About: I have a 4 year old Cavapoo called Lucy-Lou who loves other poodle breeds and when I work from home she would love the company! I can only accept other poodle breeds at home as my Husband has Asthma and we can’t have dog hairs ( poodle hypoallergenic breed) I work from home Wednesday- Friday and take Lucy out for forest walks during the day. She is a lovely little dog and loves dogs. Lucy gets spoiled rotten as she’s our little girl. I am a caring, responsible dog owner who has looked after many dogs over the years as well as our very own. My husband and toddler also live in the family home but will not be home during care times. I have enough love and attention to go on another dog too 🥰🐶🐕🐕🦺 I currently work from home Wednesday-Friday and our toddler is in nursery full time ( so not in the house during the day) so I have plenty of time to take doggy out for walks in Epping Forest and have playtime. 08:00-17:00 would be ideal timing to work with Nursery drop off and pick up. I raised a kitten in my past relationship and I have a stay cat that I travel to every week and visit to feed her and make sure she’s okay (she’s a street cat with no home but the neighbours don’t wish to take her away from the estate. I have experience cat sitting where I would stay at the house for seven hours, locking up, and then visit the next day. Other times it would be to pop in and out on the same day, and I have also done overnight stays where I look after your pet whilst making sure the house stays nice and tidy. Am happy to follow any weird or odd routine your pet may have (mine has to eat out of a plastic bowl whilst I tell him he’s bother is watching). My approach is simple: your dog should feel safe, comfortable and cared for while they're with me. I'll stick to their usual routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of attention and keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away (if you want). I'm especially happy to care for older dogs, dogs who need medication, and dogs who benefit from a calm and patient environment. I'd love to meet you and your dog beforehand so we can make sure we're a good fit! I have a flexible routine that allows me to give dogs plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. My own senior dog, Georgia, is an important part of my daily life, so I'm already used to planning my day around walks, feeding, rest and her individual needs. I live close to several parks and enjoy getting out for regular walks, so looking after another dog fits naturally into my routine. I'm happy to adapt walks and activities to suit each dog's age, energy level and usual routine, whether they enjoy long walks and lots of exercise or prefer shorter, gentler outings. I also work from home/around my own schedule, which means I can provide plenty of company and supervision rather than leaving dogs alone for long periods. I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to understand their normal routine, personality and needs before they stay with me. I'll follow your instructions closely around feeding, walks, medication, sleep and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and settled. Having cared for Georgia since she was a puppy and now looking after her as a senior dog, I understand how much routines and individual care needs can change over time. In my home, dogs have a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of attention and regular walks to nearby parks. I have access to a garden, although it isn't directly accessible from the flat, and there are stairs to reach the third floor, so I'll always make sure a dog is comfortable with this before booking. When caring for a pet in their own home, I aim to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible by maintaining their usual routine and environment. I'm happy to provide regular updates and photos so you know how they're getting on while you're away.
