was so nervous about leaving him. I had nothing to worry about. Erika spoilt his rotten, treated him as one of the family. I was sent photos and videos every day, and he looked so happy in every picture. I don’t think he actually wanted to come home haha. I will certainly be using Erika again. Highly recommend to everyone.”

“Thank you so much to Daniel for taking Marley at such late notice for the weekend. His whole family was absolutely lovely and so sweet with Marley. He enjoyed some lovely walks with them and another dog they had staying, who Marley quickly became best friends and they were inseparable. I was completely confident in their care of Marley as they are very diligent and safety focussed as well as being fun and showing him a great time. He came home completely exhausted, which was a sign of a great weekend! On top of the great care they provided they also bathed Marley so he was all sweet smelling and clean when I collected him, as well as washing his blanket. Thank you so much; I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!”

About: I grew up on a dairy farm in Ireland and we always had a working dog. I have so many fond memories of playing and looking after them. I was a full time primary teacher up until 2025. I currently work part-time in food delivery and can pick and choose when I work. This allows me to be very flexible throughout the week to deliver excellent pet care. I have a fenced shared garden surrounding my home. In my flat, the dog will have full access to my living room, kitchen, hallway and bedroom.
