Trustworthy pet sitter, WFH, garden
Hi! My name is Almara (everyone calls me Allie), I’m a 36yo non-smoker who owns a ground floor flat with a huge garden across the road from Crystal Palace Park and I work from home. I dog sit the adorable Nora regularly every month (I have looked after her for both shorter and longer periods including overnight). I also pet sit cute lil Harri the sausage dog for a neighbour in my building, as well as Poosh the cat for a friend of mine from time to time. In the past, I’ve dog sat and walked many dogs, usually of small or medium size. I also used to own a dog of my own, a beagle named Riley before he sadly passed away. I like to keep owners updated with pics and texts when they trust me with their pet (if they want them, of course) and I will care for your pet as if it was my own. I also respect your rules (feeding times, walking times etc). If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to message me.

Almara took excellent care of our dog Rocky. He’s a quirky little fellow and she was very attentive to his needs and personality. She kept us updated and sent pictures every day.

Almara took such wonderful care of my cat, Pushkin, while I was away. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing she was in such kind, capable hands. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Pushkin can be a bit particular, but she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after when I returned—which says everything. Almara kept me updated, which I really appreciated, and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to look after their pet.
Almara's kind and caring nature always puts my little pup at ease. She struggles with new people and is very nervous in public; but not with Almara. It's incredible watching them together – it brings a smile to my face. If I had to put my doggies in anybody's care it'd only ever be hers.
Almara has been looking after my dog on a regular basis for over six months now, and I couldn't recommend her more! She's incredibly experienced, thoughtful, and my dog worships her. My dog won't let me walk past her house without trying to take me inside! I honestly couldn't think of a single person I could recommend more than Almara - a light in both my and my dog's lives!
Our little Dachshund Harri loves Almara! She’s lovely, great with dogs and super accommodating. We would 100% recommend Almara to look after your dog! Also has a garden which is very useful.

Schedule
Your dog will not be wanting for attention as they can be in the same space as me while I work and I do lunchtime walks too.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is secure with a fence and I also have a home alarm system. I live in a nice, safe area and there are lots of dog owners nearby (including a friend of mine who lives up the road) so plenty of friends for your dog (if they are sociable).
A typical day
Your pet can expect walks in the forest, cosy naps on a large sofa, playing with toys in the sun and visits to the local dog cafe, plus lots of ear scratches.
