About: Hello! My name is Thea and I am 30 years old. I grew up in the Berkshire countryside with a menagerie of animals and moved to South London 5 years ago. I now live with my partner and our two indoor cats, Tusk and Aurora, who are gracious enough to let us think we’re in charge. - I have always loved animals. I grew up in a family of five with a large extended animal family, including Patch the horse, Ghillie, Lana and Peggy the black labradors, Alice and Hugo the cats, an African Grey parrot called Puzi, many guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and chickens (whose eggs I used to sell to neighbours as an entrepreneurial 8-year-old), Great African Land Snails (yes, really), professional escape artist stick insects (...don’t ask), and a tortoise called Joey who is estimated to be 80+ years old! - Dogs: I particularly love dogs and would describe myself as a dog person first. I have raised three Black Labrador puppies, including Lana, a now happily retired working gun dog, who I trained from a puppy, competed with and worked myself. I am experienced with all aspects of day-to-day dog care, reinforcing training and good habits, and making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise and fun! I am confident with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments, and particularly enjoy working with puppies, using patience, consistency and clear boundaries to keep them calm and relaxed. I am also experienced with elderly and post-operative care, including following medication routines, monitoring wounds and attending vet appointments. - Cats: I grew up with two cats, a tortoiseshell called Alice and a ginger tom called Hugo. Alice is very much part of the family and, at nearly 20 years old, is still happily pootling around at home - in fact, we all swear she’s getting younger! I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own indoor cats Tusk and Aurora from kittenhood onwards. They came to me at just 14 weeks old, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day needs of young cats, as well as the changes that come with age. I am comfortable with all aspects of day-to-day cat care, including feeding, automatic feeders, litter trays, grooming and medication - alongside all the other tasks they seem to believe are part of my job as their live-in maid! - Other animals: Growing up, I regularly helped care for all of the animals at home. I am an experienced horse rider and spent a lot of time at the yard with our horse Patch, and hacking out with others in the Berkshire countryside before moving to London. I previously worked as a stable manager for a small children’s riding school in Henley-on-Thames, where my responsibilities included liaising with clients, running the yard, managing feed and medication, grooming and exercising, and providing individual care. I also led summer schools, taught private riding lessons, led hacks and ran pony parties for young children. - I am based in a secure flat with access to a large dog-friendly park and wider green spaces. I am an experienced house sitter, driver and volunteer with Croydon Animal Samaritans as an animal taxi. I am also a professional musician and qualified secondary school music teacher. I am based at home, have a flexible schedule and am available for indoor cat boarding, pet drop-ins during the day, and morning dog walks (the earlier the better, especially in the summer!)/late afternoon dog walks. I will aim to work with your pet's usual schedule wherever possible. Pet drop-ins: I am happy to follow whatever routine is best for your pet wherever possible. Medication must be prescribed and accompanied by clear instructions from your vet. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own food and treats. All instructions for feeding/medication must be clear and received in advance. Please be honest about your situation and ensure that your space is secure, safe and tidy before drop-ins** - Indoor cat boarding: I offer boarding for indoor cats in a secure flat without garden access, with two humans and two resident indoor cats. During their stay, visiting cats can have access to the whole flat, or their own space away from my cats. Whatever they choose, they will be kept company by and have access to at least one human, including overnight. ** PLEASE NOTE: Your cat must be FIV/FeLV negative, indoor only, comfortable around other cats, litter-trained, spayed/neutered and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Vaccinations must include protection against feline panleukopenia/infectious enteritis and feline respiratory viruses (cat flu, including herpesvirus and calicivirus). Owners must provide proof of vaccination and recent flea and worm treatment. Cats must not have been recently exposed to or be showing signs of an infectious illness, including sneezing, coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, eye or nose discharge, unexplained lethargy or skin problems. Aggression will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate cats that do not meet these requirements or put my cats at risk in any way. Owners must provide a crate, blanket/towel that smells of you, food and treats, medication and toileting setup** - Dog walks: Your dog will be collected by car and walked in a large dog-friendly park and surrounding countryside. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own treats. All dogs without reliable recall will be kept on a long lead. Aggression will not be tolerated** - Photos can be taken on request.

About: I absolutely love both dogs and cats. I’ve always had pets in my life — back in Ukraine, I had a dog who was part of my family for 17 years, as well as a cat. I also regularly look after dogs belonging to friends and family, so having a four-legged guest at home feels very natural to me. I am the sole caregiver for all pets in my care — no one else assists me with pet sitting or dog walking services. I have a flexible schedule and can spend plenty of time at home with pets. I can fit pet care easily into my daily routine and make sure they get regular attention, feeding, playtime and company. About: I’m your friendly neighbourhood pet sitter! I have extensive experience with looking after cats and dogs and am comfortable with all ages and sizes of animal. I currently have 2 cats, Boo & Peepers, who are the light of my life. I have 12+ years of experience caring for newborn kittens right up to very elderly cats, from hand rearing, administering medication, basic grooming care and rescue. I have been a dog sitter and walker in the past, caring for small, medium and large breeds, (eurasier, cockapoo, keeshound and rottweilers) but I am very capable of handling puppies, miniature and giant breeds. About: i have a 10 year old boston terrier called Queenie who i’ve had a big part in caring for, i also had a cat called Celeste who passed recently at 15. i love all dogs and am confident around big ones! i’m tall myself! i’ve volunteered at a cat rescue so have practical animal care experience too. i’m looking to make extra income and i’m not currently employed so i have lots of time to make caring for your pets my priority it’s of the upmost importance to me that your pet feels safe with me, i’ll let them go at their own pace and warm up to me if needed, i love giving affection and could give pets for hours!

About: I have fallen in love with animals as I have grown older! Starting with living with animals in shared houses, then to walking/ bathing and playing with dogs on borrow my doggie, to house sitting dogs on Trusted House Sitters, to living on a farm last year in Scotland and caring for many animals, I have had a range of experience in looking after dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, horses and more! I seem to have a great connection with animals whereby they feel safe with me, and can sense that I am also up for fun so we have lots of play times amongst the normal day today. I am a chilled guy that also has a lot of energy and so I love to take animals out for walks/ runs and adventures as well as hanging out in the evenings. I am very empathetic so can feel when the animal is not happy and am tuned into to finding out what they need! I am currently entertaining children at the weekend and teaching one class of yoga a week. This means that the majority of the time I will be at home with your pet, writing, reading and taking walks in the nature with them if possible! At the weekend It generally works out that I need to leave the pets for 4 hours to go and entertain at a party, sometimes it might work out it is longer (more like 6) if I have two parties, in this case my mother lives locally and she can pop in to keep them company for a bit whilst I am out. During week days I will never be out more than 4 hours - I play football once a week, sometimes meet friends for coffee and go to the gym, or teach yoga. However I will be in most of the time as my main aim is writing at the moment hence why this works out so well for me as I get to live in lovely homes, looking after lovely pets whilst I create :) Whilst staying in your home I will care for your pets as if they are my own child. I have a deep connection with animals and am very empathetic so am finely tuned into how they are feeling and their needs. If anything is off .. I will know! I have a calm temperament which animals seem to feel safe around, but as stated before I also have a lot of energy and love to have fun, play and take dogs out for walks and runs and adventures! I love their company and they will be my best friend for the time I stay at your house :) I have been left with animals with allegories and needed to give them medication and always followed the instructions down to the tee! I also will take photos and send them to you for updates and have free flowing communication so we build trust and you feel at ease as well!

About: We had a golden retriever as our family dog, who passed away at 15 a few years ago. I took care of her with feeding, walking and keeping her company including caring for her in her old age when she was deaf and unable to go to the toilet alone. I love dogs and would love to have them back in my life in whatever capacity. I’m currently having a career break and very flexible in my days and weeks, so currently available most times of day. My schedule is very open at the moment. We have an enclosed garden with grass space. Currently there is no other dog in the home. We have lots of comfortable, indoor space as well. I will be available to be with the dog at all times and if not my mum, Carole, will be at home. Also very happy to care for a dog in the owner’s home.

About: I have owned and looked after dogs for the past 15 years, I have experience with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I recently graduated with a Masters in Animal Behaviour with a focus on dog behaviour, and have been pet-sitting and dog walking since. “We had just taken in an elderly cat when her owner sadly passed right before the Christmas holiday when we were going to visit grieving family. Our elderly lady Petal wasn't in the best shape, incredibly skinny and with bad kidneys. We scrambled to find someone to look after her on such short notice and were very lucky to find Kirsty! She kept Petal company, ensured she was fed and had a clean litterbox. When we returned we were overjoyed to see that she was putting weight back on and was looking so good! Kirsty was genuinely absolutely amazing at dealing with everything, especially as we were so nervous leaving our little lady behind but Kirsty made sure we had nothing to worry about.”

I am Katrina and here is a bit about me- Aside from the fact I adore all animals, I have an extensive background, both personally (growing up with three yorkshire terriers) and professionally, in caring for animals. Having worked at a cattery as an Animal assistant, and volunteered for the RSPCA in the past I am able to care for a range of pets- including those that are elderly, timid in nature or specific health conditions (I have experience administering medication to pets). Caring for the pets at these charities was highly rewarding and I am passionate about taking time to understand the animals in my care, so I can adapt my approach towards their specific behavioural and emotional needs. Before going to university, I was a dog sitter and have cared for various size, breed and ages of dogs (including older Pugs, adult Corgis and German Shepards). I also have, for several years, volunteered at several city farms in London where I assisted with livestock and small animal care, such a guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and ferrets (but I also really like rats!) Personally, experience owning and looking after a beautiful elderly dog of my own, I deeply understand the value of having a trusting and reliable relationships between pet sitters, owners and their pets. I am an attentive and compassionate person, passionate about prioritising the wellbeing and health of all animals, and look forward to working with pets once more. I am currently back home after graduating and have a largely flexible schedule- including availability to care for pets at the weekends, whilst owners are away, and during the week. First walk is between 7-8 for an hour, then it’s breakfast time. Chill time after that (while I teach) then we go for lunchtime walks around 12/1. Sofa and playtime then quiet time till short evening walks around 5. Dogs that come here are treated like my own. We have structured days where they can play and be excited but then we also have downtime.
