I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure while their owners are away, so I take the time to follow their usual routines, feeding schedules, walk preferences. As someone currently studying professional dog training with PACT, I am developing a strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language, welfare, and positive reinforcement methods. This helps me provide thoughtful, attentive care while recognising when a pet may need extra space, reassurance or mental stimulation. I always keep owners updated with regular messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

Mara was fantastic looking after our Rottweiler Diesel for the day. From first request she was quick to respond, and was flexible to make sure the arrival time worked for everyone. She took great care of Diesel and sent plenty of pictures during g the day. We will definitely use here again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to take good care of their pet.
Mara was fantastic - it’s clear that she genuinely loves animals! She took such great care of our two cats, spent time playing with them, and made sure they were safe and well looked after while we were away. We really enjoyed checking all the updates and photos, and came home to two happy boys! I would definitely recommend Mara, and I would happily have her look after our cats again!
We will always trust Mara to look after Tilly when we go away. We know Tilly will be played with, cuddled and cared for so well. We wouldn’t pick anyone else 😊

Finding someone you truly trust with your dog is no small thing, and Mara exceeded every expectation. Alby – my seven-month-old cocker spaniel – bonded with her immediately, which told me everything I needed to know. Her communication throughout the sit was brilliant: consistent updates, photos, and genuine warmth. I always knew he was in safe hands. She also went well beyond what was asked, approaching the role with real care and initiative. I came home to a happy, calm dog, which is the ultimate review in itself. Mara is a rare find and I recommend her without hesitation.

Monday to Friday (walks & drop-ins): Early morning: 6:30am - 9am Lunchtime: 1pm - 2pm Evening: 5:30pm - 8pm Overnight care when possible Saturday & Sunday: Full availability for 1 to 1 walks / small group walks / drop-in visits / overnight care
