About: Your precious pet/s will be loved and cared for by me as I appreciate how special our pets are to us. I have been around dogs and other pets (inc. cats) for most of my life and love their companionship. I have recently relocated to the UK after residing in New Zealand for 20+ years (working as a teacher and running a dog home boarding service in the school holidays). I am in the lucky position to be able to offer my services as a dog homestay host or as a sitter in your home, dog walker and/or home pet visits. I have cared for many different breeds, ages and sizes of dogs. I love all the doggy cuddles; indeed, taking a dog for a walk, you could say, is one of my 'happy places.' I have included in my photos some of the reviews I received from many of my previous happy dog owners. The last dog I owned was a Cavoodle and he developed epilepsy at 5 years of age. I had to manage his condition for 6 years before he passed away. I am therefore used to administering medicine and adhering to a strict medicine regime (my dog had to have his meds at specific times throughout the day), and I have experience caring for dogs with specific needs. Importantly, I am qualified in dog psychology and training and used to take part in, and on several occasions ran, a dog agility class. I hold a level 3 Ofqual recognized certificate in canine behaviour and care in a home boarding environment. I am also trained in canine first aid. I offer a high standard of care and am happy to ensure that your pet remains calm and happy while I am responsible for them. A meet and greet is required before I accept a booking. If staying in my home your dog must be fully vaccinated and upto date with flea/worm treatments. I live in a smoke free home. For new clients- Before a stay of more than 2 nights a 1 night trial stay is required. When booking please be as accurate as possible with your drop off and pick up time. Home boarding/house sitting includes 2x daily walks (weather permitting). Daycare also includes a daily walk. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I am free to care for your pet throughout the day, 7 days a week. When boarding overnight your dog will follow its normal routines with regards to walks, play (enrichment activities) and feeding. I have a house with a fenced garden and your dog would be cared for as if it was at home. I would follow any instructions given with regard to the care of your pet.

About: Having had dogs throughout my life since a young age, I’ve developed a real love for them. My cocker spaniel, who came into our lives shortly before COVID restrictions, taught me the deep bonds that we develop with our animals, getting us through hard times and being the therapy that we need! Deciding to take my love for dogs even further, in 2024 I became a full time dog walker, offering drop in style visits for different kinds of animals; cats, dogs, puppies, turtles, Guinea pigs. I offer solo walks for those who need extra attention or who are a bit nervous, paired/groups for those that love a buddy to play with, puppy visits for those little paws that can’t go too far yet, cat visits for your feline friend, and visits for any other type of animal that you may have! Having been members of borrowmydoggy, and trustedhousesitters prior to getting our own dog, we know all about ensuring an environment that matches the one your pup is coming from. We are aware that different dogs have different rules, and we like to keep to the same schedule you would at home to ensure minimal disruption. This means feeding at the same time, walking at the same time where possible, and ensuring the same sleeping arrangements (dogs are allowed on the sofas and beds here!) Dogs must be happy with other dogs as we have Hugo here. I work from home full time, and Josh does 2 out 5 days at home, so there's usually always someone around. On the odd occasion that dogs have to be left, it is never for more than 3-4 hours. We are happy to crate, or leave free roaming (providing house trained and not destructive). We have two crates here, of different sizes, so you wouldn't need to worry about bringing that with you. Whilst we are all about routine, I would always recommend bringing the familiar items that make your dog think of home - beds, toys, blankets etc (although we have a lot spare so no worries if you forgot!) We provide photos and videos of your pup, alongside a pup postcard (if boarding) upon your return, so you can hear about all the fun things your pup got up to on their holiday. Our mornings start early (05:30) where we usually let the dogs out for a toilet break in the secured garden. We then have a quick lunchtime walk (20 - 25 mins) and then after work, a nice long walk. We are used to catering for our dog, and sometimes friends dogs, so we are used to the dogs running our schedule! We have a grassy garden that is fenced and gated on all sides. We have our dog who will happily play with any dog visitors. We don't have children and have very few visitors to the property so is quite quiet for any nervous pups. We also have the beach on our doorstep and the lakes and hills down the road. Happy to let dogs sleep on the bed/the sofa/their own bed/their crate - whatever you do at home, we can replicate!

About: We have had multiple dogs since a young age, and have had my dog for over a year - he is friendly and good with other dogs I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week, and walks the dog twice a day, with multiple play breaks throughout the day. On weekends I get out to the lakes with the dog at every opportunity Our back garden is completely secure and when the weather is nice the door is always open for the dog to come and go from the garden as he wants
About: I only take dogs from the same household at any given time. I have looked after dog for the majority of my life being brought up around various dog breeds of various ages I have also done basic command training with young puppies being brought up around my grandad who was a dog trainer, I have also been under the careful watch of administering different medicines to senior dogs, having dogs is my passion and whilst the dogs are in my care they will be treated with love and care. My years of vet nursing mean that I am able to look after all dogs and their individual needs. I’m currently reducing my hours with work and so have a lot more free time!
