About: Before I moved to the UK I took care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats. After I moved I have had my baby Tomas (cat) for 11 years. As much as people want to say cats are “low maintenance” I think I got the short end of the stick… Because my cat is VERY high maintenance, so I am always taking care of his wants and needs but also giving him a lot of love. I have my cat however the two pets will be separated as my cat is a house one and is very scared of new buddies.

About: I have a diploma in animal management, which did a module on first aid, which means I am able to administer medications and spot the signs of ill health. I’ve done voluntary work at dog groomers and enjoy spending time around dogs. I currently have 11 pets of my own, but I am free at any time to look after your pets as I don’t currently work. Taking care of animals is one of my favorite things to do. I health check animals every time I meet them to make sure that they are happy and healthy. ensuring the health of your pet is my priority.

About: Hi there! We’re Alex and Susie, and we’re available to look after or walk your dog in the local area. We’ve both had great experiences with Borrowmydoggy, taking care of a dachshund, cockapoo and other small/medium sized dogs. Alex also regularly looked after a toy poodle for several years. We only recently joined Rover at the end of 2025. We’ve both got lots of experience with animals - Susie grew up with a mix of cats and dogs, including dachshunds and a rescue dog. She’s also a keen horse rider, and owned and cared for a horse for 20+ years. Alex grew up with a Lhasa Apso and Cavalier King Charles and he has also had pet rabbits and rats along the way. We both work from home most of the time and are able to do doggy day care, walks or drop ins a few times during the week. This would be mainly during working hours but could occasionally do evenings or the odd weekend day, but depending on other plans. We have a car, so easy to travel within the local area. We’re very flexible! We have a safe enclosed garden, with grass, and some dog toys and bowls etc. We don’t have pets of our own but have plenty of experience looking after others, and would only ever have your pet at home at any time, so can give them our full attention. We also live very close to a number of green spaces, including South Norwood country park, so have plenty of options for local walks too!

About: I've been around animals my whole life - 30 years and counting! I grew up with cats, and my family has since rescued three small-to-medium dogs that I visit and care for regularly. Since moving to London, renting has meant I can't have my own pet, so I channel that love into sitting for family, friends, and fellow pet parents through apps like this one. I live in central Beckenham with Kelsey Park and Beckenham Place Park right on my doorstep which is brilliant for long walks and off-lead adventures (if allowed). I work from home three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), so your dog gets a fully present companion, not an empty house. I'm an active person - I run regularly and love being outdoors, so if your dog needs lots of exercise, I'm more than up for it. Equally, if your dog prefers a quieter day pottering around the house and snoozing on the sofa, I'm just as happy with that. I take my cues from your dog and what they need. I have experience with basic pet hygiene routines, like wiping eyes and brushing teeth. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I'm here all day to give your dog company, attention, and regular toilet breaks. I live in a cosy 2-up 2-down terraced house with a fenced courtyard garden - perfect for a sniff around, a quick play or a bathroom break. My schedule is flexible, so I take a lunchtime walk or run every day and can easily fit in extra breaks for toilet trips or playtime. Your dog won't be left waiting. Your pet's safety is my top priority. My courtyard garden is fully fenced with no gaps, and all the windows open from the top down, so there's no risk of climbing or jumping out. I keep cleaning products and anything harmful well out of reach. I'm home the entire time during boarding stays and your dog is never left unsupervised. I'm happy to send regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see exactly how they're getting on. Before any stay, I'd love to arrange a free meet-and-greet so your dog can get comfortable with me and the house first.

About: I’ve had my own staffy for over 10 years, been a cat sitter for many years, so many people tell me I will hardly see there cat but always manage to give them some attention which the owner is surprised and pleased at, I’ve walked dogs ranging from a toy poodle all the way to a pit bull mix. I appreciate that each every pet has its own individual personality and unique needs. I am experienced in looking after senior dogs and managed my own reactive dog for over 12 years. I am self employed, I set my own schedule and work from home. I currently have no pets of my own and plenty of spare time to provide the routine and care your pet needs. I will only show availability for pet care on the days I have the time and flexibility to dedicate to looking after your dog or cat. My home is quiet, spacious and has a private and enclosed garden. I live with my youngest adult daughter and my other two daughters visit regularly. They are all dedicated animal lovers like me. About: I often take care of my friends pets, some regulars are Alfie (an older Bichon Frise), Waffle (a 4 year old labradoodle) and Evie (a kind rescue of unknown origins). Myself and my partner love pets and grew up around both cats and dogs. My partners mum actually does end of life care for senior dogs, so if we had a speciality maybe it's that? But ultimately we're just keen to help you where we can. Your fur baby will have two carers for the price of one as my partner Daniel Richardson is also on hand. He's been verified by the Rover team too. Myself and my partner Danny both work from home in Anerley. It's only us so we have a calm and gentle environment for your pet. If your pet requites lots of walks, we have a communal garden outside of our flat, as well as Betts Park on our Doorstop and Crystal Palace park a 8 minute walk away. We are able to give your pet our full attention and are happy to meet their needs and keep their routine, rather than us fitting around them. Routine is most important for fur babies, so any instructions will be followed to the letter.

We both work from home the vast majority of time so dogs are never left for long periods of time. In January, we sadly lost our sweet Frenchie, Luna, to cancer. She was truly my soul dog and we miss her every day 💛 While we’d love another dog one day, we’re waiting for now — so caring for other pups has become such a meaningful way for me to still have that love, companionship, and daily walkies in my life. We’re comfortable caring for small to medium dogs of all ages and energy levels, and I’m happy to stick closely to your pup’s routine — walks, playtime, feeding, chill time, and meds if needed. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs plenty of times and genuinely love it. I’m big on safety, cuddles (if your dog’s into it), and I’ll always send photo updates so you can relax while you’re away. I work from home most days and only go into the office twice a week (flexible between Tuesday–Thursday), so your pup will have lots of attention and company. My mornings are usually pretty calm, and my afternoons get busier since a lot of my team is based in the Americas. We’ve got a beautiful field nearby for walks, plus a secure garden for fresh air and outdoor breaks (always supervised). Your pup will still get proper leash walks too! While I’m working, they’re welcome to snooze right next to me — under my desk or nearby, depending on what they prefer. My dog used to love curling up under my desk, so I’m very used to having a little work buddy by my side. On the weekends we are usually at home but do enjoy doing something out of the house, we always try to have our pup included and this would be the same where possible We have a fully fenced, secure garden with plenty of space (and lots of good sniffing spots!) for outdoor breaks and fresh air. 🐾🌿 I always care for pets based on their needs and routine — whether that means lots of playtime, calm company, or a bit of both. I work from home 2-3days per week as a Human Resources Manager, with a flexible schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m active and enjoy getting outside, so I’m happy to provide longer walks for energetic dogs or keep things slower and relaxed for older or more laid-back pets. About: I’ve been having dogs in my family since I was 5 years old, I grow up loving them as a part of myself. My family, friends and neighbors always gave me the responsibility to take care of their dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, etc. so I have plenty of experience with any kind of pets, i love dogs with all my life, I’m missing my two yorkies back in Bolivia. I’m currently working hybrid, but mostly from home, my job is very flexible, so have plenty of time to take care of your babies and play with them, I’m available every weekend and everyday really.
