With dogs, while I haven’t owned one personally, I’ve spent a lot of time around friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with friendly dogs, basic lead handling, and following your routine exactly as you prefer. With two rooms available, I can separate pets when needed (for stress free settling, feeding, or rest), and I’m happy to do individual walks and follow each pet’s routine closely, adjusting to their behaviour, mood, and energy level. My garden isn’t fully fenced, so any outdoor time at home is always supervised and on lead. I’m also only around 5 minutes from Roding Valley Lakes, which is perfect for regular, calm walks and outdoor breaks. For walks, I keep things safe and structured, and I follow your rules on lead use, walking routes, and greetings with other dogs. I’m happy to start with shorter walks while I learn your dog’s routine. For everyone’s safety, I ask that pets are up to date on flea/worm treatment and that you tell me about any medical needs, separation anxiety, or lead reactivity. I only do off-lead time if you’ve confirmed reliable recall and we’ve agreed suitable locations. I’m happy to do a meet-and-greet. Please share any important details like feeding instructions, quirks, and any medical needs. For dogs, I prefer a meet and greet before the first walk, and I keep dogs on lead unless you’ve confirmed reliable recall and we’ve agreed on suitable locations.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and have had my own dog, Georgia, since she was a puppy. She's now a senior, so I'm very familiar with the extra patience, care and attention that older dogs can need. I've looked after dogs of all ages and have experience with administering medication and following specific care routines. I understand that every dog is different, so I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine and individual needs. I live in South Woodford (E18), close to several lovely parks and walking routes. I have a comfortable flat with access to a garden, although it isn't directly accessible from the flat and there are stairs to reach us, so I'm particularly suited to dogs who are comfortable with stairs and enjoy going out for proper walks. My approach is simple: your dog should feel safe, comfortable and cared for while they're with me. I'll stick to their usual routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention and keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away (if you want). I'm especially happy to care for older dogs, dogs who need medication, and dogs who benefit from a calm and patient environment. About: I have owned 3 male Boxers and taken care of a range of dogs including Belgian Shepherds, Turkish Mountain Dogs, Dobermans and Jack Russells. My partner has owned many dogs including Alsatians, Spaniels, Dalmations, and Basset Hounds. We are both comfortable with the the larger breeds as well as the smaller breeds. I work from home half the week and on the days where I am in the office there is always a member of the household home and we liaise to ensure that any dog in our care, if ever left home alone, is only for a very short period of time. I am available 7 days a week, all year round, for short and long term stays. I offer a loving, peaceful home from home experience for dogs of all sizes. Because I believe every dog deserves absolute comfort and undivided attention, I only ever host from one guest household at a time. Your dog will live as a member of the family, sleeping inside, relaxing on the sofa, and enjoying a stress free environment with no other guest pets or crates. My garden is secure and backs onto Epping Forest which is where your dog will enjoy their daily walks. Whether your dog loves long sniffy walks, playing with sticks or balls or just wants to curl up next to me while I work, their routine will be followed exactly. I also have personal experience of following a medical routine to the letter and would be comfortable doing this for your dog.
