About: I’ve always had a dog since I was 8 years old so have grown up absolutely loving them. My first dog passed away 2 years ago and needed a lot of extra care and attention towards the end. So I am well versed in all the accidents, slow walks and medications needed for senior dogs. I have also had my current dog since he was a puppy so have recent experience of that too! I am always teaching him new tricks which he loves - for a treat of course! We go on long walks in the forest but have recently started running together. The bond you have with a dog is like nothing else which is part of why I love them so much. I am currently working full time, 9-5 hours. But I can fit visits and walks in the morning, evening and weekends, to suit you. I will always be sure to introduce myself slowly and follow the pet’s lead - never rushing them and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I would get as much information from you as possible about your pet, their personality, their routines and how you look after them so that I can take the best care of them in a way that’s familiar to them.

“Kiya has been absolutely amazing with Riley. I completely trust her, and it’s so reassuring that she has experience with French Bulldogs. She’s super responsive and kept me updated regularly with messages and photos, so I always knew how Riley was getting on. “Ainhoa was absolutely amazing! She spent plenty of quality time playing with my kittens and made sure they were happy and comfortable while I was away. She sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I returned, my pets seemed extremely happy... which is every pet owner’s wish. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable.”

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of cats and dogs, including tabby cats, British Shorthairs, and Sphynx cats. I have also looked after many different dog breeds and have grown up around animals, having owned Rottweilers and a Poodle, and I currently care for my Shih Tzu and two tabby cats. I am very confident handling pets of different personalities and needs, including dogs with separation anxiety. I genuinely enjoy working with animals and take pride in making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. My aim is to give pet owners complete peace of mind, knowing their pets are in safe and loving hands at all times. I am a full-time SEN secondary teacher, however I spend my spare time (after 15:00) caring for cats and dogs, including my own pets. I have a strong passion for animals and really enjoy providing them with attentive, reliable care outside of my working hours. I am also available throughout all school term holidays, so if you are looking for a full-time pet sitter during these periods, please feel free to get in touch. In addition, I am open to last-minute weekend bookings where possible. With owner permission, I also love taking dogs out for enriching walks to places such as local parks or forests to ensure they are happy, stimulated, and enjoying their time while in my care. I have a fenced garden with plenty of space for pets to safely roam and enjoy themselves. I also have a female, friendly Shih Tzu named Paris, who is very sociable with other dogs and is also comfortable around cats, as she has lived alongside my two tabby cats. My cats are generally independent and often spend time outdoors in the neighbourhood or relaxing in their own space indoors, so visiting pets are able to have a calm and low-stress environment. I always ensure any pets in my care are introduced slowly and safely where needed, and I prioritise their comfort and wellbeing at all times.
About: I work in a school looking after children and share the same care and patience with dogs. I have looked after my friends dogs when they were away and also supported during delivery of puppies. I am working part time and have lots of spare time to look after pets. I am DBS and First Aid certified and experienced with diabetes with pets. I have a garden but usually the cats are kept indoors. I love walking dogs and live near a park. I own a car and do not mind driving to other peoples homes.
About: Brought up with my godmothers golden retriever since I was a kid. I've been looking after neighbours pomeranian pretty much since just before lockdown and he's now 7 years old. Living one of my childhood dreams - Taught him all the tricks he knows to date (all 8-10 tricks). Over lockdown was walking upto 4 neighbourhood dogs at one time. Been on long hikes with my neighbouring pomeranian all over London Via public transport. Looking after relatively new pooches in the area this past year especially those who are more sensitive and nervous/timid. I can board from Thursday evenings (where required) from 7pm and would need pooch returned/picked up by Sunday early evening latest 8pm. Owner will need to supply the bed, food, medications if any and treats. I have a large open plan living room dining kitchen area with a fenced back garden. My neighbours dog used to be round 2-3 x week and occasionally stays round - so your pooch may have a buddy. But not essential.

I take great care of them on walks ensuring their safety and the freedom to explore the world. I have taken big dogs and small dogs on walks and my clients were pleased with my service for both of them. I am very flexible with time as I am working through an agency so I can choose which date and time I go to work. I am willing to take dogs on a walk on short notice and am very flexible with time and communicate my availability clearly. I have some experience with dogs and am enthusiastic about working with them, and learning more about their behaviour and personalities. I respect the owner's concern about their dog's habits and what I should do to protect them which is why I have established trust with the owner and their pets.

Whether it’s a fun walk, overnight care or keeping them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy and well cared for. I’m reliable, active and love spending time outdoors. I’m just as happy taking lively energetic dogs on long walks as I am giving older dogs a slower-paced stroll with plenty of attention. Every dog had their own personality and I’ll always tailor my care to suit their needs best. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furbaby, so I like to keep you updated with regular photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is having a great time. I’m happy to meet you and your dog beforehand so we can start building that trust and bond. AVAILABILITY: Until November I am currently not available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays due to work commitments and a regular dog sit💖 Currently, I’m available full-time for pet care, meaning your pet will get all the attention and care they deserve! I’m flexible with times and can adjust to whatever suits you best, whether it’s for daily walks or overnight sitting. When your pet is in my care, you can rest assured they’ll be in a safe and loving environment. My home features an enclosed garden, perfect for playtime and relaxation. About: I’m a fellow dog owner & lover, and I look forward to supporting you in looking after yours. I’m highly empathetic, caring and responsible. Providing your pup with a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment with lots of affection is key to me. I have loved developing my understanding of dogs ever since I trained my own from 8 weeks old, so I can match or balance their energy and respond to their needs. I have completed courses in pet first aid and canine communication. I don’t work full time so when I’m at home I make myself available on Rover because it brings me joy to care for dogs, alongside my own. I can take your dog out for their walks, pop in and keep them company, or host them in the home that I share with my partner, Spencer, and our miniature sausages, Wally & Pippa. Spencer works from home and grew up with dogs, so you can be assured that your dog is not only in experienced hands, they would have supervision should I need to pop out, and we can maintain their routines as if they were at home. We are childfree which reduces noise and stress in the environment. I’m an active person who needs my daily exercise as much as your dog! I’m grateful to live with Epping Forest and the golf course on my doorstep, where your dog and I can adventure. At home I have a fenced garden and lots of toys, so plenty of options for exercise and play whatever the weather. Of course, they would socialise with Wally & Pippa, who are friendly, playful and well trained pups with no resource guarding issues. In terms of your dog’s safety, I am DBS checked and have a pet first aid certificate. When I meet you & your dog, I’ll approach them calmly so I can get to know them and what they need from me. We will also introduce Spencer and - most importantly- Wally & Pippa, so we know the dogs will have a good time together. Pippa is a rescue and it’s been such a rewarding experience to see her settle into her new life, so we know how important it is go at their pace, and show them that humans can be loving and trusted friends. I will always follow your guidelines for diet and medication, if they struggle with separation anxiety or socialising, and other things like being on the sofa/bed and receiving treats. I’ve looked after dogs with allergies, dietary requirements and daily medication, as well as older dogs of 10+ years. I will also always walk your dog on lead unless you specify otherwise and once we have bonded through several comfortable on-lead walks. At home, I have a stair gate to keep your dog from going upstairs depending on your preference / their level of training. If needed, I have both a car seat and a seat belt for small to medium dogs in my car. And of course, I will keep you updated on how your dog is doing by sharing photos & videos of our time together!
