While we are new to Rover, we are lifelong pet owners with years of experience looking after dogs and cats for family and friends. As for cats, our resident cats are highly independent and stays out of the way, so as long as your dog isn't aggressive towards cats, they will get along just fine! I work from home full-time, meaning pet care is naturally integrated into my daily routine. Because my schedule is highly flexible, I can easily accommodate your preferred feeding and walking times. I am also very accommodating with pickup and drop-off windows. Your pet will enjoy constant companionship throughout the day and will never be left unsupervised. Safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. In our home, your pet will enjoy a fully fenced, secure garden perfect for supervised playtime. For an extra layer of security, we have cameras installed in the backyard so we can keep a close eye on everything. Because both my husband and I are involved, guest pets are never left unsupervised. Whether boarding with us or during house visits, we mirror your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routines to keep their environment stress-free, treating your beloved pet with the same trust and care as our own.

About: I’m an experienced dog owner who truly understands the routines and care dogs need. What makes my service unique is the combination of exceptional outdoor space (Wanstead Flats is right on my doorstep for long walks and play), flexible working arrangements (if desired, I can take your dog to my office for company throughout the day), and a well-socialised, friendly dog who loves meeting new friends. Your dog won’t just be looked after - they’ll be genuinely engaged and enriched. Whether it’s exploring the extensive open spaces of the Flats, enjoying a calm day at the office, or having a canine companion for socialisation, I can provide a proper home-from-home experience. I’m happy to maintain any specific routines, dietary requirements, or training approaches you’ve established. I treat every dog in my care as I treat my own: with patience, attention, and plenty of affection. I work full time but have flexible arrangements. I typically work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and I’m able to take dogs to the office with me on other days if they’d enjoy the different environment and socialisation. This means your dog will have company and attention throughout the day, every day, rather than being left alone. I’m available for boarding on weekends and evenings. Your dog will be treated as part of my household. I have one friendly, well-socialised dog who’s excellent with other dogs and provides gentle companionship. My home is secure and I’m experienced in managing different dogs’ needs, whether that’s separate feeding times, crate training, or giving space to dogs who prefer their own company. I’ll always follow your instructions on walking routines, including whether your dog should be on or off lead.

About: I’ve been in the veterinary industry for 8 years now. I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2020 and now work as an established nurse in a busy practice. I have been pet sitting for many of the team I work with as well as some clients of the practice. They trust me to stay in their houses and to give their fur babies the care and attention they need. I have also fostered many of the stray cats we have in practice till they find their forever homes. Skills I can give medication (oral or subcutaneous) Understanding of live stage needs Nutrition knowledge Emergency care Grooming Handling Nervous cats I work full time in a veterinary practice, but can do drop in visits, walks and feeds before and after work if needed. If needed I can get permission to take pets into work if needed too I have recently moved to an apartment complex with large green spaces for quick walks depending on the little one’s needs. This can be discussed pre booking.

“Bertie spent 5 nights with Tony and we are really glad that we found him. Tony was very patient with Bertie, even when he’s not behaving, since Bertie is still a young puppy. We were initially very worried but Tony sent us daily updates which included photos and videos, which really helped, given that this is the first time we’ve left him overnight with someone else. We’d definitely consider using Tony again in the future and would easily recommend others to use him for boarding. We genuinely think that Bertie enjoyed his stay with Tony and Archie (Tony’s Dog).”

About: We’re a friendly and caring couple who have both grown up with dogs and cats, so being around animals has always been a big part of our lives. We’re reliable, responsible and happy to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My partner and I work different shifts, which gives us plenty of flexibility when caring for pets. I usually work afternoons and evenings (typically 3pm–11pm), while my partner works 10am–6pm and spends two days a week working from home. As our schedules are rota-based and change weekly, we’re often able to accommodate different requests and routines. We enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, and relaxing at home, and everything is a bit more fun when there’s a furry (or bald!) friend joining us. We understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and we do our best to make them feel comfortable and secure. We follow any instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, exercise, or simply giving them space when they need it. Our home is calm, pet-friendly, and full of attention and affection. We love spending quality time with animals, whether that’s playing, exploring outside, or curling up on the sofa for a quiet evening together. We treat every pet as if they were our own and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while in our care.
