About: I’ve had my own staffy for over 10 years, been a cat sitter for many years, so many people tell me I will hardly see there cat but always manage to give them some attention which the owner is surprised and pleased at, I’ve walked dogs ranging from a toy poodle all the way to a pit bull mix. I’m currently working part time, so can always try to be flexible with your pets needs, I will always aim for your pets interests to be put first. Sadly I can not offer services in my own home. More than happy to offer service in the pets normal habitat for a stress free visit.

About: I've been around animals my whole life - 30 years and counting! I grew up with cats, and my family has since rescued three small-to-medium dogs that I visit and care for regularly. Since moving to London, renting has meant I can't have my own pet, so I channel that love into sitting for family, friends, and fellow pet parents through apps like this one. I live in central Beckenham with Kelsey Park and Beckenham Place Park right on my doorstep which is brilliant for long walks and off-lead adventures (if allowed). I work from home three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), so your dog gets a fully present companion, not an empty house. I'm an active person - I run regularly and love being outdoors, so if your dog needs lots of exercise, I'm more than up for it. Equally, if your dog prefers a quieter day pottering around the house and snoozing on the sofa, I'm just as happy with that. I take my cues from your dog and what they need. I have experience with basic pet hygiene routines, like wiping eyes and brushing teeth. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I'm here all day to give your dog company, attention, and regular toilet breaks. I live in a cosy 2-up 2-down terraced house with a fenced courtyard garden - perfect for a sniff around, a quick play or a bathroom break. My schedule is flexible, so I take a lunchtime walk or run every day and can easily fit in extra breaks for toilet trips or playtime. Your dog won't be left waiting. Your pet's safety is my top priority. My courtyard garden is fully fenced with no gaps, and all the windows open from the top down, so there's no risk of climbing or jumping out. I keep cleaning products and anything harmful well out of reach. I'm home the entire time during boarding stays and your dog is never left unsupervised. I'm happy to send regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see exactly how they're getting on. Before any stay, I'd love to arrange a free meet-and-greet so your dog can get comfortable with me and the house first.
About: I have cared for cats and dogs for many years. For your dog I can provide a calm and quiet house with an enclosed garden. I appreciate that each every pet has its own individual personality and unique needs. I am experienced in looking after senior dogs and managed my own reactive dog for over 12 years. I am self employed, I set my own schedule and work from home. I currently have no pets of my own and plenty of spare time to provide the routine and care your pet needs. I will only show availability for pet care on the days I have the time and flexibility to dedicate to looking after your dog or cat. My home is quiet, spacious and has a private and enclosed garden. I live with my youngest adult daughter and my other two daughters visit regularly. They are all dedicated animal lovers like me. I will take your instruction on how your pet needs to be cared for and you can rely on me to follow it at all times. I had a reactive dog for over 12 years and so am aware how hard it can be to trust someone else to care for your precious pet when you need that help. If I am visiting your home to care for your pet I can provide plenty of references to reassure you I am trustworthy and reliable.
About: Hi there! We’re Alex and Susie, and we’re available to look after or walk your dog in the local area. We’ve both had great experiences with Borrowmydoggy, taking care of a dachshund, cockapoo and other small/medium sized dogs. Alex also regularly looked after a toy poodle for several years. We only recently joined Rover at the end of 2025. We’ve both got lots of experience with animals - Susie grew up with a mix of cats and dogs, including dachshunds and a rescue dog. She’s also a keen horse rider, and owned and cared for a horse for 20+ years. Alex grew up with a Lhasa Apso and Cavalier King Charles and he has also had pet rabbits and rats along the way. We both work from home most of the time and are able to do doggy day care, walks or drop ins a few times during the week. This would be mainly during working hours but could occasionally do evenings or the odd weekend day, but depending on other plans. We have a car, so easy to travel within the local area. We’re very flexible! We have a safe enclosed garden, with grass, and some dog toys and bowls etc. We don’t have pets of our own but have plenty of experience looking after others, and would only ever have your pet at home at any time, so can give them our full attention. We also live very close to a number of green spaces, including South Norwood country park, so have plenty of options for local walks too!
About: Hello! Anna will be your main contact and dog sitter, with James helping alongside. Our number one priority is to keep all pets safe, happy and loved when you’re not able to be there. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, playtime, or just making sure they stick to their routines. We treat all pets as if they’re our own. Dogs have always been a big part of both of our lives. We both grew up with dogs big and small, puppies and OAP’s, energetic and sleepy, so we’re well versed with all temperaments and making sure we give dogs what they need. We know how important it is to trust the people who are looking after your furry family member for that peace of mind, so we’ll make sure we provide regular updates and updates whilst they’re with us! We both work from home the vast majority of time so dogs are never left for long periods of time. Anna also works in a dog friendly office in Waterloo so if you’re happy, she might take it in from time to time - but this is not a requirement as we can ensure someone is always home if that works better! We both have active lifestyles and will always prioritise making sure any dogs get well exercised and played with! We have an enclosed fenced garden that any dogs can use at their leisure! We’ll always follow your lead with any routines your pet has, whether theyre allowed on the sofas/beds for example, or sleeps in a crate etc. We want to ensure your dog feels as at home as possible and we continue any boundaries you set to avoid confusion when they return home :)

About: I grew up surronded by dogs and cats and animals have always been a huge part of my life. As an adult, I finally achieved my dream of having my own dog - he soon became a member of my family (the most spoilt one!) and the centre of many happy adventures. Being a dog owner myself, I know exactly how stressful it can feel to leave your pet with someone new. When I first got my dog, we didn't travel abroad for 5 years because we couldn't imagine leaving him with anyone else. That is why your dog will be in very good hands with me. I will treat them as one of my own - with cuddles, patience and lots of love. Because I am self-employed, my schedule is flexible. This means I can offer reliable, consistent care, whether your pet needs morning cuddles, midday playtime or evening check-ins. I always follow the owner's instructions closely - whether your furry friend prefers exciting trips out, cosy indoor playtime or a calm routine at home. Your pet will get plenty of undivided attention and affection every moment they are with me.

I am usually available on weekends and some weekdays. Please send me a message if you have a specific request I live by myself in a big one bed flat. I live near various parks so I can take dogs for long or short walks as requested by their owner.
“Jonathan was a great sitter for Rosie - very prompt communication and really friendly. On the day he kept us updated and sent photos to show Rosie was doing ok. Will definitely use again. Thanks!”

About: I create genuine bond with every animal I care for. I’ve spent my whole life around dogs – from raising them as a child in Poland to caring for local pets here in the UK. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and personalities – from playful puppies and calm senior dogs to stressed rescue pups – and I always adapt my care to suit each pet’s unique needs. We have a simple rule of respect in our home, and I always try to pace our environment around the animal’s rhythm, helping them feel safe, calm, and loved. I’ve also cared for cats and am happy to support multi-pet households. I’ve stayed in owners’ homes during holidays, taken nervous dogs on gentle confidence-building walks, and kept lively pups entertained with games and cuddles. I’m often praised for my regular photo updates, thoughtful care, and consistency with routines. Sometimes, pets are so comfortable they don’t want to leave! I treat every animal as if they were my own and go the extra mile to ensure both pets and their owners feel happy, reassured and truly cared for. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and happily build into my weekly routine. I work from home one day a week and I’m generally available on weekends and weekday evenings – which makes me a great option for dog walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I plan ahead to make sure each pet receives the attention, time, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a long walk, a relaxed visit, or a cosy sleepover, I always make room in my schedule to provide calm, attentive, and loving care that fits the pet’s routine as well as mine. At home, we have a small fenced garden where dogs can enjoy safe outdoor time and a bit of fresh air between walks and cuddles.
“Mara was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures and videos of the cats playing and engaging with her while we were away. She let me know of a possible medical issue too so I could follow up at home. I would definitely recommend Mara to others.”

About: I have a diploma in animal management, which did a module on first aid, which means I am able to administer medications and spot the signs of ill health. I’ve done voluntary work at dog groomers and enjoy spending time around dogs. I currently have 11 pets of my own, but I am free at any time to look after your pets as I don’t currently work. Taking care of animals is one of my favorite things to do. I health check animals every time I meet them to make sure that they are happy and healthy. ensuring the health of your pet is my priority.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and that love has never faded. I've looked after pets for friends and family over the years, and I bring that same trust and care to every new pet I meet. I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and dog/cat sitting, plus house sitting with a little advance notice. I treat every pet like my own. Attentive, patient, loving, and genuinely happy to be there. Expect clear communication and photo updates along the way, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well looked after. If you want someone dependable who treats this as more than just a job, I'd love to meet you and your pet to chat things through and get organised. I want to make sure you and your pet feel like you're in safe, caring hands. Pet care fits naturally around my week. I build dog walks and drop in visits into my daily routine, and I'm happy to plan ahead for house sitting or longer stays with advance notice, so your pet always gets consistent, reliable attention. I care for pets in their own home, keeping to their usual routine so they feel settled and secure. I keep a close eye on their safety and wellbeing throughout, and always leave the home exactly as I found it.

About: I’ve been cat-sitting for my neighbors for years, caring for cats of all ages and temperaments. I have hands-on experience with special needs cats, including administering allergy medications and using an inhaler for an asthmatic cat. Whether your cat needs extra playtime, a calm companion, or specialized care, I ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I respect each cat’s unique personality, whether they’re independent or affectionate, and I always provide a stress-free environment while you’re away. I work full-time but have the flexibility to work from home, allowing me to provide consistent care for your cats. I’m available for drop-in visits in the mornings, evenings, and throughout the day on my remote workdays. Whether your cat needs feeding, litter box maintenance, medication, or just some companionship, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of while you’re away. I understand how important it is to keep your cat comfortable in their home environment. I follow their routine closely to minimize stress and ensure they feel secure. I have experience administering medications, handling special dietary needs, and creating a calm space for shy or anxious cats. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hi there! I’m Nesh 👋🏽🐾 — a big-time dog lover who will 100% treat your pup like family (and yes… I will probably talk to them like they’re a tiny human). In January, we sadly lost our sweet Frenchie, Luna, to cancer. She was truly my soul dog and we miss her every day 💛 While we’d love another dog one day, we’re waiting for now — so caring for other pups has become such a meaningful way for me to still have that love, companionship, and daily walkies in my life. We’re comfortable caring for small to medium dogs of all ages and energy levels, and I’m happy to stick closely to your pup’s routine — walks, playtime, feeding, chill time, and meds if needed. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs plenty of times and genuinely love it. I’m big on safety, cuddles (if your dog’s into it), and I’ll always send photo updates so you can relax while you’re away. I work from home most days and only go into the office twice a week (flexible between Tuesday–Thursday), so your pup will have lots of attention and company. For boarding: we have a toddler (she’ll be 3 in October!) who adores dogs and has grown up learning to respect their space (thanks to Luna 💕). If your pup loves kids, they’ll be spoiled rotten — and if they’re not on a special diet… expect treats 😂 My husband Alex will also be helping out, and I can almost guarantee he’ll become your dog’s favourite. I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work from home 3 days a week, and I only go into the office 1–2 days when my schedule is quieter (so I can head home earlier). My mornings are usually pretty calm, and my afternoons get busier since a lot of my team is based in the Americas. We’ve got a beautiful field nearby for walks, plus a secure garden for fresh air and outdoor breaks (always supervised). Your pup will still get proper leash walks too! While I’m working, they’re welcome to snooze right next to me — under my desk or nearby, depending on what they prefer. My dog used to love curling up under my desk, so I’m very used to having a little work buddy by my side. On the weekends we are usually at home but do enjoy doing something out of the house, we always try to have our pup included and this would be the same where possible We have a fully fenced, secure garden with plenty of space (and lots of good sniffing spots!) for outdoor breaks and fresh air. 🐾🌿 I always care for pets based on their needs and routine — whether that means lots of playtime, calm company, or a bit of both. My main goal is to make sure your fur baby feels safe, comfortable, and at home with us. I’m also very mindful about safety on walks (always leashed unless you’ve specifically approved otherwise), and I’ll follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medications, and house rules.
“We had just taken in an elderly cat when her owner sadly passed right before the Christmas holiday when we were going to visit grieving family. Our elderly lady Petal wasn't in the best shape, incredibly skinny and with bad kidneys. We scrambled to find someone to look after her on such short notice and were very lucky to find Kirsty! She kept Petal company, ensured she was fed and had a clean litterbox. When we returned we were overjoyed to see that she was putting weight back on and was looking so good! Kirsty was genuinely absolutely amazing at dealing with everything, especially as we were so nervous leaving our little lady behind but Kirsty made sure we had nothing to worry about.”

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Beckenham
First time with a cat sitter, as opposed to a cattery. So a bit anxious, especially my husband. I tried not to overburden her with too many requirements. Ashleigh was very attentive to Greta, and they seemed easy with each other. She sent us photos on every visit, which was nice. I think she has a dog, but I don't know about a cat. Possibly not. I found a Webbox cat sausage (tasty sticks) on the cat food mat. So maybe Ashleigh hadn't understood that they need to be broken up into small pieces for cats. It's not a big deal. She posted the front door key back. I would definitely have her to sit again.

Paulina was really responsive and always kept us up to date while looking after our elusive cat for a week, all of our instructions were followed closely and we returned to a happy healthy cat, thanks again! We would definitely use Paulina again and recommend her 100% for cat sitting!

Keziah was amazing! She took great care of our Spike. She took time to play with him, and he loved her. She was incredibly responsive and provided us with helpful updates. She even took out our trash at the end. We would definitely use Keziah again. She is professional and our cat loved her.
Viviana was a wonderful sitter for our cat and really put our minds at ease whilst we were away knowing he was being cared for. She sent updates at every visit with lots of lovely photos and was respectful of our property. Professional and caring, I definitely recommend Viviana as a true animal lover and all round lovely person.

Ferat was a fantastic cat sitter. Communication was excellent throughout, and he has a great way with animals. He was very attentive to my cats' individual needs and made sure they were happy and well cared for. I would happily book him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
Millie is a fantastic cat sitter, she cared so much for Max. She is very kind and understanding. She takes time to get to know her client’s pets and find out their quirks. These wonderful traits were seen in all the videos Millie sent. It really did make us incredibly happy while on holiday, it was so lovely to see. She spent quality time with Max and got to know him very well. We will definitely book Millie again.
